I may have lost it a bit on A that I have to think of, plan and do literally everything and I'm sick of suggesting names just for him to shoot down and if he didnt start suggesting I would name her whatever the hell I wanted and he couldnt complain. Hes now googling name lists 😂

peachsmama I get the being the one to do all the planning and organizing things, but if picking a name is causing arguments, maybe you take a step away from it for a bit. You have plenty of time to decide...enjoy your pregnancy and your last few months as a family of 4, and your boys as they are. The name will get figured out, arguing isnt going to help.

Veda was the name we had picked for the longest time when i was pregnant with n. We changed our mind last minute but I do still love the name!

I wouldn't be arguing/fighting him if he would actually contribute. But he acts like he did when I wanted to talk baby names when I wasnt pregnant. But now I am and we so have to decide eventually and if he hates everything I suggest then he needs to contribute to the conversation. I'm not trying to decide right now. I'm fine with going in with a few choices and deciding after shes born. But not when he will only consider one name and acts like I'm ridiculous for wanting to talk about others. It's not really the names, it's the way hes acting about it. Like it doesnt matter and I'm silly for wanting to talk about it. Once he heard that and he was looking at lists and making suggestions we actually came up with a few more we both really like. |

Voice of dissent on Greta, personally not a fan. I wont even say what he said about it 😂 Sorry; just reading through. When I suggested Greta with our firstborn, my husband said all he could think of was a fat opera singer with a pointy metal bra. It didn't make the cut. |
