Current girl names in C's class: Monday - Eliza (Elizabeth), Caroline, Rossi (Rosalind), Maggie (Margaret) Thursday - Charlotte, Caroline, Eleanor B's class: Kaylee, Auri, Olivia, Kinsley (I may have spelled that wrong) -- none of those are my favorite. Olivia is cute enough but it's been so popular lately. C's classes have the better names, IMO

Also, I still struggle with how we spelled C’s name. I let DH pick and be insisted but I know it’s going to be spelled wrong all the time, it already happens.

Molly reminds me of the drug. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I love the name Molly, but that's the first thing I think of too.

My nephew (who is 11) has the same name/spelling and it’s fine. Of course you’ll get or instead of er but I think that happens with anyone who has a name that has multiple common spelling options.

I like Natalie. That one popped into my head after I posted upthread. I have only known 1. Molly isn't bad in and of itself but I have known so many labs and golden retrievers with that name, lol. I still like Meredith a lot and I wouldn't let Grey's Anatomy stop me. Granted I don't watch but I feel like we'd be seeing a lot more in classrooms if it was popular b/c of that (think about "Charlotte" after SATC...went from relative oblivion to a top 10 name). The only Merediths I have ever known are my age. Consider the boys' names, too. They are pretty classic so to put something super whimsical or dramatic would be an odd combo, IMO. But that's just me. vino I have always liked Lauren and even Laurel (slightly less common). I think Lauren was more popular when we were young but hasn't been as 'hot' recently, which isn't a bad thing. I like Lauren and Laurel. Laurel is a town near us that is known for meth.... Lauren I like, but A has qn aunt Laura that we see often. Is that weird?

I'm not sure Rose Claire flows. Maybe something like Rosalind and then shorten it to Rosie.

This is confirming that it is going to be a rough road picking names for us.
The only one I've liked suggested so far is Natalie..well besides the name I've already used. I like Josie but I doubt mh would go for it for some reason.
I also kind of like Alice Anne (Annie) Clara
Boys are even harder. William maybe? Of course we are team green again..

Also I like James and Jake (but nephew is one of those). J used to claim he wanted a brother named Tommy..which would fall in the classic name file I guess. I have always liked drew, but not Andrew. Not sure if that's weird to go nn though.

Not sure if that's weird to go nn though. We toyed around with Andersen nn Andy for Charlie. I also like Andir for a girl, but not the formal names that might attach to it. I also like Jillian. Stella’s a family name for us, but an older cousin swiped it up years ago. It’s been pretty popular lately. ETA: apparently, I can talk names all day.
