Sitting at work. It's 7am and I've already lost all my motivation to do anything productive today.

I had trouble sleeping last night so I'm pretty tired today. And H is being difficult so not a good combination. Plus I have work tomorrow and my cousin and his girlfriend are babysitting the boys, so trying to clean my house so they don't think I'm a total slob when they come here. Also, we found out last night that you can get a 1-time license to officiate a wedding here. So I'm gonna do that and officate for my mom and her fiance. Starting a thread on the private board for ideas.

I had a Dr Appt this morning and ran some errands, now I'm running a shitload of laundry. I have plans to use the exercise bike today, but otherwise I am just looking forward to a quiet day at the house. My ILs are here but I think they are about to head out for most of the day, and they're going to see my SIL tonight so we'll have the house to ourselves.
Tomorrow we have about half a dozen homes to see, and we're going without the kids. I hope one of these works out, we have a few really interesting options.

I'm so happy it's Friday but the way shit is going, I'll be working through the weekend.. or at least having to call into meetings. Super lame since it's a 3 day weekend.
I really wanted to leave early today. My sister is supposed to come tomorrow and I assume she's staying with us. I have to get the guest room and house cleaned up a bit.

I hope you guys are able to find one this weekend. House hunting is fun for like, one weekend, and then after that it just becomes a chore.

Has anyone done some shopping at Gymboree or Crazy 8 yet? They're shutting down and it looks like everything is on sale online.

If you do Gymboree sign up for their emails and you can get an extra 20% off. I checked both sites and didn't find anything I couldn't live without. I can get some of that stuff cheaper elsewhere.

WFH with the kids today. Day 7 of no nap. This blows. At least they go to bed early and without a ‘fight’ now but still, I miss the nap. I’ve heard it can come and go, and it did for about a month or two (Nov-early Jan). But they have no interest. On Wednesday we took them both to ABs appt (so that we could take them out for pizza for dinner after).... they didn’t even doze in the car. Wide awake.
I’m curious what everyone else’s LO is doing for sleep schedule these days.
At this point ours do 6:15pm to 6/6:30am. I think they say 2 yrs old should do 11-12 hours at night and 1.5-3 hrs during the day but I can’t very well force them to sleep. I give them an hour to fall asleep. And we do another 30-45 mins of quiet time in the afternoon.

I am gone by then, but MH has been bitching about it lately. Nap is at about 1pm and he's usually down for 1.5-2 hours. Very rarely does he nap longer than 2 hours.

kleigh H goes to bed between 7:30-8. I have to wake him around 6:45 during the week & he'll take a 2 hour nap at daycare. On the weekends he goes to bed closer to 8-8:30, will sleep till 7 and take a 3 hour nap.

We do bedtime at 7. H is usually asleep by 7:30. He wakes up anywhere between 5:30 and 7, but usually a bit after 6. Naps vary, some days he'll skip it entirely, some days he'll nap for 2.5 hours.

Bedtime for C is 7:30/8. Lately he has been staying awake, quiet in his crib for up to an hour later but we just leave him be. He sleeps until 7/8. Nap lately is around 12:30/1 and lasts about 1.5-2 hrs. Except when he's at MILs where he likes to take 3 hour naps.

We put O in bed at 730p but he normally plays in his bed until 8p. Wake up is normally 7ish. Nap at 12:30p - 1.5 hours at daycare; 2.5 at home. I don’t think O will give up the nap anytime soon.

And we do another 30-45 mins of quiet time in the afternoon. L naps from 12:30-3:30 (but actually sleeps 1:00ish-3:30ish) L goes to bed later than everyone else. He is in bed by 8:45-9pm but doesn't wake up till 8-9am if I let him sleep in! Some days he refuses to nap and those days he'll go to bed around 7:30pm and still sleeps till 7-8am. He naps most days. The days I tried to do without a nap because he's fighting me or something, he's dozing off at 4:30pm which is way too late for him to be taking a nap.

Y'all, I'm not sure if the snow is coming! When I left for work this AM, we had big chunks falling from the sky. That happened on and off all day with no accumulation. My area was supposed to get 1-3" today and another 20+" tomorrow! Now the "big snow storm" is supposed to be from Saturday night (5-9 start) thru Sunday!?! It keeps getting pushed back. I can't live this way! So as of now, we're doing gymnastics and yoga tomorrow as there's no reason to not go!?! I'd rather it snow or just stop threatening me weather person!

I know my area might be different but we are getting the worst of it tomorrow night. It’s starting here around 1pm tomorrow and we are getting 12inches Saturday night alone! So you’ll probably get the worst of it Sunday if the system is moving east?
