I pretty much consider it a win whenever I make some money and don't get murdered with online sales. It seems like everyone around me has a lot of luck with them but I usually don't. I use FB and am too lazy to download and monitor other apps. This is why I usually donate most of what I can because I'm not motivated enough to take the time to sell it. If it's close to the time of my mom's annual garage sale I take stuff down there. She always tries to give me the money but I sneak it back in her purse since she did the work of selling it.

At work this cold AM. No one scheduled so I plan to fart around online for most of the day. I'm really annoyed with my body. I planned our vacation over 6 months ago and at the time my period app was showing I was in the clear. Now with a wonky cycle it shows my period starting right in the middle of my vaca. It better not.

Well now I'm going to go check out this Graco Transitions seat... eta: speaking of, has anyone put their N13 kid in a highback booster yet? Or is everyone still in a 5-point harness-style seat. In looking at them, the height limit for the 5-point is usually 49-50" and B is right there. M has one in my in laws’ car.

Damn tgrimes . I hope they get better soon. Maybe you should move here: I’m sold. As long as they have wine in there.

I walked into the formal living room where M was playing and it smelled like poop. Like, I almost fell over it was that bad.
Me: Did you poop in your panties? M: No. Me: did you toot? M: no. It’s just the dog. Me: the dog doesn’t even come in this room. M: it was daddy. Me: daddy isn’t home.
My kid is a stinky damn liar.

Yes I was kind of thinking of getting one and keeping it in my H's car, since he's usually only in that care for short periods, while he gets used to it. The seat in my car is currently a 5-point but transitions to the HBB.

If it's close to the time of my mom's annual garage sale I take stuff down there. She always tries to give me the money but I sneak it back in her purse since she did the work of selling it. I've sold online, but it's in very specific resale groups where stuff goes fast and there's no haggling, and then I can mail it. Otherwise I typically donate or consign the kids' stuff where I can just drop it off and get paid immediately. This is so big that I was hoping to avoid driving it somewhere or waiting for Salvation Army or Vietnam Vets to come pick it up. One woman wanted me to deliver it to her. Uh, no, sorry this isn't Rooms-to-go. One guy just offered me $150 (less than asking) and I said yes, we'd take that; then he's like, "so what's the lowest you'll go". Um, if you wanted to pay less you should have offered less. This brief experiment has convinced me that I will never try to sell anything again. Lesson learned!

We’re just hanging around the house. I need to figure out what we’ll be doing outside of the house. I can’t be in this house all day with the kids. They did let me sleep in, so that was nice. Just some laundry and cooking dinner later. Hope everyone has a good Sunday!

flamingo, I just recently switched both girls to high back boosters. They love them and sit in them really well. There was a short adjustment phase for them to learn how to buckle them on their own. They take up so much less space than their old monster car seats. They have also been able to sleep in them comfortably upright with the head rest and remain in a safe position. This might be a dumb question, but how does a high back booster attach? The seatbelt is used for the kids, so do you go back to using the latch system?

Most of them don’t attach to the seat at all, just buckling them in with the kid is enough.

So if your kid isn’t in the car, wouldn’t it slide around or fall if you took a sharp turn or hit the brakes fast?!

They do have some now with the latch system which is what I will get for my car when we transition. He’s currently in a five point the converts but no latch. That will move to Dhs car and the new one will go on mine. I’m planning to move to it after my post winter car detail in March. He’s not at the height limit but the crotch strap area is very snug for some reason.

Ours (and most if not all, I think) have a guide loop for the seat belt chest strap just below the head rest. We keep the seat belt through there even when the kids aren't in it. I don't know if that's what keeps it in place but they haven't moved around at all. Since they aren't latched in it makes it so much easier to clean.

flamingo the transitions does transition to a high back and then a regular booster. I have no idea how though. S is still in 5 point harness. He’s pretty small and he doesn’t seem to mind or so I see no need to switch now. But I was thinking that I should switch before he hits K so it’s easier for him to unbuckle and jump out in the drop off lane.

My children are so short they will stay in 5pt harnesses until they’re like 10. I actually, just this week, turned S forward facing. I could have kept her rf for longer but I just decided one day that I wanted to do it. flamingo I’m pretty sure the britax seats have the highest height limit. I’d look into the frontier or pioneer.
