Age: He turns four tomorrow!
Milestones: He chose to wear underwear all day yesterday with no accidents. We're getting there. He also started swimming lessons Monday night and absolutely loved it. He's excited to go back tonight.
Challenges: Potty training. Of course.
Funny/cute stories: He woke up super early yesterday despite being wiped out from swim lessons the night before. He said he had a dream that everything was made of jelly and candy, and he was so excited and happy that he woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. Luckily I had gone to be early the night before!
QOTW: We have tons of open ended and manipulative toys that I love. Magnatiles are by far the favorites, followed by wooden building blocks and legos. They also like the old school pattern making blocks and ++ blocks. Sneaky Squirrel, Race to the Treasure (I love this game), and Hungry Hungry Hippos are favorite board games. They have a pop-up tent that is vaguely rocket shaped, and they spend hours going to the moon or Mars in it. They like to make bath bombs and make necklaces using yarn or pipecleaners and beads (they have a cool little MOMA maker kit from Target). They entertain themselves for ridiculously long times with the little particle board cut-outs with holes for lacing. We also do a lot of fort building with furniture and blankets.
