I barely know what day of the week it is since I’ve been off work for the last few weeks. I’ve had to look at my phone to tell me an embarrassing amount of times. Lol.

We are in the hospital cafeteria eating breakfast before the next appointments and girlfriend is chowing down. She ate 6 French toast sticks, bacon, eggs, and a biscuit. I have no clue where she’s going to store all that food in her tiny body. And half of that was my food! Oh well. I didn’t need it anyway.

Between M waking me up twice & MH getting home/snoring, I was up 4767388 times last night. So annoying.

I need to get a move-on on SIL's shower gift, so we are heading out to do that once I get ready. Sadly we don't have a BuyBuyBaby here and of course no BRU anymore; makes baby shopping a bit difficult!

Morning! I signed my kid up for swimming lessons, which in Holland is s bit of a rite of passage, my baby boy is getting so big. It hit me that he’s turning 6 this year, 6!!! Stressfull day at the office, why do people want everything at once and omit facts so that my answer isn’t valid!?!?! Anyhow, one more hour!

Morning! I hope you can find a way to rest today, tgrimes! Hope S did well last night, lfig. Any idea on when they will release you? We had a little snow when ice overnight, so a two hour delay here. I am cooking dinner while the kids fight/play over blocks. |

Morning.
Yesterday at pickup, they told us M2 had been clingy after his nap. No fever, but he did cough, had no appetite, and was clingy the rest of the night. He slept ok. I want to keep him home today, but Mh had a few appointments this AM, so he will pick him up as soon as he’s done with those just before lunch. Usually when he’s like this, the only thing that helps is breathing treatments and it usually takes a day or so to get him feeling better. Hopefully today will do the trick because MH leaves tomorrow for a while.

H has been tantruming like crazy recently. I find it hilarious by MH doesn't deal with it as well. Conversation between me & MH. (our friends were sent to mexico city for work last year)
Me: I got an invitation to Nell's baby shower.
MH: In Mexico?
Me: Yes, I'm flying to Mexico.
MH: Cool, as long as you take H with you.

Morning! Running to Target to return some of the eleventy billion bins I bought. This is my first day leaving Ferris home in the crate for a good chunk of time. We crate him a few hours a day even when we are home and he does fine, plus H is home working, so should be NBD. He's such a mellow guy, but this morning as I was packing up everyone for school he was tearing around grabbing things and terrorizing everyone. It was so unlike him, but good to see he is actually a normal puppy.
Not much on the agenda today. I need to cobble together a quick meal plan while I'm in Target. Our NPR wines come today (woo hoo!), so I'm thinking some steaks are in order 😉

Morning! A was sent home from d.c. with a fever yesterday, so MH is home this morning with her and I'm leaving early to take over this afternoon. She seems totally fine otherwise (although I'm not ruling out ear infection yet), so I take it as a birthday bonus for myself today. 😁 Maybe she'll be extra snuggly I hope she’s feeling better soon. lfig glad S is in good spirits for now. mamabear Happy Birthday! DH left for his trip for real at 4am. C was up a lot. I got the kids to school, walked C and and dog, did a workout, cleaned a bathroom, and I’m on my third load of laundry. I need to get a few things to finish my basket for the hockey tricky tray and then assemble and drop it off at the woman who is in charge’s house. Was going to roam the mall with C but he’s taking a good nap so I probably won’t have time before pick up. My kids have no activities tonight for once! Hoping to just lay low and relax.

If I get a flavored latte, I usually ask for half the number of pumps anyway, but it’s good to know that it’s not super sweet.. |

I’m back down to just one cup of coffee in the morning (I broke this habit over Christmas break) and then I switch to green tea. I played with the idea of a Starbucks medicine ball yesterday in the afternoon, and I think it’s just so tasty and s good pick me up. I mixed a green tea bag with a peppermint tea bag a little bit of lemon, and a shot of hot spicy honey. Delicious! I made an H one last night swapping out the peppermint for ginger— still good!

Morning ladies! Happy birthday mamabear! Hope you have a good day! lfig I hope your appointments today go good and you get some answers! tgrimes caffeine to you today! Or a cat nap on your lunch! So weird question...how often do you think your N13 goes potty? I had noticed last week that Evie seems to go very frequently, I've asked her on a couple of occasions if it hurts when she potties, thinking maybe UTI (I get them easily) and she always says no. She stayed with the in laws Friday and SMIL said she's worried about how often she goes. Even when she isn't drinking anything, she is in the bathroom every 5-10 minutes. And she does go. I kind of chalked it up to the attention she gets from when she goes, but I've been talking to her more about it. I told her we may need to go to the doctor and they would possibly want to poke her for some blood or make her pee in a cup to see if there is something going on. That seemed to upset her. I asked how often she goes when she's at pre-school and she said just during the break when they all go (once in 2.5 hours) and she's fine. It's like if she is by a bathroom, she MUST use it. I can't decide if it's worth a trip to the doctor, since she says it doesn't hurt and I've checked and there is no blood in her urine. |
