I'm sorry about the tachycardia Tlex I'd be so freaked out by that. Is there another endo you can go to for a second opinion if the first isn't doing a good job at managing your care? That's some straight up BS.

That's frustrating, Tlex, not to mention stressful. I hope your OB can put you at ease a bit, and that you let your endo have it!

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 29+5
Baby is the size of a: small cabbage
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: Stm
Team: blue
Appointments: next week,
Symptoms: So much heartburn. Doesn't matter what I eat it gets bad mid day and is awful the rest of the day.
Milestones: passed my 3h glucose! And we've moved to 2 week appointments.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm nesting like a crazy person. Today I'm painting the baby's room while DD is at preschool. Once that's done I can set up the crib. When DH puts the Christmas stuff in the attic he's gonna take down the baby stuff!!!!

Tlex, that must have been so stressful/scary. I'm glad you got to go home, but agree that you should feel free to rip your endo a new one.

Weeks pregnant/Due date:30 weeks!
Baby is the size of a: platypus
FTM/STM/TTM/etc:ttm
Team:girl
Appointments: had one today. Measuring 29 weeks. Baby is head down and doing good. Got blood taken to test my iron levels.
Symptoms: feeling pretty good just breathlessness sometimes. I don't know if it is nesting or just the new year but I am organizing everything.
Milestones: starting 2 week appointments!
Rants/Raves/Vents: I know there are still 10ish weeks left but it feels like it isn't long at all and I need to get everything ready. I have started lists of things for the baby, the birth, and postpartum. I have had so much baby brain happening so I feel like I am going to forget something. On the plus side dd1 has a great memory and kept reminding me of things to talk to the midwife about today.

Thanks ladies just an update from my OB, he reviewed my whole NST himself and feels ok with it, he said while the baby was still tachy he was showing good variations and that’s the main thing they want to see, but I’ll do another NST next week just to keep an eye on things. I feel better just knowing he looked at it himself!

Eames that is a gorgeous bump! But I admit I cringe when I read that you’re measuring 39 weeks already, I can’t imagine going on further from there. It just sounds dreadfully hard and uncomfortable! Of course then there’s also trying to be so grateful that the babies are still baking while being miserable... man, seems really tough! I hope you are able to find comfort (literally) here and there as you go!

Sorry your H got into poison ivy lemondrop ! I got it one time, and I got a med called Zanfel (from Walgreen’s I think). It’s expensive, but it works. The best part is that you rub it in to the poison ivy until it doesn’t itch any more. It’s amazing! I hope you pass your 3 hour glucose test remi ! Umm...that’s very strange that they didn’t ask you about the daye pambee . Zanfel didn't work for him Neither does Mean Green, which is similar (I think Zanfel actually uses Mean Green in their ingredients), or Calamine. The only thing that kind of does is Domeboro, but it's so drying that it just transfers one kind of itch to another. Thankfully the swelling has come down so he can walk normally, but he still can't put a shoe on without pain, and his body is sending welts now to other places on his body (stomach, neck, butt). Poor guy, I feel so awful for him. We ended up tossing his old boots and buying him brand new ones and a better waterproofing spray and wax. Oh no! Your poor H. I’m glad the swelling has gone down. I hope the poison ivy goes away ASAP! I’ve been able to successfully avoid poison ivy by scrubbing any exposed area with Dawn dish soap right after any potential exposure. My grandparents live in the woods, and there’s poison ivy everywhere. I got poison ivy 2 years in a row while working out there. The third year I scrubbed with Dawn dish soap, and I didn’t get any, except one small area on the back of my neck that I didn’t scrub with Dawn. Might be worth a try for your H!

He actually did try Dawn dish soap, but because it was such a prolonged exposure (a 12 hour day in his boots) it didn't do anything He decided to do an inspection today on an existing property and managed to put on his new boots, so hopefully he's on the way to healing. And I'll be out respraying the new boots with waterproofing spray once a week because fuuuuuuck this happening again. And for real, fuck whoever just mowed down a bunch of poison ivy without second thought to people who may be working near it. Between the builders, the electricians, the plumbers, etc who have been working on those houses, there's no way he was the only one affected by the oils. But, given how this town acts (ie, GET ALL HOUSES BUILT ASAP WHO CARES WHAT YOU CUT DOWN) it's not a surprise they didn't remove it appropriately.

Eames, they haven't measured my belly yet. But I'm getting u/s once a month, NST twice a month. Last U/S in December showed A head down and both boys measuring a week ahead. Next u/s is set for Jan 21st... and they said depending on how it looks then, we'll decide scheduled C section or vaginal induction date, unless I go into labor sooner. I was induced with my DD. I kinda hope if I schedule it I can either choose 3-14 or 3-17 lol

grover glad you are doing well! I think I'm going to ask at work if I can start WFH 2 days per week. This was my first full week since before Christmas, and my body is just DONE. I can't sleep well and I'm just so tired. DD is going to spend the night at my dad's this weekend so we can go through some stuff, but I just want to lay down... she has so much energy, I wish I could steal some lol.

Eames I was chaseing my kids playfully in the house this week. There is no way i can catch my 4 year old at this point and my 2 year really seems to be getting faster...he is even hard to catch. My running pace is getting super slow. So I cant imagine how I would feel with twins at this point. You do what your body needs, its doing a huge thing right now.
