@amc, Thank you for the update! I can't imagine how frustrating that must be. I have zero experience to give any advice in these areas but I hope everything starts smoothing out for all of you.

notagoddess I'm so sorry. That is really f'ed up. I feel like there is a special place in hell for men who use their power to add to a pregnant womans suffering. @amc oh no, that sounds frustrating and scary! I'm glad they've got you on a plan to get milk established and we're all sending lots of good thoughts for baby's health!

Induction is set for Monday. Kind of bummed it isnβt Saturday since he mentioned it, but glad the NST and ultrasound checked out so we are safe to wait until Monday.

notagoddess, So, I casually brought up your situation to my mom (she's a work comp adjuster) and she full agrees that you need to make it clear to them that requiring you to be there when it's possible to work at home given the work conditions is definitely something that could end up as a worker's comp claim if anything were to happen.

tngrl3 Hope everything has been smooth sailing today and that youβre snuggling your baby girl right now! notagoddess thatβs such BS. It sucks you were told one thing and now youβre having to deal with your boss taking it back. I hope heβs able to get approval from up higher sooner rather than later so you can WFH once or twice a week until baby arrives. If youβre easily able to do the work from the comfort of your own home thereβs no reason to make it harder than it needs to be. Hugs. k yay for having an induction date on the books! Monday will be here before you know it. Maybe baby will even surprise you and decide he/she is ready before then! π€π» strawberrykiki Hope your NST went well today! @amc Iβm sorry youβre having to deal with pumping & supplementing on top of having your sweet baby girls foot pricked every day to have her bili levels checked. DD had jaundice and I hated looking at her poor little newborn feet all bruised up for almost 2 weeks. I hope this stage passes quickly and she ends up being a champion nurser. Hugs!

notagoddess Thatβs a bummer about work being difficult. They really need to rethink their whole WFH perspective, especially in situations like this. @amc Welcome home! Iβm sorry for the frustrations and I hope that things get easier soon. k Glad to hear that you have a date on the books!

Ds3 has been sleeping moderately well, has has just had many nights of restlessness - not needing to eat but just requiring us getting up to put a pacifier in. Last night was the first one he slept really soundly, but then ds1 &2 were up. Both had slight fevers, ds2 I think might be getting molars and was screaming and wouldn't go back to bed. So now ds1 is home from school and they are both acting normally, although I'm sure ds2 will crash well before naptime due to total lack of sleep (and me!).

I got a note from my OB to WFH for the rest of pregnancy. If my boss is going through HR, then so will I.

redhead610 FX everyone gets some much-needed rest today! Currently waiting at the MFM for my growth sono. MH was βtoo exhaustedβ to come with. π Heβs usually really involved and supportive, but he worked three 14-hour days in a row this week. So while Iβm sure he is indeed exhausted, Iβm also pretty wiped for obvious reasons and didnβt realize how anxious I was about this scan until this morning. Iβm just hoping for good growth and a healthy placenta so that I can put my mind at ease.

notagoddess yes!! Thatβs great and exactly what you need for the rest of this pregnancy! CharlieB fingers crossed for a good scan! MH has been coming to all my appointments too but since I have to come twice a week and he has a busy job he hasnβt been coming to most of them. Itβs definitely nerve wracking to go alone when youβre afraid you might get news you would rather not hear. Hugs!! I had my NST yesterday and it went great. Iβm 1cm dilated and heβs fully dropped. I have appointments Monday and Thursday next week and then induction on February 4th! But my doctor was skeptical I would even make it another week. Fingers crossed! Would much rather little guy come on his own! Iβm only 38 and 2 so Iβm surprised heβs making progress to come on his own but Iβm not complaining!

Oh and my OB thinks baby girl may have flipped! He thought he felt the head when he was checking my cervix. My ultrasound got moved to Thursday next week which will confirm the position. I still think she's breech based on where the kicks are, but now I'm really curious.

redhead610 aww, hope everyone gets well rested without messing up bedtime tonight! CharlieB appointments alone can be hard, having YH there to chatter with really combats the anxiety of it I find. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) We're here with you in spirit! Spent all week dealing with pharmacy and OB about my switch to Heparin tonight. OB forgot about it at my last appt and I had to remind her to send in a script. So it was last minute and needed to be ordered. Then pharmacy had to call her for a syringe script, she didn't bother with that. Then I see she wrote the script for only 25 days (50 doses), which ends 3 days before c section is scheduled. Don't see why I should refill and pay a second copay for 2.5 days when the original could have been up to 30 days. It's such a small tiny little issue and maybe I should let it go and refill later but I'm annoyed at how she's not taking it seriously so I'm bugging them about it this morning still. Doesn't she realize blood thinners are the only difference between my many pregnancy losses and this baby surviving so we can be parents?! I am not messing with it in the last weeks!

Well, not the best news...baby boyβs head and limbs are measuring on track, but his abdomen is only measuring about 32 weeks (<1% when we were at 3% last time). My placenta isnβt looking good at all, but cord flow and fluid levels are still fine. Iβm going to schedule a second BPP for next week to help stay calm (LOLOLOL), probably get steroids from the OB, and plan for induction at 38 weeks. I just need this crappy placenta to hold it together for another week or so.

notagoddess, That's excellent! CharlieB, I'm so sorry your scan didn't go as positively as you wanted it to. Big hugs! sunshiney, Oh, I'd be ticked having to deal with that. Good for you for bugging them about it! redhead610, Is it just a day for sick babes?? My parents kept our kids last night and my mom texted me in the middle of the night saying DS2 was running a fever and DS1 must not have been feeling well either because she didn't take him to school. I'm not looking forward to sick kiddos and baby prep AND work this weekend :/ I hope you get some rest!

So, H and I had a date night last night to see The Sound of Music since my ILs couldn't use their season tickets as they had to go out of town and it was so good! However. RLS kicked in around the hour mark of the first act and it was so hard to focus but H and I wandered around the whole intermission which seemed to help. But A would not stop moving and kicking the entire time. I figure that means she really loved the music or really didn't.
But the real jaw-dropper of the night? An older couple sat behind us discussing how neither had seen the movie and that they were unsure if it was Julie Andrews who starred in it or someone else. Mind. Blown. I would not have expected those comments given their age, I'm not going to lie.

Big hugs CharlieB. My Baby girl's abdomen was measuring at 30w on Monday (they checked it like 10 times). That is good your cord flow and fluid are holding though. I hope you can hold out another week or so! Also from first hand experience don't be afraid to push for as much monitoring as you need to feel comfortable. Trust your instincts. Will be thinking of you and baby.

k, It's one of my favorites! I jumped at the chance when my MIL offered them to us. I didn't even think how uncomfortable it was going to be to have to sit through it, though. Bad planning on my part Lol But how could I say no??

PSA: If you're drinking the raspberry leaf tea, it is way better as iced tea. IMO anyway.

My 4 year old is really curious about where babies come from, how this baby got inside of me, and how itβs going to get out. We bought and have been reading the βitβs not the storkβ book. Just one of the funny comments.. "The baby slides out of your bagina?!" βI thought it came out your belly buttonβ. π

My DS told me at one point he thought the baby would burst out of the front of my belly. Like he thought it was a balloon or something that would just keep getting bigger and bigger til it popped π

Well, my dad took DS2 to the doctor so I wouldn't have to miss work. He had a 105 temp when they got there and got diagnosed with the flu. They kept them there until his temp dropped to 103 and then put in a prescription for Tamiflu. So this weekend will be fun...especially because I have to work so my parents are stuck with a sick kiddo tomorrow, too. Hopefully, it doesn't spread...
