My mil has been asking to go with us to something fun so I'm waiting until the 5 PM showing of the new grinch and we're all going then to dinner. I showed the boys the trailer and they're excited. They're eating lunch now then laying down for naps. I cant keep anything down today and my blood sugar keeps bottoming out. I need to find something I can eat.... trying to talk A into getting me chipotle. Idk if it'll stay down but its the only thing that doesnt make me gag thinking about it. I'm currently hiding in our room because he made them pizza rolls and the smell did me in. Do you have Gatorade? Or Pepsi? I'm drinking coke and water. But when I eat that all comes up. |

I’m on the verge of a full blown panic attack. Apparently when my dh and fil packed up our trailer the door didn’t latch properly. Goodby Christmas presents that just flew out of trailer onto the California freeway.

The tabletop air hockey game has been a HUGE hit here (way to go, Nana and Papa!) I think once we're in our next house we'll spring for an actual AH table if he keeps playing with this one as much. C is all about her Minnie stuff...bedroom slippers, telephone, suitcase and umbrella. The slippers were a last-minute add-on from us; all the other stuff was from my aunt. The M&D pancake-cooking set is also still a hit several days later. I need to look up this tabletop air hockey thing. I think M would love that. I got H one for his birthday, so I'm glad to hear it's a hit! I also got him a few other things including a subscription to the NPR wine club, which is more of a gift to both of us 😉 |

Do you have Gatorade? Or Pepsi? I'm drinking coke and water. But when I eat that all comes up. A friend of mine said her doctor said to down a can of coke followed by a chocolate bar. Wait a few minutes then eat a healthy breakfast. She swears it worked. |

My sister said she used that with her speech therapy patients and it was like the children had found the holy grail every time she brought it out...everyone loved it! I want to look into that, and the M&D cookie-baking set. |

Our little get together was a big success. The almost 3 year olds couldn't be more different, personality wise. The not quite 1 year old is already a seasoned walker, and Colin mostly played on the Kindle. We had the perfect amount of food, plenty of adult beverages, and the husbands always get along so nicely. It just makes me sad that M and her family are in the UK for 2+ more years.

There was a young couple meeting up. The girl had a brand new baby and when the guy showed up I heard the phrase,"oh, he's def. yours" and she handed the baby to him. It became whispered arguing and slowly got louder just before we left.

Everything is cleaned up, another load of Chase's stuffed animals is in the dryer and I am curled up in my Secret Santa throw watching Hallmark movies for at least an hour. Add in no work until Wednesday, and life is good.
