MH decided to clean out the pantry. It’s great and all but, he keeps stopping to watch football.
Shall we place bets on whether there’s still shit all over my kitchen floor at bedtime?

the tree is gone. I'm leaving all the other decorations out for now but it's so nice to have the space back. Funny, I'm the opposite. Tree isn't bothering me yet, but all the other stuff is feeling very cluttered. I think we'll put everything else away tomorrow but leave the tree for a few more days. I think it helps, too, that this year I did my tree in more pastels and less red/green, so somehow it feels wintry and not just Christmas-y? Or something I saw some ornaments at Home Depot in more pastel colors but the price wasn’t right. I forgot to go yesterday to check to see if they went down. I guess I will do that today. I’m looking to replace a good chunk of my ornaments. It’s been a few years and I’m ready for something different.

Sorry about the gathering being cancelled. inthekitty CF sounds delicious though. Wish I had one closer. I haven’t done much organizing yet, but laundry is half done and I managed to put a Boston butt in the IP so I can shred and freeze for meals later. I’m losing motivation. Maybe after a good meal I will have more energy.

I need to do that tgrimes. Our pantry is very deep so stuff gets shoved to the back and disappears forever.

Happy weekend! Kids are napping (Gabe doesn’t nap every day but will always take quiet time in his room) and I’m going to run out soon for some errands. I am also going to try jogging outside. I recently lost about 40 pounds on a very low calorie diet (medically monitored) and with that loss jogging has become quite a bit easier. I am still slow but better than before! We are likely headed to the mall later, wondering if there will be any decent sales but would like to get out of the house for a bit regardless. Have a great Saturday!

Good luck with that tgrimes. My husband would never take that initiative, especially not while he was watching football.

I took S on a date today. Really we just went out to lunch and did errands while MH stayed home with a napping B. But we had fun. He’s a good shopping buddy, and we rarely get to do errands just the 2 of us.

I woke up with yet another migraine. IDK what the deal is. A is pumping out our cistern and refilling it. We have to have city water in it for inspection and we use well water. We have the water truck parked at A's dad's shop with a water hose in it getting filled so we don't have to pay for it lol. Sorry about the migraine. I always get persistent headaches when I’m pregnant so I’m sure it’s a hormonal thing. When are we moving in to your new house? Not sure. We have to have final grade and the constant rain is not helping at all.

Hi karadee!! We are still in Cali and haven’t decided if we are leaving today or tomorrow. I forgot my anti anxiety medicine and thought I would be fine, but anxiety hit me like a ton of bricks last night. Then I started my second pp period. Not fun. I called the answering service at my doctors office twice today to see if they would call in a three day script for me and they never called back, so I’m super annoyed.

Popping my head up from the massive amounts of organizing I've been doing to wave hello. The basement is 80% done and all the Christmas toys have a home! Huzzah!
H is currently finishing my "mudroom" closet and could not be happier to put my entryway back together. I may need your guys opinions on some baskets for the shelves. I have been spiraling of course, but what else is new?
FX he finishes up in the next hour before we go to some friends for a gtg. This group all work at a local physics lab, so while the conversation is typically way over my head, the food samplings from all the different cultures is my fav!

xolastunicornxo I started my second PPP too. The first one was before Thanksgiving, but then the baby started waking up again during the night and it stopped. Solidarity, sister. I hope you feel some relief from that and the anxiety soon.

You guys know I love dogs but why on earth does everyone have to bring their dogs everywhere? We are at yet another holiday dinner at my MILs and two of her sisters brought their dogs. One is fine. The other isn’t used to being around small children and other dogs and she has snapped at my MILs dying dog twice (who’s too dumb to leave her along). The kids also started playing tug with her and while I don’t think it was intentional she almost bit their hands. My aunt in law is totally ignoring it so I look like a mad woman trying to stop the kids from playing tug. So frustrating.

I’m sorry xolastunicornxo. I don’t know what med you are on but I have been on some that if I don’t take it for two days I am a total mess. I would keep trying your Dr. that is bullshit that they haven’t called you back. Such a simple request too.

If I was somewhere local and had a dog there is no way I’d bring it with.

Unicorn, oh no! I don't think I knew you were on anxiety medication and I'm so annoyed at your dr for not calling back. It would definitely add so much to my anxiety just knowing I wasn't taking my meds.

Our dog is super sweet and people love him, but a total food stealer (and will run away), so we aren't bringing him to parties.

We had a great day date. We were at dinner and got a text that the kids wanted to come home instead of staying overnight at the in-laws. Bummer!!!! MH is going to get them now.

Now Chase keeps singing "no more llama drama" over and over. He's so funny.

Both kids in bed. Charlie cried for the last hour (like he was a newborn). He feels awful and has those sick eyes. Once the Benadryl and Motrin set in, he calmed down some. I just mopped the kitchen floor and am letting a pint of ice cream soften to eat while we watch Netflix.

We were playing baseball and I threw a terrible pitch. Chase said - completely exasperatedly - "cheese Louise, mama".
I need to start writing this down.

I finally got the email with my pics! I guess I just needed to complain about it for it to come. Lots of good ones and quite a few that make me look big, but oh well.

We bowled and ran errand so we didn’t get home until after 3. Both kids were exhausted so they went down for a nap (as did I, N laid with me) we all woke up after 5. Oops! I don’t think anyone will be going to bed at a normal time tonight.

Just got back from my mom's. I love hanging with my brothers, I wish it happened more often. Now we're eating pizza and I'm ready for bed.
