A few weeks ago, I peed myself at Zumba. Not a tinkle. A flood.

But that’s not the confession: I bought one of those jade vagina eggs and Dog help me, I’m afraid i’m going to turn into Gwyneth Paltrow.

Oh my cagoldi. Does it have a string or something attached to it? I'd be afraid of having trouble getting it out. Or I guess I jade egg would be heavy and you'd have to have the vaginal walls of Wonder Woman to hold it in. Was it a Goop approved one?

My cup managed to invert itself the other week and I had a mini panic attack trying to get it out.

I will have to google jade vagina eggs. I have a jade face/neck roller and I love it. I force mh to use it too (along with my vit c serum)

You can get them drilled with a hole for string, and that’s what I chose to do. It doesn’t feel heavy. I did not consult GOOP.

You’re a better woman than me; I managed to injure myself with a cup and decided they aren’t for me.

Yea, quite often. And especially N13 cause of the whole going to N14 with gifs of advice. Years later I STILL dont get it and am very puzzled why it was/is looked down upon ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. If anyone knows, LMK, it would definitely empty some space in my head that’s been lingering.

It was customary for the BMBs to welcome the next year. We took it a step further with gifs and a lot of the participants were part of the BLADS group (as was I) and got into a lot of board fights so when Parenting caught wind of our advice a fight ensued. I wasn’t to involved in the fights but some of the previous N13s were really horrible with their words so it gave us a bad rap. I remember two in particular that were just horrible. From there N13 was forever tainted. Which is kind of hilarious since we are the longest running BMB.

I think that sums it up cagoldi could probably fill in the gaps as could inthekitty.

OMG the BLADS timeframe, what a nightmare. There were a couple posters that I wasn’t fond of at all and were downright nasty. The narcissism was strong in some of them.

I was a very sporadic poster during that time, so I didn’t really follow any of that, nor did/do I really understand the ‘mean girl’ thing. Like, to what end? Why were they mean? And you guys are all so awesome, I know many of you were around then, how did you survive and get so close with that kind of vibe?

Also, I now lurk gd sometimes and see them rag on the bmbs, and specifically n13 and I feel super offended as well, even though I wssnt around then!

I didn't think the welcome N14 thread was that awful either. Cheesy, yes, but not board fight worthy.

The big issue stemmed from a poster named something like Alexis (I think) who started this crazy fucking post attacking...damn her name is escaping me. I can picture her kiddos. Then one who liked Juicy Couture. She had a boy and later a little girl. It was a straight up nutter post. I can't remember exactly what about. But after that Juicy was invited to GD with open arms and everyone thought Alexis and AmberJaaaade were crazy (and they were).

I remember I mostly ignored them but once I couldn't help myself when Alexis started randomly ranting about universal healthcare. I basically said of all the things to bitch about can we let healthcare for all go and LJGS joined in.

I was around lurking during that time but was still very new to the whole internet board thing and didn’t follow closely in every thread or pay attention to who was who and whatnot. I had no clue that our board was tainted by an incident. Funny because I think we are pretty mild.

Every now and then, when I have a few extra minutes, I go into GD to see what I’m missing. Like tonight, that Fffc killed me dead.

I agree though that the BMB hate is overdone. The initial life of the boards is ... something else. It's the same dynamic across all boards where you have the ones who try to assert dominance and make petty rules, but eventually people chill out and the true crazies leave. Our group is awesome and I have no doubt we'll hold strong long past our kiddos are into adulthood.

I'm still in a FB group with my O11 ladies and we are rarely active although it's been neat seeing the kiddos grow. I love what we have here.

Alexis came back later incognito to everyone but a few regs that were her fb friends. She was run off for saying something especially bad (although I can’t remember what for sure). The other girl was eandimommy. She usually shows up after she’s mentioned (at least she randomly did on TCF). I wasn’t active during the board war with parenting but I was a hardcore lurker. From what I remember/understood at the time is that the N13 group did it as a lighthearted gesture to welcome the new pregs and parenting thought it was dumb and that the N13ers were being “know-it-alls” because they had babies a year before in the same month. It was dumb.

I don't read these threads on GD. How do they call us out? This just seems weird since we have been pretty active. Is it just the memory of the BLADS? This seems like a really long grudge.

None of us now were even the BLADS. Except for Cher, Wedding, and Joelies but you guys weren’t the mean kind. I don’t get why “we” would be made fun of over in GD.
