E hasn’t sept well the last 3 nights, which means I haven’t slept well. Last night/this morning I moved us down to the living room so C can sleep. Plus she could be in her swing to play and when she fell asleep I would be okay with her sleeping in that swing. I got a little more rest cause I can sleep through happy any noises.
Nothing planned yet today. I want to send my parents to the science museum so they can see the king tut exhibit but my dad hasn’t been feeling up to that drive.

DH is at work for a half day; I have a couple errands to run but I'm waiting for him to get him so I don't have to drag the kids out in rainy weather.
This weekend (probably starting today) I am embarking on my annual post-Christmas purge; I get so antsy after the holidays and just want to get rid of all the things. I need to make a list so I do it methodically and not at random. I'll probably wait to do the kids' toys til next week once they're back at school; B is reasonable but I can just hear C: "I do it" and "no no no no no".

Should be a quiet day here. X and A are at DC and then they have a four day weekend.
Miss P has a stomach bug so we’re keeping an eye on things. Hopefully the worst of it is over.

cagoldi I hope Miss P is on the up and up. chrisy01 I hope E sleeps for you tonight! I'm working today but practically no one is here. Our system was down so I need to catch up on a few short assignments, but once I do that I'll have completed all of my work and plan to watch Netflix the rest of the day. #modelemployee

Oh, and add me to the list of getting twitchy about too much crap in the house. I plan to go through everything of the girls'. Clothes, toys. Purge alert. I might have MH take them to the children's museum or something because it'll be easier if they're not here. I finally replaced most of Maddie's high waters but the too-short pants are still lurking in her dresser.

Josie’s cough is subsiding, lingering some, but better. She wants to go bowling, but I think it’d be better if she rested another day.

Morning. Dh is off today and we took the kids to daycare. We planned a date day into the cities to try out top golf. We’re on our way now but the roads are terrible... I’m not sure if we should keep going or turn around. We fishtailed once and so did the vehicle in front of us. Eeek.

slenle, I vote turn around, pick up some fun food and snuggle on the couch watching netflix. Awesome day date, and you don't have to worry about getting in an accident or getting stuck and not getting back to DC on time!

Work again. Last Friday and it’s being good to us. Another early day. Should be off before 3. Not sure what I plan to do yet. Maybe a late lunch all by myself.

Guess we’ll need to find something to do for an hour Hopefully if you get there right when they open you'll be fine. Our problem was always that we were trying to go when everyone else was (weekend or evening). I'd think a weekday would be more doable, even if it is the holidays  |

Cadence got her new braces this morning. She can wear her regular shoes with them, but her regular shoes are needing an upgrade. I tried finding some this morning after I dropped her off at school, but couldn't. I'll head to a different Target before I pick her up to see if their selection is any better.
Her weekend hightops will hopefully arrive soon as well.

I’m doing some laundry and purging today before the kids come home. MH is off but he’s at the DMV because his license expired on his birthday. He decided not to listen to me about going before it expired or on the day he took off with M. So he’s been in line since 7:30 this morning. The line is slowly moving & he’s now in doors to get a #. SMH.

Woof.
Miss P isn’t doing so hot. Her little bottom is bright red and raised. She pooped thirteen times yesterday and six so far this morning.
I mixed up some of the magical rash cream and I’m hoping that helps a bit.
As long as she’s staying hydrated, I don’t think the pedi will do anything for her at this point.

Hey! We had friends over this morning to play. H is very whiny and crabby so she’ll be taking a nap shortly along with S when they are done eating. Nothing really planned for the rest of the day, although I’d like to get to the grocery store this afternoon or evening. cagoldi poor baby. I hope she’s feeling better soon. |

It's quiet in my house! Dad's gf talks on speaker or on her phone all day freaking long! They leave tonight but they just took E out ice skating. They are such a weird couple. She didn't hours trying to get a hotel booked for us through their time share. I could have done it in 5 min online and not missed a bunch of family time. Then they decided to change a trip they have planned with friends and make it 3weeks earlier. Complete with booking hotel and air before connecting other friends. And my dad spent an hour trying to figure out his super expensive drone but the winds are strong and he can't fly it. Just be present!
