H already left for the rest of the week for work. Ive been awake since his alarm went off so Im up having a cup of coffee by myself. I made a list of everything I want/need to get done today or where I want to go. We will see how much happens.

I have to go to the bank to have something notarized and then the post office to mail it out. Otherwise, I want nothing but comfy clothes and the couch.
I’m thinking about getting some of the decorations down, but it’s requires so much.

Morning! For us it’s still Christmas, the second day of Christmas (not just in the nam household, but nationwide day off). In about three hours I’ll host 20 people 😱.
I think I told you guys my instax camera broke last week, well Dh had to go to the hardware store to pick up some wood and came home with a new one!!! He’s starting to get the grovelling 😉. Anybody I’m so happy! He’s a sweetheart, but a surprise gift almost never happens, I love it!

My kid won't get up for school and the cat has decided the Christmas decor should come down now. Here I thought I was done hearing ornaments hit the floor.

And I promise I'm not a horrible parent for making her go to school. They made us pay for the whole week even though they were closed, so any day they are actually open I'm making her go so I get my money's worth!

Morning!
I just got up around 8:30 (bless DH for keeping the kids at bay), we went to bed on the early side but I was worn out I guess.
The kids are playing with their new stuff; my parents gave B a tabletop air hockey game so he is challenging us all to play (and legit beating us).
Not sure what’s on the agenda today, maybe a walk and probably lunch out. BIL is on call so my sister will probably bring my nephew over to hang out.

We are home after a fun few days in Chicago and MIL for xmas celebrations. MH got hit with stomach bug on xmas eve and was in quarantine during our cousin party. No one else has had it yet, fx. My dad and gf are here until Sunday night. We had hoped they would stay looking enough for us to get a night at a hotel but at least they finally bought a return ticket.
I hope everyone has a relaxing day today and the kids are occupied with new toys.

Morning! The boys are destroying the house and playing, Chase has already pooped his pants, and DH is grumpy. Yay. No amount of coffee and egg nog is going to do it, haha.
I took the day off so the kids could play, plus we're allegedly meeting up with DH's friend's family at the trampoline park later. The house is a wreck but I'm only working Thursday and Friday before the New Year, so I'll worry about the mess on New Year's day. I have big plans of getting rid of the tree and a whole bunch of old toys. Can't. Wait.

I am actually at work today, but MH is home, he has work to do but this is the VERY slow time of year for him, so he has very little work to do. I took both boys to DC today. S class is 20 kids, he was 1 of 3 kids there when I dropped off (he is usually one of the last there so I doubt anyone else will show up. B was 1 of 4 kids. I think the whole day care, which has about 85 kids enrolled, had less than 15 kids attending today. I felt guilty for about 2 minutes then stopped. |

Yesterday was fun. My parents came over to watch B late morning and we took S to see the new Grinch movie (he LOVED it), then we hung out around the house for a bit before going to my BFF's for Christmas dinner. I've been spending Christmas with her since we were teenagers and I love that now our kids are spending it together. It was a fun night, but we got home a bit late, and the kids were exhausted. S woke up regular time asking to play with the new tablet he got, but B did not want to get out of bed! Everyone is finally up and out, and as I mentioned, they have run of the DC, so hopefully it will be a fun day for them.
Sounds like everyone had a successful, fun Christmas!

I just dropped the kids off at daycare and am home on the couch. Dh is at work. No shame here @klongoria!
I’m giving myself 2 hours of being lazy then I’m going to try and be productive... Workout, cleanup Christmas mess and organize toys.
Af showed up last night so we’ll see how much actually gets done. Confession: I had to sneak out to the only open store yesterday for a pregnancy test. Af usually shows up at 31-34 days. Yesterday was 35 so i was kinda freaking out. But I figured if I was KU, finding out on Christmas would be fun.

Morning Ladies and a belated Merry Christmas! Yesterday was a whirlwind, so I did not get a chance to check in. We had a great morning with presents and breakfast at home and then zipped off to the resort, had dinner (not Denny's) and then spent the rest of the evening in the pool watching Home Alone.
My kid's are already down at the pool again with FIL, so I am taking my time getting ready. Lots of activities on the agenda, so I should prob roll out of bed now. Le Sigh.

I'm now back in bed watching Netflix and drinking Starbucks. Mh is still asleep. Cadence was 1 of 5 kids at dropoff, but 1 of them was her best friend, so I stopped feeling guilty.
My says he is going to take the tree down today. The cats broke yet another ornament, so I'm ready for it to be down.

klong11 same thing with DC here. C is there and Dh and I are off. We all need a break from each other and C needs the structure. Today was supposed to be a day to be alone and recover from festivities. Well Dh took today off and is driving me nuts. I am now shut in my bedroom. He really doesn’t understand that I’m an introvert and need time alone to recharge. Tonight we are having dinner at my parents because my nephews will be there and C can play with them. Then back to work tomorrow for two days until another four day weekend.

Also I am a bit mad at Max’s vet. His phosphorus levels are too high so she started him on a binder that we mix with his wet food. Well a side effect is constipation which is something we are always fighting. I noticed he wasn’t pooping much and googled and saw it listed. I emailed his vet and she said she hadn’t known it was a side effect but confirmed it is. She wants us to increase his laxative but he hates it. So now we have quit the powder until he poops and gets regular again.
I just feel like she should have known it was a side effect especially since we have been fighting constipation for over a year. I know he needs to be put down soon but I really don’t want to be forced to do it because he’s backed up.

I’m home alone because i have work to do and MH took the kids into the city to a museum.
I’m supposed to be working from home today and Friday then tomorrow i actually have to go in. I have a shit ton of work to do before we leave on our trip to Costa Rica onJan 15th. So this isn’t that breezy of a WFH day.

Morning lovelies! I don’t think I checked in yesterday, but we had a wonderful Christmas!
We are now on the road to California. We’re bringing our camper trailer because my in-laws house is stuffed to the brim, so some of the kids are going to sleep in it. It’s going to be crazy, it’s my fil, mil, sil, bil, bil’s gf, dh’s two aunts, and dh’s two cousins, their spouses, and their children! And we’re arriving with four kids and a dog, lol. It should be fun, but chaotic.

Hi! After dropping off M2 I made a Target and Home Depot run. Now home to finish painting M2’s room - never did the ceiling. After that I’m hoping to run to the gym. I have a list of other stuff to do, but we’ll see if I have time before getting M2. I may send Mh and M out to grocery shop and get M2 so I can have at least and hour alone to lounge around.

I say I kept the boys home to play, but let's be honest - I pay by the hour for Colin to go on non-school days. If I didn't, that would probably change things. Haha.
That said, they've been playing relatively independently today.

Mh woke up and wanted to take the tree down. I said the room needed to be cleaned up first. Then he started asking a bunch of questions and being annoying, so I too am locked up in my room. Give me peace and quiet! wedding |
