Yikes snuff9861, that would annoy me too, but I'm all about running cars into the ground haha. Mine is only ten years old. Repairs are still way cheaper at this point than a car payment. DD is slowly getting better. I got out for brunch with a few friends this morning. Tonight we're going for an early dinner at my parents with my cousin's family, so it'll be nice to see them. What's in the crockpot jules1614? I think tomorrow night I'm going to do a beef ragu in mine since I have a roast in the freezer.

I’m ragey. DH apparently went and bought a new truck yesterday. We’ve had our current one for like 2 years. Granted it’s $12 more a month then what we pay now, for 2 MORE years but without even asking me 👹. So to retaliate I bought myself a new phone and booked myself in for a tattoo. It’s not 40k but I feel better. oh wow. Not cool mr snuff

The 55 week leap/sleep regression is going to be the end of me. Anyone else? He's also cutting teeth so I'm playing the guessing game of "teeth or separation anxiety". Do you have a December baby? If so, then yes, we experienced this last month (early November baby here). It lasted a full month and was awful. I have no idea how old my baby is in weeks, lol. Almost 14 months so 14x4.5ish is... 58 weeks minus like 6 weeks is when it started happening. Yeah that makes sense. I think I used some common core math to get there. 🤣

It snowed today and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get the boys to MIL's, but the roads weren't as bad as anticipated. The snow is so fluffy and almost looks fake, like movie snow. DS3 managed to step into the deepest drifts everywhere today, then got sad the snow followed him into the van and his car seat. Kids are funny. Now I'm enjoying the Sex in the City marathon, I think I catch it every year. So we are switching between HP & SITC for the end of 2018. 😂 I was looking for a new coffeemaker too. I do not want a pod one, and be able to make big cups of coffee at once. Anyone have one they love that isn't $$$? Was it quinn & thatgolfb who got Ninjas? Was it the super fancy one? We have the Ninja with a milk frother and glass carafe. I love it so much. I wouldn’t say it is super fancy, and we got it at Costco for under $100 last year. It does everything I need it to do!

I have had a bit of wine and we are watching Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. This is such an excellent show. We have had a lovely, pretty lazy day. I really really needed it!

clucky we have a ninja coffee maker and I love it! The only problem is that we have hard water, so it was asking to be cleaned every 5-7 days. That was super annoying but we switched to using distilled/bottled water and haven’t had a problem since. It’s a pain to buy gallons of water just to use for coffee but meh. The regular coffee it makes is great and I love making a travel sized mug of iced coffee for just myself. We don’t use the “specialty brew” (aka espresso-like coffee) much but it’s a fun option. Oh yeah the cleaning, that’s true. I think ours goes off every 3-4 weeks. But it is pretty easy to clean, I just let it cycle with white vinegar and water.

Yeah the actual cleaning process isn’t difficult, it was just annoying to have to do it so often. And we even used the water from our fridge that went through a filter, but we get calcium build up on our showers/sinks really easily so I know it’s just a hard water issue. Ever since we switched to using bottled water it goes 4-6 weeks without asking to be cleaned.

We are rearranging the living room and I'm overwhelmed by having a giant space over the fireplace - TV was there due to proximity to the cable outlet, but unplugged and it can move! I may even finally be able to paint that wall. So last night I was searching for mirrors on FB. Now I can put up family and school photos.
I told H I want to be "ready to show/sell" all the time, it is the best we kept our last house. Plus I need to make sure these boys see the rest clean and can help keep their spaces clean too.
Also starting to think I need to take A in to see about this cold, I think it is a cold. I need him back in his crib and him waking up coughing isn't helping anyone.

He was 55 wks the Sunday before Christmas. FFSC I put his weeks on our calendar so I can follow leaps. Last night he slept 11:30-6:30....in our bed. 😴😴

H drives a 2004 Corolla (with under 100k miles) and plans on keeping it another 10 years. We are thinking about upgrading my 2009 focus at the end of 2019, mostly so we can have a bigger vehicle before car seat #2.

Our nasty cough ended up being a double ear infection so I would take him in just in case. On the flip side, my niece has had a cough x3 weeks and it's nothing but viral.

We are on our way to take dd ice skating. She’s dozing off on the drive. I’ve still got to buy another suitcase to pack with tonight. Yesterday we drove to a big city to target to return the big items and already reordered. I can’t believe we already fly home tomorrow.

A has started to drink from the "release hole?" in his sippy cup lid. It is so funny and cute to watch.

Dh took the boys over to a neighbor's house to play while I cleaned the house. 🙌 I feel so much better. My one boob is very resistant to ds2 nursing a little less. I keep getting a clogged duct in the same spot. Ds2 grabbed ds1's milk cup yesterday and loved it. So we are giving him cow's milk now with food.
Ds1 was doing so well today until dh got distracted and didn't give him lunch on time. His behavior is much better when he has a full belly. I actually kept a time and food log today to see if I noticed anything. I didn't let him graze like dh will. And he was fine with that. 🤷 He picked what we are having for dinner so fingers crossed he eats it lol.

Did not plan dinner, ran to the local store and grabbed way too many pizzas for $1.88 to ensure we have enough "crap, we didn't start dinner" nights. Pizza for everyone!

We also took down Christmas today. Tomorrow is DH’s birthday, so I like having that done before we celebrate him. I also just bought a chair since the living room needs more furniture now that the tree is gone. We rearranged several rooms last weekend in order to make a playroom (with doors that contain the noise/mess 🙌🏻), so we’re still figuring out what works.
The girls are walking so much now, and it’s the best to see two little people toddling towards you with their arms wide open!

I would like to take down Christmas today. It has to be today or tomorrow because then I go back to work. H has some weird limbo time off between jobs this week, so maybe I'll leave it for him. He's left me a very disproportionate amount of house work and parenting lately while he has the never ending man flu, so maybe it's only fair.
