Well, I’m less mad at my boss today. And going to toot my own horn for a minute.. He called me (on my day off) to tell me he talked to my customer (who was frustrated with some of my boss’s requests after i closed the deal) and my customer sang praises about me and how they only chose to go with our company because of my responsiveness and friendliness. So my boss called to congratulate me, which always feels good even tho he’s still a sleezeball 😜

I got a prop ring for my SIL bachelorette. It arrived today, so too late and I put it on. I sorta love it 🤫.

Between binging Fuller House last weekend, just finishing A Shoe Addicts Christmas and now A Christmas Detour, I feel like Candace Cameron Bure is right here in my living room. Switched for Christmas, too? Oh yes, I watched that one a couple weeks ago. That was, by far, the best of the 3. |

I was the parent helper for Dude’s Christmas party this morning and the kids were adorable. The little girls kept playing with my hair. So cute.
Then I headed to the doctor because I’ve been feeling run down. Walking pneumonia. Yay! At least I can start ABX tonight and hopefully feel decent for Christmas. My next infusion is on the 27th and that should help, too.

tallb the weather here is terrible, too. It's been raining almost non-stop since sometime overnight and the wind is picking up as I type. After chasing down the mailman, I started working on a batch of chicken & wild rice casserole, which is labor intensive but delicious. It makes enough for two big baking pans, so I froze one and have the other one ready to go for dinner tonight/tmrw. All the laundry is done for the trip so now I just need to get myself and the kids packed. DH and I are assembling the toy kitchen tomorrow night once the kids are in bed--we're leaving early Saturday so we'll just carry them out to the car thru the front room and they'll be none the wiser of what's waiting by the fireplace

chrisy01 If I go somewhere with my mom, I drive. Even her car. She's a terrible driver and it makes me crazy. The last time I rode with her driving was when I had Lasik. Even after a valium, her driving made me want to jump out of a (slowly) moving vehicle.

She’s not a bad driver in the sense of accidents or anything, she’s just sooooo slow. |

flamingo Do you speak to your mail carrier regularly? It has never crossed my mind to give them a Christmas gift. I also didn't give Evie's teacher a Christmas present, although she clearly deserves a strong drink with my kid.

No, I don't speak with him regularly, but no matter where we've lived I've always given the mailman some cash in a card at Christmas. My parents did/do, too. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or not but we've always had very good mail service  |

We also give our mailman, garbage men, and recycling money. I think the mailman especially deserves it because he trudges through the snow and rain. He rarely gets a day off.
