I haven't done questions in a few months because I've been insanely busy but I want to hear about our little ones.
Birthday: August 25
Size diaper: Still Size 3....we will be forever size 3
Size clothes: 12 months. Occasionally 12-18 months
Size shoes: size 4
What words does toddler say? mama, dada, baba, more, Elmo (he says em), hey
Favorite foods? noodles, chicken nuggets, tofu, and yogurt melts
Least favorite foods? green beans, broccoli,
Is toddler totally finished with bottles? Nope. Still doing a nighttime bottle but we've gotten rid of any bottles during the day and just do sippy cups.
How is nighttime sleep? How long does toddler sleep? It's better. He sleeps 10 hours, sometimes 10.5 which is really good for him. He still wakes up once to eat but goes right back to sleep after he gets some milk. We were having several nights a week of STTN but that hasn't been since Thanksgiving.
What time is toddlers bedtime? Between 7:30-8:00
How are naps? How many naps and for how long? Naps have been pretty good since we've moved back his 1 nap. He takes 1 a day. He goes down anytime between 12:30-2. He sleeps for 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
Favorite toys: His musical train, his puzzle, MegaBloks, his VTech Dumptruck.
Favorite books: Baby Talk, Little Blue Truck Halloween, Chica Chica Boom Boom, Happy Birthday Book
Do you let your child watch TV/videos/etc? If so, which ones? He is able to watch 10 minutes of videos on the iPad per day....if he's having a really bad day then we let him watch 15 minutes but that is my max. He also only watches in 5 minute intervals. He watches Vids4Kids on YouTube.
Does your child use a binky? Yes. Always while sleeping. We are getting it away more during the day. I try to make sure he doesn't have it much at home and the doctor says he's fine to sleep with it until 2 but we still give it in car and when we are out.
Does your child sleep with a toy/stuffed animal/etc? Yes he sleeps with Apple Park Farm Buddy Super Go-T. He takes that thing everywhere. I bought him another one, Kozy Koala, for Christmas so we can hopefully rotate them. He also has the seahorse that lights up and plays music but that always stays in the crib.
Can your child feed themselves with a spoon/fork? He trys. He picks up food with his fingers, puts it on the spoon, then feeds himself. He tries stabbing with a fork but itsn't very good.
Milestones or new things toddler is doing? I guess he's running now and he mostly just walks. He rarely crawls. He likes to build with his blocks and can stack 4 blocks and can finally put some of his MegaBlok pieces together. He does a lot of pretend play. Like he brushes his hair, brushes my hair, takes toilet paper and "cleans" the walls, he now does this thing where he grabs his wrist with his opposite hand and holds it. I had no clue what that was until I saw DH do it....he's checking his Apple Watch and J mimics him. Too funny.
What are you most looking forward to doing with your child this Christmas? We took him to a Christmas tree lighting and to breakfast with the elves. We went to the model traain display this weekend and that was fun.
What are you most looking forward to this Christmas? Seeing him open presents. He loves tearing the paper.
What are you dreading this holiday season? The stress. I'm already stressed out..
Where are you celebrating the holiday? At my brother's house.
Any developmental concerns? I worry about his speech sometimes but he does babble a lot and seems to understand a lot.
Any questions? How do you get your kids to eat vegetables? I struggle with this the most.
MOM QUESTIONS:
What are you doing these days to de-stress? Nothing and it's stressing me out LOL. Prior to December I was trying to read in bed for 15 minutes every night and just have a little me time after J goes to bed each night. I'm hoping to start that again after Christmas.
What TV shows are you watching? Holiday Baking Championship, Difficult People on hulu, Family Feud (because it's on at night and mindless), reruns of Big Bang Theory.
Have you read any good books lately? I'm listening to an In Death book on CD in my car. It's my favorite series and it's a nice 15 minute drive to and from work every day listening to it.
Are you doing anything for New Year's Eve? i'm not sure yet. I totally just did a blog post on celebrating with toddler's yet I don't know what we are doing yet. Probably just getting some champagne, having some appetizers, and chilling at home.

Thanks for doing this! king26 Its nice to check in about our toddlers Birthday: 8/14 Size diaper: Still in 3's too! I thought we were moving to 4's but then we stuck with 3's. Chica is petite, I think D1 was in 5's by this point. Size clothes: 12-18 months typically, some 18/24 month Size shoes: 5 What words does toddler say? Hi, bye, D1's name, milk, ball, mama and dada sporadically Favorite foods? Still a really good eater. Chicken, scrambled eggs, cheese, yogurt, any fruit, broccoli Least favorite foods? chick peas, lol. I can't think of much else off the top right now. Is toddler totally finished with bottles? Yes, surprisingly was an easy transition. How is nighttime sleep? How long does toddler sleep? :dares to say out loud: STTN consistently for the last couple of months. Hoping it continues! She sleeps about 10-10.5 hours a night, sometimes longer. What time is toddlers bedtime? 8:00 How are naps? How many naps and for how long? Some days shorter than others. 1 nap a day anywhere from 1 - 2 hours Favorite toys: Play kitchen accessories, baby dolls, things that play music. Favorite books: Pat the bunny, any board books with flaps that open Do you let your child watch TV/videos/etc? If so, which ones? Sometimes she looks at Mickey or something if D1 has it on but doesn't seem all that interested yet. Does your child use a binky? No, neither of my kids did which is a blessing and a curse I think. Does your child sleep with a toy/stuffed animal/etc? Yes, a stuffed dog. Sometimes if she wakes, I see her grab and hug it which is cute. Can your child feed themselves with a spoon/fork? Eh a little with a spoon if I load it and hand it to her. I need to start trying more with fork and stuff but ugh to the mess. Milestones or new things toddler is doing? Climbing everything in sight. She is so quick and stealth! Its frightening sometimes. She tries to put her shoes on, lol. She walks around with one of sis's boots too. Haha. Sometimes when you pick her up, she starts patting your back like a hug. Too cute! What are you most looking forward to doing with your child this Christmas? We did the Santa visit and she did fine. She mostly looked like a deer in headlights but didn't cry. What are you most looking forward to this Christmas? I'm looking forward to seeing her around all the cousins and what she makes of all the commotion and presents. Also seeing my two girls together Christmas morning excited and playing and unwrapping everything. What are you dreading this holiday season? We will have a late Christmas eve so not sure how she will do with that but meh, its only 1 night. I'm worried about having to watch her like a hawk though that night at MH"s grandmother's house which won't be baby proofed. She is into EVERYTHING. Where are you celebrating the holiday? Christmas eve at MH's grandmother's house and Christmas day at home with my family coming over. Any developmental concerns? Speech although it seems to have picked up a little so now I'm back on the fence about calling to discuss it per the pedi's recommendation. Any questions? Anyone's kiddos still so damn clingy? She wants to be carried around the house still all the time and its killing my back and frigin exhausting. I love you too kid but Christ, simmer down. Not looking forward to the next leap starting in like 8 days. MOM QUESTIONS: What are you doing these days to de-stress? De-stress? What is that?? NOT MUCH. I need to make some changes in the New Year for ME. What TV shows are you watching? Nothing, I need to get into a new Netflix series or something. Have you read any good books lately? I literally haven't finished a book since my first was born in 2014. That is so horrible because I used to love to read! I need to pick it back up again. Are you doing anything for New Year's Eve? Unsure right now. Probably get takeout or something with my in-laws then just hang with hubby at home.

As far as veggies king26, I would say just keep trying and offering a variety. Hopefully something sticks. Since your a cook, can you make things and sneak veggies in? Will he do anything like a smoothie where you could sneak spinach in there?

jt2378, A is sooooo clingy still. He’s going thru that leap right now as well, so it’s even worse. I usually can not even go to the bathroom without him coming in and whining for me.

For some reason I can't see the questions when I paste them so I have done my best to remember the main ones:
Bday 7/27
Diaper size 5 Clothes 12-18 months and some 9 month pants because he has short legs!
Words not many, he says car and go all day. He is obsessed with cars. He has a word for milk and says maybe ten other things randomly including the 🐈 name but nothing else. He is super chatty but all babbling.
