For anyone who wants to make sprouts, you should try this recipe: link It's fairly rich - heavy cream say what - but so tasty and a good hearty wintery indulgence. Holy cow. 3 cups of heavy cream.

I would totally try that elle but the simple brussel sprouts recipe I'm doing is the easiest thing I have and I don't wanna make it more complicated lol. I will definitely add it to my list for next time though!

My stomach would destroy me if I ate brussel sprouts with three cups of cream. This is a new thing and I’m not happy about it. I can have maybe a quarter of a cup of them before my belly says lol, FU.

Omg that looks good!!! I just sent it to our Admin. He makes homemade biscuits that are to die for and I bet he’d make this recipe into something straight from heaven. H can’t have biscuits and M can’t have the rest of it so I don’t want to left alone with something like that. Because it would get eaten. Probably without a single regret. I got all the ingredients for your quiche yesterday!! Can’t wait to try it. I think I might prep and cook the veggies Christmas Eve so that I just have to mix the liquids and pop it in the oven Christmas morning.

I finally looked at the recipe and the biggest thing standing out to me is the bacon and shallots. My H would love it. I might attempt to make a healthy version of this. I’m getting decent at making non dairy subs so that it’s M safe and while there’s absolutely no replacement for that much heavy cream, I think it could still be amazing. Hopefully I’ll be brave enough to eat them again soon. 🤞🏻
