Weeks pregnant: 30w2d
Baby is the size of a: Cabbage
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Pink
Appointments: Not until Jan 3rd
Symptoms: Heartburn, nausea is back coming and going, aches and pains, breathlessness, peeing all the time
Milestones: Down to single digits!
Rants/Raves/Vents: I need to eat better. I'm using the holidays and pregnancy as an excuse to eat more than I need to, and it's showing in my rate of gain. Sigh.
QOTW: What would your perfect weekend look like (with or without kids—you choose!)? I'd kill for a simple, quiet weekend at home. Maybe a nice dinner out. The rest of the time I'd spend lounging and organizing.

I ate a chocolate chip cookie dipped in whipped cream as part of my breakfast FFS. So yeah, after gaining almost nothing this entire pregnancy, I seem to be in overdrive now 😬

Weeks pregnant: 34 + 3
Baby is the size of a: basketball hoop/butternut squash
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: green, and getting sooo excited to find out soon!
Appointments: NST and OB visit today. I’ll have thr 2yo with me for the appointment (not the NST thankfully) so that should be interesting.
Symptoms: heartburn, low back pain and some sciatica, exhaustion, lots of discomfort during baby’s super active periods.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I need to get some exercise. I’ve been good about drinking my RRL tea but slacking on kegels, hip openers, etc. I would love to walk in the evenings after the kids go to bed but MH is never home so that’s out. I could do a prenatal yoga DVD or a YouTube exercise video but for some reason that is so much less appealing to me than a walk would be and I can’t get motivated to do anything besides relax on the couch at night.
QOTW: What would your perfect weekend look like (with or without kids—you choose!)? With kids: spent at home, with a fun activity for all of us in the morning, a nice long nap, then dinner together (out on Saturday, at home on Sunday). Without kids: a nice B&B or resort somewhere within a two hours’ drive, where MH and I can hike, walk through a little town, have a really nice dinner, a bunch of drinks, and watch some movies back in our room. (This is actually really similar to what we did for our babymoon in September, minus the drinks for me!)

Oh and here’s a little bump comparison just for fun. 4 weeks (day after BFP) vs. 34 weeks!

Weeks pregnant: 35
Baby is the size of a: pineapple
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: green
Appointments: dec 26
Symptoms: lots of BH, waddling and just overall discomfort from being so large.
QOTW: What would your perfect weekend look like (with or without kids—you choose!)? I would love a solo target trip with a hot coffee, followed by a pedicure. Then I would like someone else other than me to deep clean my house. Then dinner at a yummy restaurant, and wine.

Weeks pregnant: 38w 1d
Baby is the size of a: spaghetti squash
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: ttm
Team: boy
Appointments: Friday
Symptoms: contractions on and off all day for the last 5 days or so. But as of my appt last Friday they have been unproductive. My nausea has gotten even worse if that's even possible. I'm very uncomfortable and tired!
Milestones: less than 2 weeks to go!
Rants/Raves/Vents: I still feel like I have so much to do. We washed all the baby stuff but I just feel unprepared for a newborn! And getting nervous for labor/delivery. And I've made a decent dent in Christmas wrapping but still feel like I have so much left to do.
QOTW: What would your perfect weekend look like (with or without kids—you choose!) Just relaxing! Watch a movie or something and not be interrupted or feel like in should be doing something else.

Weeks pregnant: 31
Baby is the size of a: Asparagus
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: pink 🎀
Appointments: Dec 27th
Symptoms: Lots of heartburn/acid reflux. Seems to be getting worse every week. Peeing all the time.
Milestones: Another week down. Working on washing NB clothes and getting the nursery ready this week.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Having mixed feelings about being ready for this LO. On one hand I’m getting large and out of breath easily, uncomfortable etc but on the other hand we still have so much to do to prepare. I have no idea why but for some reason I have a feeling she’ll be here a week or two early but who knows 🤷🏼♀️
QOTW: What would your perfect weekend look like (with or without kids—you choose!)? At this moment a weekend alone with MH would be so great. I’d have my mom watch DD Friday and Saturday night while we sleep in and go out to eat and enjoy a kid free weekend. We’d probably enjoy being lazy one day and then have a date day the next.

Weeks pregnant: 29+4 Baby is the size of a: acorn squash FTM/STM/TTM/etc: ftm Team: secret Appointments: growth scan and OB first week of January Symptoms: 2nd tri reprieve is definitely over! Fatigue, nausea, pelvis and abdomen stretched so uncomfortable by baby's big head etc. Swollen sore veins on my vulva, that's a new one. After gaining 8-9 lbs in all of 1st-2nd tri, I've now gained another 4 or 5 in the last 2ish weeks. Partly from swelling legs and feet I think. Milestones: single digit weeks to c section!! Rants/Raves/Vents: DH is a saint. He often doesn't naturally notice how to help or how to say reassuring things, but he is trying so valiantly. I'm starting to feel more comfortable asking him for help and he's helping me feel okay about having really low energy to get things done. QOTW: What would your perfect weekend look like (with or without kids—you choose!)? I think we have been having them! Trying to enjoy each minute of our kid free weekends while we have them. Seeing friends or family maybe once, doing a small house project or helping each other get chores out of the way, a date, and then lots of chilling out with games, movies, and cooking. The idea of planning something special feels way too difficult right now lol.

Weeks pregnant: 30+4
Baby is the size of a: A platypus
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Pink
Appointments: The 28th
Symptoms: Sciatic is bothering me today. No longer sleeping for very long stretches at night anymore. BH. Same old, same old.
Milestones: Single digit weeks in a couple days!
Rants/Raves/Vents: My nephew caused quite the family drama last year and because of it, the brother I'm closest to has pulled his family away from our parents (who played no part in what happened) and has recently told them that the temporary separation to "calm down feelings" is now permanent. My heart is broken for my parents. It's like every second, third, fourth, and fifth chance my nephew gets, more things are taken away from them and there's nothing they can do about it. They were really hoping things would start going back to normal, even if they had to wait for my nephew to move out next May. My mom can barely talk about my brother's kids or him without crying and I have no idea how to help her.
QOTW: What would your perfect weekend look like (with or without kids—you choose!)? With kids: Late wakeup, some sort of activity like hiking or the zoo, lunch out, movie, picking up wings for dinner. Without kids: Get a room at an out of town bed and breakfast and just wander the local area.

Rants/Raves/Vents: i'm waiting on my GSB test results. I would love to know if I passed or failed.

Weeks pregnant:31 tomorrow
Baby is the size of a: some 3lb veggie
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Girl
Appointments: Twice a week until I deliver. Usually Tuesday and Friday.
Symptoms: Reflux, tiredness, pain in my ribs.
Milestones: Another week of cooking. Single digit weeks Tom arrival.
Rants/Raves/Vents:Im getting anxious because 32w is when DS really dropped off the growth curve and my placenta started to crap out. I'm getting twice weekly BPP and weekly NST but still worry. I had a growth scan last week and they checked the cord but I don't see them for another 3 weeks and I worry what might happen in that time. With holidays and my work that is a soon as I could get back in though. I see one of my favorite OBs Friday and will talk to him about it more and likely get him to check another growth scan. GD is under better control but it is hard to resist the all the holiday treats especially at the hospital!
QOTW: What would your perfect weekend look like (with or without kids—you choose!)?Right now no kids. At a spa where I can relax with room service and movies. I guess SO can come too! I am very much an introvert and get very little alone time these days. I could really use some to recharge.

Appointments: Not until after the holidays.

Rants/Raves/Vents: I am in such a bad mood. I am just over the move, and ready for things to settle down, and overwhelmed by Christmas.
QOTW: What would your perfect weekend look like (with or without kids—you choose!) A weekend with a perfectly clean house and no plans where someone else prepares tons of delicious and nutritious food. I just want to hang out with my family.
