McConnell said they're doing a continuing resolution through February with the same level of border control funding.
Right after Trump tweeted this. Lol. Sure Jan.

Kennedy is on CNN talking about how walls work in San Deigo, El Paso and Israel/Iraq...
also how disappointed he is in Pelosi because she wont have the votes for SOH if she appears to give into the white house on the wall
Flynn was not entrappped. He doesnt speak for the WH.

I love that they are this scared of him getting primaried They're definitely making moves to eliminate the possibility: "Under the plan, which has been in works for several weeks, the Trump reelection campaign and the RNC will merge their field and fundraising programs into a joint outfit dubbed Trump Victory....There is another benefit as well: With talk of a primary challenge to Trump simmering, the act of formally tying the president’s reelection campaign to the resource-rich national party will make it only harder for would-be Republican opponents to mount a bid." www.politico.com/story/2018/12/18/trump-machine-swallows-rnc-1067875

This is an interesting thread about US military presence in the Middle East. I don't know what the answer is but I agree that the current back-and-forth-and-back cycle hasn't been good for anyone.

With pay. It has been customary when the holiday falls on Tuesday to give Monday off (and Obama did a Friday when Christmas was Thursday), but you just never know with this chuckle face. I don't expect anything from him.

Further proof that Lindsey graham 's little temper tantrum during the Kavanaugh hearings was pure political theater: Cory Booker just said that only a couple of days later, Graham stood up to Skippy on Booker and Durbin's behalf on First Step

Hrm. State is pulling it's employees out of Syria within 24 hours. That seems odd.

Ummm... she didn't give in on the wall. The GOP did ...didn't the funding stay at the same level that it has been, which is precisely what Nancy said is what would happen? Exactly. Which means Trump and his buddies are the ones that gave in. Kennedy is just out there stirring the pot.

So...Assad tortured and killed an American woman. Why would *that* prompt us to bail in Syria? No, I think she was referring to that story with regards to State Dept pulling their staff out and it not being a safe place for them if US troops are withdrawing. What prompted the decision is completely unclear at the moment. Beyond Trump wanting to do it for his own reasons.

its just weird that it happened over a year ago and we're just now hearing about it.

My guess is what is happening right now is everyone behind the scenes is trying to run around and get them to walk this back/delay actually doing anything.
