I have a question. I’m on my last container of formula and don’t plan on buying anymore. I probably have one full day left. E is doing ok with milk. I’d like him to drink more but we are working on it. At home he can get away way with just two formula bottles. The problem is he usually has one anytime from 4-5:00 a.m. What do we do when he usually gets up then? Give him a regular breakfast and hope he goes back to bed? With N I nursed and at this point nursed first thing when he woke up and right before bed. I’m pretty confident E will be fine with solids the rest of the day. But we have no idea about the early morning wake up. I really don’t want to stretch the formula out longer. Any advice? Does he usually go back to sleep after that 4-5am bottle? If so, I'd do milk

Does he usually go back to sleep after that 4-5am bottle? If so, I'd do milk Most of the time he does go back to sleep. Could you push bedtime back alittle bit so he wakes up later? That could be another option. That way he can have milk and breakfast right upon waking up. If not, milk to replace the 4am bottle will work I'm sure

Timely question sarahandben108. I agree with all the others- C just woke up at 5. I tried to let him cry a bit but now he’s currently passed out on my shoulder after a bottle of milk.

Thanks, everyone! I think Saturday will be the first day he won't have a morning bottle so we will try a cup of milk and see how that goes.

He's usually up by 1:00 with that nap and can't really make it much longer than 6:30 before he starts to lose it. Both boys are just early risers.
