sunfrogger my supply has tanked recently too and I'm having much of the mom guilt about it. I was so looking forward to cutting back on pumping because I had a giant freezer stash. Jokes on me, my stash has been decimated and I added another pumping session to try to get it moving again and keep up with her consumption. Ugh. . How much is your DD having? We were doing 15ozs, 3 5oz bottles but she wasn't eating it all so I cut each bottle back to 4oz. I'm worried that was the wrong call. I'm back to trying to pump 3x a day which is really hard in my new job so I'm pumping 2x and then in the car on the way home. I'm going to start eating oatmeal and mothers milk tea daily but I'm not sure what else to do. Oh and hydrate. Lol. I mean it's just a couple more months at this point but...

She's downing 3-4 6 oz bottles with the nanny. She loves food and loves to drink water, but man she still chugs the milk. I feel like she just shot up about 2 inches, which I'm assuming has something to do with it. I'm drinking water like I'm getting paid for it and really crossing my fingers that my decrease was illness related and that it'll rebound.

OMG, you guys. I send 6 oz total usually. I only got 4 oz on Monday but my day care provider is a miracle worker and made it work for baby V. I do get more as the week goes on, so I think she just doesn't drink much when we're together and then pumping all week actually increases my supply. I was going to stop pumping after Christmas break but then I thought about it more...we'd have to transition to formula for about a month (ped's wishes) and then to a milk (probably will be almond milk) so I figured I'll just keep pumping so we only have to do 1 transition!

I usually send 9oz total. 3 - 3oz bottles. If I pick up before 5 sometimes he doesn't get the 3rd bottle. I am only pumping 3oz a day now so am pulling from the freezer. I only pump once a day though. I am definitely going through the freezer stash quickly but just have to make it through the end of the year so I should be ok.

My freezer stash is nonexistent...I'd say I maybe have 5oz. That is just in case of emergency pretty much. I'm thinking of pumping some while home on break but really do not want to. Maybe I will like once or twice just to get a bit more of a cushion in case something happened (like I forgot to put milk in fridge when getting home for the day). It is exciting to be done soon!! I'm doing twice a day right now still so I will def at least go down to once in January. I barely get anything during my lunchtime pump anyway. V slept until 6am and only nursed then (usually does another one during the night) so I was very full today and got like 9oz, way more than usual!

sunfrogger My supply has dropped a lot recently too! I can only get between 6-8 oz a day, and that is with pumping 3x. He STTN most of the time now (knock on wood!) and so the first pump is normally 4 or 5 oz since I can build up overnight, but the rest are only 1.5 to 2 oz. All this to say-try to release the guilt! I think it is pretty natural at this age for supply to drop since they are starting to eat more solids, and you have provided her with 9.5 months already which is great!!

This does make me realize DS eats a lot though, lol. He still averages about 24-26 oz a day (lots of formula supplementation included in that). He has always seemed to eat a lot and the doctor at his 9 month appt. last week was happy with his growth curve so I guess we'll hope over the next two months he starts to cut back on that some!

I am super grateful that both of my children are great eaters but RIP food budget.
Today little man had two scrambled eggs, a half of a sandwich, a piece of chicken, lots of veggies and some noodles. That’s along with 3 bottles and a few bites of whatever MH I were eating. 😮

I get about 10 oz a day. We do 4 oz bottles and most days he won’t take his 3rd bottle fully that I send. He’s much more into food and nursing over bottles. We still nurse twice a night usually before he goes to bed so he makes up for the lack of bottles during the day. And he’s fallen off the growth chart. He’s always hungry for food like full on screaming when his food is gone.

I am trying to drop in more, especially since I'm hanging out on J/A19 now 😬😬 Baby girl is good, just started walking this week!
Does anyone have a cute first Christmas outfit? I need to try to dig out DD2's if I can find it. Of course for some of your babies it's their 2nd Christmas!!
I am #doingtheleast for the holidays. We are flying to visit my parents so I bought clothing gifts for all my family on Eddie Bauer 50% off day and I have essentially given up on buying gifts for DH's family. Instead of gifts for our kids we're doing a trip to Great Wolf Lodge and an indoor amusement park in January.
Anyway, hello and sorry to be a stranger! I will try to be around more.

Congratulations @peachesandcream! If daycare wasn’t so expensive, I’d be trying for a second right now. We’ll probably wait another year. Enjoy the pedicure marygracerichGoing to get out Christmas tree after the baby wakes up from his nap. Christmas is my favourite time of year and I’m so behind on everything this year. I can’t believe it’s only 9 days away.

I have most of the gifts purchased but nothing wrapped. I finally got a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs (you can see pics on GD if you want). I had to rig it a bit. I do have a Christmas outfit for the baby and a my first Christmas bib from ds1 that MIL bought. I have a pic of me from last Christmas and I was huge!!!

I hated a lot of the first Christmas I saw for boys his year that didn’t clost a ton of money. I had a red/white shirt that he’s been wearing and his eco gave him a onesie that looks like an elf.
I finally got Henry’s stocking sewn today so that’s one more thing off my to do list.

I have had a crazy busy weekend and I still have so much to do. The baby is currently napping and G is watching the end of beauty and the beast. When the baby gets up it’s vacuuming, cleaning and straightening up.
I was a Christmas party until midnight and then my sister, bil and sil wouldn’t leave my house until like 12:50am. I am exhausted.

Congrats peachesncream!!! We went to a party last night and my niece slept over so my SIL is here today. I made pho for lunch. Nommm. We went to see Santa after DD1s school show Thursday! Liv took a couple independent steps yesterday for the first time!!!! I screamed bloody murder in surprise at the party we were at. It's so exciting! Basically I've been going to bed so early now that I don't have school.... I love it. I need to do some baking this week though.

Congratulations peachesncream! Baby T has been taking a couple tiny steps here and there! I got a good video today. I love the little bits of independence and next stages that are coming up.

DD has a cold. Saturday night she woke up every 2-2.5 hours screaming her head off. I had to turn on lights and fully wake her each time to get her to calm down enough to fall back asleep. Last night was slightly better, but there was still on episode like that. She seemed like she was feeling better this morning, so I hope she has a good day with H.

Ugh I'm sorry, thunderenterprise. We use the Vicks nightlight things in baby's room when she has a cold. Usually when it messes with her sleep that badly it means she has an ear infection too, so that might be worth checking out! Hope she feels better soon.
