Hi ladies! Christmas cards have been sent and most of the gifts are bought and wrapped. Plus we have finally agreed upon all the holiday get togethers dates and times to see everyone which is a big relief.

Hi!! I'm irritated today because my Christmas CARDS are scheduled for delivery on Wednesday, but the printed envelopes are still in production and estimated for next week. It will be a long night of stuffing and stamping after DD goes to bed when those come in. Oy.

Hi! I have been pretty busy. I had two parties to go to on Saturday, helped my sister with a craft fair on Sunday and went to borough hall today so that my sil could get married. Insanity.
Tonight I have to have dinner and then head to work. MH is doing bedtime tonight.

I taught a cookie decorating class at the library today. It went much better than I expected.
Only two more weeks until I’m off for a week. It’s the only full week I take all year so I’m super pumped.

Hi! Honestly, I'm most excited for being off work for a bit to stay home and enjoy time with the kids. Our day care is closed next week, so I'm doing 2 days, DH is doing 2 days and my parents are watching them 1 day. Then I am off until I go back to school on Jan 2.
We have been doing a bunch of fun holiday stuff too...making cookies, seeing parades, going to see Santa, decorating, etc. DS fell into the tree last night trying to do dancer pose during our after dinner yoga session. LOL. He's ok obviously. There is still a lot to do for us too: send cards, wrap gifts, etc. I have done ,most of the shopping though, so that is something. DH needs to put together a couple of things. We try to keep things pretty small but I feel like the kids are still getting a lot of stuff-even if some of it is stuff like underwear and socks! ha.

This past weekend was DDs first birthday party, and it was a great time. We had family and a few friends over and had snacks and cupcakes.
I can't wait to decorate for Christmas now that the party is done. Fingers crossed that DH can get the tree and decorations out of storage soon 🎄
I just finished a crocheted owl scarf Christmas present for DSs teacher. It is the first scarf I've ever made, and I'm super pleased with how it turned out.

I am set on DH and DS's gifts, but so many family members left to buy for. Plus all the wrapping...cooking....doing our cards....AH! I thought Christmas felt busy last year- little did I know how busy it would feel once we added a baby to the mix. LOL And I'm sure someday I will look back and think "Oh I thought I felt busy when we had just ONE baby and now we have 2 kids...little did I know!"

I have exactly 0 gifts wrapped. I am also not done shopping. My children are long since done because I am not getting them too much. They get so much from everyone else, we would be too overwhelmed.
I still have to buy for my grandmother, my mom, my sister, my friend and I am trying to decide if I am getting for my cousins. I usually do something very small for them. Maybe I will do chocolates to something. I need one more gift for MH. I spent a little more than I thought I was going to for him. 🤷🏻♀️
My Christmas cards are filled out and ready to be mailed. MH is sending them out tomorrow.

I just saw there are "Snowy Day" stamps, so now of course I must find them to use on our Christmas cards... Also zero presents wrapped here. I'll start on that next week probably. I still have a couple of gifts to buy.

Has anyone had experience with roseola? DS has a rash all over his belly and back that look like the roseola rash images I see on Google, but he hasn't had a fever recently which seems to be a common symptom.
At what point do you call your doctor for a rash typically?

At what point do you call your doctor for a rash typically? G had roseola as a baby. She had a fever for like two days, then she got the rash after the fevers were gone. The fevers weren’t very high. The rash lasted like a day and a half. The dr said it was nothing to worry about and there is nothing he could do. I would monitor it until tomorrow and see if it changes. If it gets worse, take him in.

Y’all are taking about wrapping gifts and I don’t even have half of mine yet! We also haven’t had time to get our tree yet, that’s on the list of things to do Sunday. I need to pull it together!

We typically don’t wrap until Christmas Eve. It’s easier to get everything out at once to wrap and the wrapping supplies vs having to tell DS1 why there may be wrapping paper scraps in the garbage can or forgetting something is out.

I wish I could do that but we celebrate with most of our family on the eve. The only gifts that won’t be under the tree before then are the ones for my kids and H. We go to the my grandmothers first and do gifts with my dad, my aunts, uncles and cousins. Then we head to MHs uncles house. We won’t be home on Christmas Eve until like 1am. It’s annoying but they do Santa at freakin midnight. I have the Christmas Eve wrapping jealousy.

I got G up and off to school. The baby woke up about 15 minutes before the bus was supposed to come so I left him in the crib so I can bring G to bus stop (it’s in front of my house) easier. I came back in and he went back to sleep. 🤷🏻♀️oh well. Now I am watching the news and waiting for him to wake up.

The baby got up at 5:30 today which is at least an hour earlier than normal. So tired, I’m struggling to get ready for work. Thankfully I only have to answer to myself if I’m late.

pinkcat my DD1 had it before she turned one. There isn’t too much you can do but treat symptoms. If the rash continues or fever gets really high I would call the ped.

DS has a rash all over his belly and back that look like the roseola rash images I see on Google, but he hasn't had a fever recently which seems to be a common symptom. At what point do you call your doctor for a rash typically? DD1 had roseola at about 13mo. We had 3 days of a high fever that broke. A day later, the rash. I don't call about an asymptomatic rash. Liv got a rash like roseola w no fever. No fever, rash is not weepy or anything, I no curr. She tends to get rashes when something is working it's way thru.

They're so fun now, guys. But still babies. I love my babies. ❤️ Liv is 9.5mo officially on Fri. My supply is shitty and I have awful anxiety about it. Liv already dropped on her growth curve and I'm having mom guilt bc I pump 5d/wk over being home 2d/wk with her sister. The ped said that she's ahead developmentally and may just be plateauing early since she's all over the place but I still have mom guilt. She also way prefers food to milk. She spits up if she's had too much milk. Liv asleep in the Lille as we walked thru the Macy's Christmas village. This sweet, sweet face Pretty sure dog is going to be her first word She loves all the dogs.

sunfrogger my supply has tanked recently too and I'm having much of the mom guilt about it. I was so looking forward to cutting back on pumping because I had a giant freezer stash. Jokes on me, my stash has been decimated and I added another pumping session to try to get it moving again and keep up with her consumption. Ugh. I also just went on a Christmas gift internet spree and now my shopping is done for everyone except H. Since we're traveling, I had everything shipped directly to my parents' house, so wrapping will be last minute.
