@easilyunamused, She says ball, milk, hi, bye, and tries to say D1’s name which isn’t that easily pronounced but at least she is trying. Mama and Dada sporadically, lol figures! Glad your feeling better. Mama and dada are sporadic too. He says those words besides milk. And yeah, no, and wow. They way he says wow is so adorable. Lol. But mostly is just grunting, screaming and pointing. Lol

Oh my gosh @easilyunamused I’m so sorry. I hope you’re back to 100% ASAP. And A too. I’d be salty about the ski trip, too. Parenting while sick is the worst. Thanks. I hope you all are on the better side too!

How do I get A to try to repeat sounds and words back to me? Whenever I try, he always either shakes his head or ignores it. He babbles constantly, but doesn’t seem interested in saying words. Same. She is starting to get better and I just keep at it but feel like I’m in the same boat. She would much rather climb allllllll the things or try any death defying act 🤷🏻♀️😂 She has started saying a couple things so hopefully it’s helping. Hope your feeling better today! Same. He says 5 words but they are the same 5 he has said for a few months. He will not repeat me

R says T’s name, yeah/yes, Let It Go and Dada. She said tree yesterday and she’s said “yellow guy” a couple of times. She also has said duck, but it’s not the full word. My mom says she says Nana, but she’s been saying “nei nei” for a long time and says it a lot around me, too - she rarely says mama.
R uses multiple signs.
We don’t like uh-oh, so we don’t use it. It’s annoying enough that I get hit in the head with food while picking up food, the last thing I want to hear is “uh-oh.”
I think all you can do at this point is repeat words and encourage them to use them when they point/grunt.
