At least I have Friday off. I wish work would slow TF down before the break but it seems like I'm busier than ever.

We have always played dirty Santa at our Christmas parties, but have to cancel it this year. Someone always brings an obscene (read: hilarious) gift and the person who got it last year won’t stop going on and on and on about it because she gave a nice and thoughtful gift and it was “disrespectful” to had to have gone home with a bag of dicks. Whatever. So now I have to Pinterest or whatever some games we can play.

Everyone is drinking and having a great time, it’s hilarious to have someone open up something like that amongst all the gift certificates and candles. I’m thinking of doing one of those Saran Wrap balls where the different layers have little prizes. Might have to put something bad in there now.

I have a collection report to work on, which includes graphs that I hate doing. So naturally I'm catching up here and trying to figure out how to print the addresses on envelopes for Christmas cards because my handwriting is awful.

I believe Shutterfly will do it if you upload an excel with your addresses.

Yeahhhh...deepest apologies in advance to everyone who gets the third card and beyond. I can only concentrate that hard in writing for about 20 seconds. And dear lord writing waitwhat ‘s address. Girl. I had to take four breaks.

tgrimes, yes they print them and mail them to you ETA: that’s who I did my Xmas cards thru and it was an option at the end. Not sure if you can get just envelopes.

My aunt gave me an obscene amount of clothes for W that her youngest just outgrew. Like...20 pairs of pants, a few dozen long sleeved shirts, and a dozen sweaters/jackets. She also gave me more summer wear than we could use. Like a few dozen shorts and tee shirts.
I kept a reasonable amount and the rest is being evaluated at a consignment store right now. Whatever they don't take is donation-bound.
It was 6 trash bags full of clothes when I got it. I cannot imagine having that many clothes for a 5 year old. Am I just even more cheap than I thought? Who is the weird one here?

Holy cow starbuck. I'll admit we have a lot of clothes. Partially because we get a lot given to us and partially because the weather here fluctuates so much so we need a variety. But 6 bags?!?!?!?!

I feel much better about the amount of clothes M has now. I thought it was a lot, but 6 bags? My goodness. I don’t think I have that much clothing.
Now shoes.....

I'm too cheap to have Shutterfly or whoever print addresses (I don't think it's free) so I just use Avery labels and print them at home. You can print directly on the envelopes but I've had so many issues with alignment that I gave up.

Damn starbuck. That's insane. We usually get 1-2 garbage bags of hand me downs from each size from my SIL. I used to keep everything but some of the stuff is from HER friends kids and they're like 10 years old and stuff I'd never use. I try to go through it all ahead of time so I know what I can spend money on myself.

I handwrote my return address on every single Christmas card I sent out. It was awful.

So now they look like a 10 year old hand wrote them.

Happy Monday friends. Whatever weight I’ve lost this year will all be consumed back in the Christmas cookies we made today. My parents came over to help and thankfully are taking most of them home with them, but I sill have a LOT! That’s a lot of clothes for a child starbuck. L has a lot, but not that much!

I handwrote my return address on every single Christmas card I sent out. It was awful. If I do this shit next yea,r I'm either upgrading to cardstock at Costco (they come with return addresses on the envelopes) or I'll get them from Walmart (they do return envelopes for no charge, I believe.)

Thanks for the heads up. My Shutterfly cards came out horrible and the writing addresses down is for the birds.

That's what I did with Costco. I was amazed that there wasn't a charge so I left it alone. It was 1am so I didn't know if that was real lol. I really have no idea what I'm getting and when I'll get them.

I have had our cards ready to go for about 3 weeks and still not sent. Mostly bc MH is no help and I have not bought stamps or made it to the lost office. Tomorrow, I promise. I have to go and shop my elf’s gift as well.
But I will say, for some reason, I don’t know if it was the design we chose that’s supposed to look cutesy and vintage, but they look shitty and blurry so my sorries to everyone squinting.

Did you use Shutterfly by chance? Mine look like shit. It looks nothing like the preview and is so blurry. Like, could have taken the picture with a disposable camera and run over it look terrible. I just used my camera to print great 16x20 prints on Mpix so I know it wasn’t coming from my end.
