What is everyone doing as gifts for their daycare teachers? There are 3 main teachers in H’s room but then probably 6 or more that switch in and out throughout the week.
That sounds like a lot but at the end of the day they combine two rooms, some of the staff work 10 hour days and have a 4 day week, etc. My husband does 99% of pick up and drop off so I didn’t know everyone’s names and he doesn’t know everyone except for the three main.
So do I just bring in cupcakes or some other sort of food and everyone shares? Or do I need to get everyone something individual?

We use an in home sitter and give a holiday card with a nice personal note of appreciation and $50 cash.
I figure she can choose to do what she wants this time of year with it.
For a daycare center I think nice note with donuts and bagels is an idea with multiple teachers.

My situation is different because the baby is home with me. G is in school full time. She has one main teacher and 3 teachers aids. Then she has an OT, ST and PT. For the teacher and the aids I got this little gift set. It’s a small cast iron pan with the ingredients to make a cookie pie. For her therapists I bought a gift set of specialty hot chocolate mixes. I am going to bring coffee and donuts to the office admins and school psychologist and such. The school only holds special ed kids and they do a lot so I thought I would be a little extra.

Those are all great ideas!
We have a nanny come 2 days a week and I'm not sure what's a good amount or gift to give. She is a young college student and we really appreciate her but money is also tight this time of year so I don't want to go too overboard either!

We have only known our provider for a couple months. But I know she loves Amazon so I got her a $25 gift card. If I knew her all year I would have done 50.

I think if there were less people I would do something more individualized. But I don’t want to miss anyone. And I don’t want to spend a fortune. Food it is! Thanks everyone.

Our daycare has multiple people per classroom too so I bought a bunch of Starbucks gift cards and plan to give the 2 main teachers $15 and the other ones $10.
Last year when we were in 1/2 day preschool at a church, DD1 only had 2 teachers and I bought these cute sets with a pot holder that said something cute that I forget, a spoon and a sugar cookie mix. That was a huge hit.
This year I am lazy so gift cards it is!

Liv has 2 main teachers. She also hangs in the older infant room so that has 2 teachers. There are tons of helpers but I honestly can't keep track of all of them. Young girls.
I'm going to do something in the $25-30 range for her regular teachers and $15 for the older baby room teachers. I always send cookies for the office for all the teachers.
Dd1 has 2 regular teachers. Plus she is in the open room and that has 2 teachers. The open room teachers will get a small like $10 gc and her regular teachers will get like 30$ or whatever.

We have a home day care. I usually do a small gift at Christmas, like some special teas or fun socks or this year I got her a nice winter hat. I know her very well so I feel competent in picking out something like that which she will like and use. Then at the end of the school year, we tend to give her a big gift card to a restaurant or something like that.

For my 2.5 yr old’s preschool teacher we are doing 3 different $15 gift cards to places she likes on a little faux succulent Christmas plant. We’ll give 1 $15 gift card to the aid that rotates in all the classes.
We are giving a $50 gift card to our babysitter.
