Week/EDD: 14w 4d, EDD 6/6/19
Baby is the size of: a kiwi
FTM
Team: blue 💙
Appointments: none this week, next OB appt on 12/19
Milestones: announced on social media last week!
Symptoms: I’m getting more energy, which is really nice! Still some nausea, though I feel like I can eat more varied foods without making myself sick. Sense of smell is still really strong though!
Rants: my cold is pretty much gone except for a lingering cough. I just want this cough to go away!
Raves: a friend helped me go maternity clothes shopping this weekend! It was fun to have some one else there to help me, because otherwise I normally get frustrated and give up on clothes shopping. I have a lot of good new basics, and some fun pieces!
GTKY: Do you have a favorite outdoor activity this time of year? I love snowshoeing! Im not sure how much I’ll be doing this year, but we will see!

Week/EDD: 18, 5/10/19
Baby is the size of: sweet potatoe
FTM, Etc: TTM (4yo DD, 2yo DS)
Team: green
Appointments: Nothing till the big ultrasound on Dec. 18. Had one last week, HB 155!
Milestones: Announced at work
Symptoms: Awake all night, then tired all day. Lots of headaches, though I think I am causing them with teeth clenching. Nausea if I dont eat, and when I brush my teeth, but way better than it was. Some heartburn.
Rants: I have just had a string of bad days (nothing big, but lots and lots of little upsetting things that are killing my emotional well being). I then yelled at the kids last night and that made me feel even worse. I have way too much going on at work to take a day off, that I desperately need.
Raves: Excited for Christmas
GTKY: Do you have a favorite outdoor activity this time of year? Not really, the weather here gets cold, but it rarely snows, so not the most fun to be outside in.

Week/EDD: 10, 7/4/19 Baby is the size of: small lego figurine FTM, Etc: TTM (twin 9 year olds) Team: green Appointments: Nothing this week. Anxiously awaiting my appt. and u/s on the 19th Milestones: wore maternity pants for the first time but not sure if that's pg related or just bloat Symptoms: nausea, constipation (perhaps worse from the Zofran?), breasts are still tender, cramping - think some of it is from the constipation but have also been pretty sore if I'm on my feet for a long time. Rants: Have some sinus stuff going on which I think is making the nausea worse and have a whopper of a headache today. I think I overdid it on Saturday and could hardly move by the time I went to bed. It seems early to feel like that, but I'm not exactly in the best shape I guess. Raves: DH worked all day cleaning and organizing our basement (it's been a disaster since we moved in). There's lots of work to be done but we finally have a seating area and a couple of tables setup that can be used for my family party at the end of the month. He also put up the old kitchen cabinets in the basement utility room so that I can use them for storage. The house is starting to feel more like ours now. GTKY: Do you have a favorite outdoor activity this time of year? I like to sit inside, sip hot tea and watch the snow fall or watch the kids play in the snow. I'm too likely to wipe out on the ice and am not a fan of being cold. You'd think that living in WI, I'd be tougher, but every year I question why my ancestors chose this cold weather state. Week/EDD: 16w 1d, May 26th
Baby is the size of: Avocado
FTM, Etc: STM, DS is 21 months
Team: Blue
Appointments: Tomorrow, just the doppler. Taking DS and hopefully we'll get to hear the heartbeat.
Milestones: IDK
Symptoms: Bad taste in my mouth constantly. Brushing my teeth like 5 times a day. I'm also really emotional again, I cried in front of students when I subbed the other day.
Rants: Just trucking along. DS is... almost two. And pushing every single button he can, it's like he just likes to be in trouble. He goes from the dog water to the electrical outlets, to the tree, to the counters, to the snack cabinet... I'm exhausted and tired of getting after him. He also has a cold now, which I'll get because he wont stop stealing my water bottle.
Raves: DH finally got done baling yesterday.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite outdoor activity this time of year? I'd love to go sledding. When I was a kid we'd go up to the mountains and go to one of the places where they tow you up on your inner tube, all you had to do was slide down. Then we'd sit in the resort and have hot chocolate and doughnuts. It'd snow those big slow snowflakes, they had Christmas music playing on the hillside, lighted trees everywhere, it was just gorgeous.

Week/Edd: 18w. EDD may 9
Baby is the size of: sweet potato
STM
Team: green
Appointments: anatomy scan next week!
Milestones: feeling more movements
Symptoms: still struggling with heart burn. I finally started taking Zantac again which was the only thing that helped me my first pregnancy. It seems to be making a difference.
Rants: I have been so tired and overwhelmed with life recently and everybody has been annoying me. I need to get it together.
Raves: Had a great day with DD at the zoo today. We've had some rough days recently but she was so cute and happy all day and it was just what I needed.
GTKY: We don't get snow or anything here but I love bundling up and doing things outside even when it gets cold. It's so much more pleasant than 100 degree summer days. I even bought DD a snow suit so she would have warm enough clothes to go outside all winter.

So I had my appointment today. As I was going to the lab to have blood drawn afterwards, my doctor ran in and told me, oh by the way, I needed to have my Maternit21 test redone because they had not had enough fetal DNA in the first draw. Even though it gave us negative results.
I might be freaking out a little. It's four weeks ago all over again. They need at least 4% and we only had 3%, so it's close so maybe that's why it gave results but doesn't technically count? I of course am spiraling a bit. Has this happened to anyone in the past?
