wedding that setting in the second one, with the center stone of the first, would be absolutely gorgeous.

Ok, I have been thinking. I told him a crock pot because ours has a frayed wire since 10 years ago but I will no longer use it since This Is Us. I want perfume but don’t even know what’s good. I used to wear Clinique Happy like in college, what’s good? I’m going to ask for these but should I go Seal or Charcoal? www.ugg.com/womens-slippers/hailey-loafer/1020029.html#start=1&cgid=women-casuals-moccasinsI’d also like a pair of Toms but never tried them on, how do they run? I wear 8.5 in shoes but usually 9 in sneakers. I also hate my moldy washing machine so even though it’s not old I should probably get a new one. Need to keep thinking, I bought DH 12 gifts already. 1. You need to take a trip to Sephora to smell perfume. 2. Charcoal 3. I wear my regular size 8 in toms.

kim22 toms run true to size, they can be a little snug in the beginning, but after a few wears they are amazing!

Other things I want but can't decide on: Nice handbag - I have very specific wants and can't find exactly what I want Exact same! Handbags are so expensive that I can’t tell my H to pull the trigger on something I don’t absolutely love. I have nice bags that will work until I can figure it out...

kim22, I personally like the seal color and like that they'd hide salt stains more than the charcoal (you live in a cold snowy area, right?)

Is this really selfish? I want to go to a Broadway show but if it’s a gift, I want DH to arrange everything. He has said in the past we would go but it’s always up to me to figure out the date, hire the sitter, etc... I just want all that done.

Do you think your H would do it?

kim22 I would go try some perfumes on, they can smell so different on different wearers. Some of my favorites are Chance by Chanel and Marc Jacobs by Marc Jacobs. Lancôme Miracle and Dior J’adore are pretty if you like something very feminine.

Our summer schedule is a lot more relaxed and I’m the keeper of the schedule for everyone.

kim22 when my mom went through menopause the perfume she had worn for 30 years suddenly smelled terrible to her. I knew the general gist of what she likes (vanilla based, not heavily floral) and I went to the store and got a bunch of trial size perfumes so she could wear each for a few days and see what felt right She said it really helped. So maybe he can get a sampler like that for you

You get a bunch of samples and a certificate that you bring back for a full size of your favorite. kim22www.sephora.com/product/holiday-perfume-sampler-P435370?skuId=2068625&om_mmc=oth-textmsg-mobileappshare

I asked MIL for the Lo & Sons Catalina bag I've had my eye on. It's a weekender tote for travel. Like someone ( flamingo ?) said in a previous thread, I would rather get one nice thing than lots of smaller gifts I don't necessarily need. My mom gave me cash, bless her 😁

It might be bit of a learning curve upfront if he doesn't normally book the sitter, etc., and he might not do it exactly the way you would, but he is perfectly capable of doing this. I would just let him know that is what you want and teach the man to fish, as they say. I am about to give my H a GC back for a massage he bought me for exactly this reason. I will let him know I appreciate the gift and can't wait for the massage, but I need him to figure out when he can stay with the kids for 90 mins, and book it for me...and then do this for all future similar gifts 😉

I don’t want to go for an hour then come home and parent. I like to go and come home when they are asleep but since I’m still breastfeeding, I would end up coming home to that. I’m slowly weaning so maybe in a month or 2.

When you wean you go nuts at the spa and then stay at a hotel and drink wine and binge watch tv.

The Columbus zoo just had a baby elephant. He/she wont be out in the public for a bit but I told A, when it is I want to go. Get a hotel for a night and spend a day at their zoo. I've never seen a baby elephant. He said hes still going to get me something to unwrap.

I’m going away for one night the first weekend in February for my sister’s 40th. Maybe I should just stay in the room when everyone else goes out.
