My MIL is the only person that buys me gifts. I don't need anything so I just put a few things I had in my saved items on Amazon. Makeup, primer, brush heads for my clarisonic, seat kick mat thing that has pockets for the kids' stuff & a renewal of our zoo membership.

I feel like my list is becoming more practical, too. Anything that’s sort of fun, I tend to buy for myself in the moment.

I asked for new pajamas, a faux fur throw, an air pop popcorn maker,and a big cozy sweatshirt.
I will be shocked if any of those things show up. Mh has a very hard time sticking to a prescribed list.

I asked for new pyjamas, a wooden tree and an art folder for Sinterklaas. I asked my secret Santa at the in-laws for good coffee beans and a lush gift card. Also practical, but I would not spend money those things myself.

I don’t think I’m getting any Christmas gifts this year. We don’t have money so we are not exchanging anything with any adults. DH’s aunt and uncle will probably get me something random. So I guess I’d ask for a pile of money under my tree, lol. But here’s a real wish list:

New pots and pans
Le cruscet Dutch oven
Gift card to Sephora
Visa gift card so I can buy the roses I want
Gift card to the garden center
Ugg boots

New furniture
Apple TV
Apple Watch
A spa day

guster I’m kind of the same way. On my list for mH is new perfume, a watch and any bracelet by Julie Vos...things I won’t buy for myself.

For stocking stuffers I always ask for cosmetics/skincare stuff or random products I want to try.

My extended family decided to do the Angel Tree kids this year instead of exchanging gifts among the adults, so my list is relatively short.

trtlcrzy Yes to the le creuset Dutch oven! For over 10 years now I really want a kitchen-aid mixer, but cannot justify spending €500-€600 for something that is mostly to look at.

trtlcrzy I saw several LC Dutch ovens at Home Goods the other day! They weren’t cheap-cheap but were a grear price considering, so maybe keep your eyes peeled there in the future.

We get mostly couple gifts, so my list is a lot of house stuff. Spiralizer, portable DVD player, new bath mat, front door wreath, wine glasses, drinking glasses, beverage tub for wine at parties, ect.

MH will get me something, it'll probably be random. I got him new slippers. Exciting stuff over here!

As for me, I have some things on my elfster gift list, mostly make up and make up bags and such. MH and I aren't exchanging this year and my parents got me earrings I'll never wear and the Michelle Obama book (which I already love and I'm only on Page 19)

Other things I want but can't decide on:
Nice handbag - I have very specific wants and can't find exactly what I want
Necklace with the kids' info on it - see above comment

a seat cover for my Jeep because the leather is tore and driving me nuts
makeup - because I am running low and going to buy some to replenish my stock anyway.
clothes - because I have lost weight and my pants are falling off me - lol

Also - in regards to the Le Creuset - one of my friends posted this on FB:

"For anyone who has always wanted Le Creuset cast iron but, don’t want to spend $400.00 on a pot. A few weeks ago I bought a Crofton 6qt pot at Aldi for 29.99 and today went back and bought the 5qt braising pot. I have cooked with Le Creuset many times and I cannot tell the difference between the brands except in price."

I told my mom I want the ocedar mop that comes with the bucket that wrings it out.

I usually tell MH if my ILs ask, to tell them Ulta gift cards so I can buy makeup and skin care. Also stocking stuffer for him.

I forgot. I asked for that horizontal cube necklace, but I have a feeling that’ll become a mothers day or birthday gift.
I also always get a piece of le creuset— small stuff: a mug, a ramekin, last year was a honey pot— for every holiday. I call them my jewels and this way I can slowly build a collection.

DH and I don't exchange and our parents give us $, which will be put in savings to replace our fence this spring. What I really want and have wanted for years is a Sapphire ring. But I don't have 1-2k sitting around to buy that. Because I want a natural stone and maybe some diamonds too.

Lodge is also really good and much less expensive.

Ok, I have been thinking. I told him a crock pot because ours has a frayed wire since 10 years ago but I will no longer use it since This Is Us.

I want perfume but don’t even know what’s good. I used to wear Clinique Happy like in college, what’s good?

I’m going to ask for these but should I go Seal or Charcoal?

I’d also like a pair of Toms but never tried them on, how do they run? I wear 8.5 in shoes but usually 9 in sneakers.
