I think I'm getting the chest congestion E had over Thanksgiving. My throat is sore too. I'm not very hungry so I'm not following the surge diet today. I was planning on taking E to this big milkshake restaurant before the ballet tonight, that might be what my throat needs but not what my waste needs.

guster Could you offer to pay for the fee in order to use your credit card? That’s what our studio does. It’s usually a percentage of the total due. On my $200 donation I paid an extra $7.50 or something. I doubt the owner will go through everyone’s accounts to see who paid by check vs cc, so I doubt she’ll use it against Josie. Being a previous ballet teacher, I can also separate issues I’ve had with parents vs students. It happens a lot. Not that paying by cc would be an issue for me...but we have had issues with parents being jerks. I have to mention that although you do need to be stern, positive feedback is just as important to get students to do well. You already know this being a school teacher. It applies here as well. I worked my ass off for teachers that were complimentary and encouraged me to do well. Not so much for teachers that were assholes. Thanks for this perspective. I may just use a check this time and do a credit card for the spring (I just won’t mention how I’m paying and just do it). She seems very good at her job, but there are only three little girls ( Josie and two newly 4 year olds) In the class. I would have assumed she’d have that warmer bubblier preschool persona if she insists on teaching the preschool classes. Especially if she wants them to keep taking classes as they get older! |

guster That’s annoying that she needed to share with you her preferred way of getting paid. You have a business, you need to get paid and offer cc as form of payment, so for her to have resentment over fees is nothing her clients should hear about. Sounds like she needs a snickers and a good lay. I’d keep on keeping on and pay by cc almost to spite her #petty&ready

guster she needs to consider the fees when she’s calculating what she charges clients. It’s not your responsibility to save her money. You paying her with cash/check is costing you money in the form of cc points. I would pay with card and keep it moving.

We just got done watching wreck it Ralph, it was so good! H had to go potty about 10 times so that was annoying, DH thinks it was because she was bored. S stood in front of us the whole time, but seemed to really enjoy the movie.

I'm so tired. 2.5 hours in a room of adult and kid princesses is exhausting. She also got to see Santa there. When they said Santa I think the entire room of girls were like, "princess who? Santa is here!" So there was singing and pictures and dancing and surprisingly no tears when it was over and time to go.
Now I'm doing laundry and Cadence is vegging with the tablet.
The Nutcracker last night was great. We saw some girls from her class, as well as one of my bosses who was there with his granddaughters. Cadence walked up to him and climbed up on his lap like she knew who she was.
Mh is at his friend's wedding that I really do think is just for the girl's green card. Mh has never even met the girl and he hangs with this dude more than once a week.

A didn't want to tell him grandma about the baby because when we told her I was pregnant with J she said "ok" and walked away. I posted it on facebook tonight so I'm sure I'll get a nasty text by morning...

Add me to the 5 year old won’t listen club. He has now lost TV for 3 days Well what a conscience, C just lost TV/tablet/ect for 3 days too. This is basically a punishment for him and me, but it must be done. |
