MH is all grumpy today and his letters are not yet finished. I’m watching the Christmas bake off with some popcorn by myself. It’s lovely.
Noel really grows on me each time I watch.

4 new tires today and replaced the back breaks. C is taking my car on Wednesday todo the front breaks. Well good thing I was under budget on Christmas gifts.

wedding I'm sorry the adjustment is more bothersome than a relief. Is this a typical reaction for you? Would it be worth calling your dr on Monday sf seeing if the needs to be an adjustment to the dose? It’s not really typical but we changed from an SSRI to an SNRI and she’s also taken me off of Benadryl and increased my trazadone. So it’s a lot of change at once. I’ve been taking Benadryl to sleep for at least 15 years but have had to increase it over the years and it is concerning. Anyway after a week I am to increase the SNRI so I’m hoping that will help and I kind of just need to get through this adjustment. Also since I had been sober for 17 years I’ve never gone through these transitions with that hanging on my back. I’m 35 days sober and that in and of itself is a bit of a mind fuck. I see my therapist next week from the same office so I’ll have her get a message to my Dr who is off for three weeks but said she is reachable. Tl; dr yeah not the usual but a lot more going on. |

Cadence's swim coach is leaving. Today was her last lesson and I don't like the new coach that is taking over. Plus, 2 more kids joined the class, so 30 minutes divided by 4 means Cadence won't be in the pool very much, especially since the two boys in the class shit around turning their turns and take forever. Luckily, Cadence is super close to moving up. That's good she'll be moving up soon. This is almost exactly why we are taking a break from tennis until I can find another club (tough in this area, apparently). There was too much turnover in instructors and a set of twin boys in the class that were beyond obnoxious...honestly just little sh*ts, and I don't use that term lightly. The coach spent half the lesson dealing with them and mom and dad/grandpa(?) were oblivious. |

wedding it is so much going on and I know there was a lot of anxiety that brought on the behavior. Way to stick with 35 days sober! Sounds like you and the dr talked about a lot of things and really have a plan for adjustments and success

I was hoping to go pick outa tree today, but with the weather and my mood in response to the weather, it didn’t happen. We’ll do it tomorrow.
I cooked and washed two loads of laundry after we got back from the movie and grocery shopping. Hopefully the boys will leave me alone so I can can fold the loads while watching a show.

This giant snow storm they’ve been talking about turned into less than an inch of snow so far. Maybe it’ll snow overnight but at this point who knows. The roads are icy but otherwise no problems out and about. Disney on Ice was so much fun. Both girls loved it, and were happy to see the characters they were hoping for. I’m currently trying to get S to fall asleep and she is MAD. Normally I lay right next to her bed and she plays with my hair until she falls asleep, but I am starting the slow transition sleep training. I’m laying about 2ft from the crib and she screamed at me and threw all of her stuff on the floor. She’s finally quiet so hopefully she’s asleep shortly and then I’ll cover her up.

I was so glad I bought them ahead of time because when we got to the theater there was a long line outside. He enjoyed it. It was cute. |

Thanks everyone. I just got her to go to sleep. I had to drain and then let her comfort suck because she didn’t want a pacifier. Hoping she sleeps well and wakes up ok. I have a lot of laundry to do tomorrow.

I think we are going to go to the big market downtown today. They have local vendors, Christmas trees, restaurants, a brewery, ect. Hoping to get a tree and also just walk around!

Morning. We took both kids to the cinema this morning. It was dd’s first time and honestly I think she was just a tad to young, after 40 minutes she was done. She felt warm, so I took her temp and she had a low grade fever, so maybe it was that. We need to think of something for ds to do this afternoon.

Whoever said yesterday that the later kids go to bed, the earlier they wake up...spot on.
DH’s day to sleep late so the children and I are up and eating English muffins. Not sure what is on our agenda today; I do need to run out and get one thing for B’s birthday on Tuesday.
