What has your baby or older kid said or done lately that made you laugh?

Forgive me as I may be in here a million times today as I think of more stuff.
-H taught DD to do the refreshing sigh after taking a drink of water. She does it every time now, and has even started asking for water by sighing. -I make a big deal out of doing lotion during DD's bedtime, and now that it's cold, I warm up the lotion in my hands. The other day she started rubbing her hands together mimicking me when I grabbed the lotion.

I gave the baby peas, carrots and rice yesterday at dinner. I’m half watching her, half talking to DD1, and I notice baby take a pea out of her mouth, make a face, look at it, and then smush it down under her bottom. I look in her little seat and she has accumulated a pile of peas under her butt - and just peas, no carrots or rice.
So I guess she’s pretty clear on how she feels about peas.

Today DD1 (3yo) took off her diaper and told me she had peed and needed a new one. (Potty training has gone nowhere as she is very unwilling.)
Me: You know, I am SO excited for you to stop wearing diapers! Do you think you’ll be ready soon?
DD1: (smiles, puts her finger to her mouth) Shh.
Me: Oh?
DD1: Shh.
Me: What’s that mean?
DD1: It means I want you to be quiet.

bassa I'm laughing about the pees! I won't lie that I'm trying to relish this time before DD is really verbal because I can tell already she is going to be the sassiest.

I sprained my ankle this week and my DD1 (27 mo) found something blue to match and wrapped around her own ankle. Then she starting yelling “me ow boo boo” and mocking how I was walking 🤣
DD2 said mama for the first time last week! It’s so cute!

3 yo DS is getting good with some letters and sounds (they work on it at day care). He'll say things like "baby comes with a B" or "Mom comes with an M." The other evening he was playing in the den and we heard "Tits. Tits comes with a T."

😂
Me: what do you want Santa to bring you for Christmas? G: cookies!
Ya know what kid, me too. I want cookies too.

bassa we too are having trouble in the potty training world. G has no desire to use the potty despite having done it a bunch of times. I think on Christmas break, I am going to try again.

My 2 year old has been all sass lately 😂 bedtime is always a chore and tonight was no exception.
C: Good night, Mom. Tell Dad to come in and rock me. Me: Daddy is sleeping and I already rocked you, Daddy is not coming in tonight. C: Mom, that's not really an option.
As for the J18 baby, she copies our sneezes and coughs 😂 She also started randomly growling today??? Lol!

My big one, all the time. I'll have to try to remember a couple gems and come in here with them.
3 is sassy, guys.
But Olivia just started mimicking us. She will smack her lips, stick out her tongue, and wave back to us. and she high 5's. It's amazing.

We are potty trained here but have accidents a few times a week. I have to remind her constantly to go to the bathroom and it doesn't bother her to have wet underwear or pants. So it's good to know that its not just us.
A few funny things that DD1 does:
- When she is grumpy she will yell "leave me alone!" and most frequently "leave me alone daddy" I did get a "leave me alone" this morning when I was getting her ready for daycare so it's not all just daddy
- Sometimes she's talking in the backseat of the car and I ask her to repeat what she said and she will say "no mommy, I'm talking to my seat." or "no mommy, I'm talking to the snow." Okay weirdo

Two more by the 3yo this week. We use bidets at our house and the other night he was crying after DH used it on him saying "ow my butt my butt the bidet blasted on my butt!!!!" And then at bedtime when I was reading him a story he interrupted to say "Mommy I love you. When I am as big as Daddy, can I carry you?"

G:I want to watch the parade Me:what parade? G points to the tv:that one
There was a marching band on for the funeral of former president Bush. Sorry, mr. president, my kid thinks your funeral is a parade. 🤷🏻♀️

I told G to go and play in her room because she was complaining that the baby was bothering her. I look on the monitor and she is singing and dancing to the music coming from a microphone we bought for her that plays a song from Coco. So cute!
Then I look in her room to see what she is up to and she is wearing bunny ears while “cooking oranges with the oven” in her kitchen. You do you kid.
