Poor buddy tgrimes. It’s a good think you didn’t try to go hang out upstairs at your ILs. I hope this is the last of it. And his temp is 103. It was only 99 when he woke up an hour ago. I’m glad we stayed home. |

I’m having Thanksgiving dinner in my minivan on the Garden State Parkway. We have soda, deviled eggs, chocolate covered strawberries, and peanut butter cups. Why are you on the parkway?? Is the traffic terrible? I have 3 of my guests coming from up that way!! Your guests are probably already there now. We were heading to DH’s family in Ocean County. There were 2 accidents but I think I was already further south of you. |

The weather was so nice today we opened the kitchen door while we ate. Food was yummy and I just had some apple pie. Mh is now laying in bed complaining of upset stomach. For some reason I'm snappy at E but I think it's because of my watch pointless football all day

My brother sent me a text he's engaged! Apparently he surprised her with a surprise trip to Paris (from London) and proposed. He's around 7yrs from his divorce and she's been living with him for about a year. If they have a wedding with guests it will be the first one in 2 generations. I have been wanting a reason to go to Europe soon.

Dinner was fine, but I was sad when there was no cranberry sauce. I don't care if it's froofy Martha Stewart orange zest topped cranberry sauce or the kind shaped like the can...I love them all. But, hey it was an entire meal I did not have to make, so I will survive, I suppose. Sniff.
Wanted to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for this place and you all ❤️

We ended up going to Dhs boss’s house after and they had amazing food and c had a blast playing with the kids there. He is obsessed with her 13yo son and says they are best friends now. He’s 13 and 6 Foot 3 so it was a sight watching them play hide and seek with three other under 10yo kids.

If you had a sick child at home and your wife called you to bring home Motrin from your parents’ house so she could give it to your child before he goes to bed, when would you think an appropriate time to leave would be?
I called an hour and a half ago. I’m annoyed. He’s exhausted so I gave him Tylenol and put him down.
Also I want my damn wine!

My parents had moved to CA away from family and went to Vegas. My cousin was living in Vegas and got knocked up, she may have had some friends. Her sister went to Vegas from PA to get married in a stupid chapel, planned ahead. We took SD to the courthouse but no one when we went to Greece. My brother's first they got married at the courthouse for Visa reasons. That was the closest to elope. Kind if crazy that it wasn't necessarily a bunch of hush hush but no lavish weddings. |

About to head to bed. Cadence and I went to my brother's house. My mom and Gpa were there as well as my niece. We stayed pretty much all day until my niece had to leave to go to her mom's.
Got home around 7:30 and mh still wasn't home. Texted him and said if he was drunk, then I would prefer he not come home until after C was in bed. Played some board games with Cadence, gave her a shower, played more games, and put her to bed.
Still no H. So, I texted him and told him that he should probably sleep there rather than drive home. Dude was clearly drunk and said ok, so he's staying there. I guess at least he's staying safe and I don't have to deal with him tonight.

With me, there is a 3 beer limit, without me, he drinks til he drops, I guess. Plus, they have a beer fridge.
