I was actually just starting a list together for family and friends so I'll just go ahead and start this thread. Share you gift ideas and suggestions for our not so little babies, their siblings and even ourselves and SO.

Since we already have a ton of toys I really don't feel like adding more but everyone is asking what to get for lil fella. I am open to any ideas and suggestions anyone has. He loves music and shakes and wiggles to them. He also loves taking things in and out of things/tubs/containers. Loves pressing buttons. His clothes are practically hand me downs X4 so a good many are threadbare and I am thinking of putting clothing on the list as well. Here's my list: Clothes Fisher Price Little people camper Leapfrog Number lovin oven Fisher Price magic lights fish bowl Also I saw a plush animal tree stump with animals on amazon but got it for a bargain at a kid's resale ( mentioned in last week's thread ) It has holes in it and lil fella loves stuffing things and taking them out plus he loves all of DS' stuffies. DS never cared for them until recently - he was into cars and trains. Another toy which is a big hit with lil fella is this Leapfrog Spin & Sing Alphabet zoo We have an older version He also loves this John Deere light and sound tractor - also older version. He loves pressing the buttons and it isn't very annoying ETA. We also have a Beat Bo which lil fella loves too - DS got this for Christmas when he was 1.5 yrs old and he still plays with it. lil fella knocks it down all the time though lol!

S is my hardest to think of ideas for. I think we're just getting him books, bath paint, and some hand puppets.
DD(5) is getting craft supplies, higher quality dress up clothes, craft supplies, a few Barbie things, and books
DS1(3) is getting books, board games, dress up clothes, and some kind of block (magnetic, duplo, or Lincoln logs)
I'm asking for watercolouring/hand lettering books and supplies, a new purse, shoes, and a few little house things.

DD1: some Thomas the train stuff and puzzles are the things we suggested to family. I think H and I are going to get her a search-and-find toddler book, a Thomas train, and maybe some new shoes. Family will spoil her rotten regardless
DD2 - Melissa and Doug have these new chunky “touch and feel” type puzzles, some blocks, a doll of her own. She needs nothing but it feels weird not to get her anything.
H and I don’t really do gifts for each other. I promise we are much more romantic than that sounds but we tend to just purchase what we want/need when the $ is there and save for the things we want/need

DS1 (5): butterfly growing garden, dominoes, some legos
DS2: a tent ball pit thing, these sticky blocks, and some puzzles. Oh and I got the fisher price rockit but will probably exchange it for the dancing Elmo thing
Me: I want a new hairdryer and just some makeup items.

danvers we're the same too! we just get whatever we want for ourselves which isn't much- in my case - yarn to make stuff with and hubs all electrical automated stuff or what ever he wants. We're boring. We also usually do something for the house so this year we're going to get a bird feeder for the backyard. Last year we got patio furniture. curmudgeon what legos are you getting and how do you keep the tiny pieces of lego from baby. I have a few lego sets on DS' list but I am afraid that lil fella will get into them. We have duplos but I think he can benefit real sized legos now. Thinking of getting the lego camper which will be equivalent to lil fella's FP camper. I am trying to figure out comparable gifts since they are already starting to "fight" and I really DNW to get 2 of each. Maybe like a different train is fine but I certainly don't need anymore match box cars! Anyways I found this FP piggy bank and the comparable would be a money bank for DS which I was thinking of getting so he can begin saving money. I also need more ideas for lil fella's list to send to family and friends. We rather not have a toy list but I really don't know what else we could do?

duskymonkeyLegos are a strict “in your room only” toy. He can sometimes bring them out to the dining table but if there is a lot of dropping, they go back to his room. i got the LEGO passenger train link
He also wants a treehouse. The “boys” version is twice as much as the LEGO Friends. I think I’m just going to get the Friends one link

duskymonkey, DS1 has...a lot of legos. When DS2 was born we moved them into 1's room and that's where they stay. We also moved his Snap Circuits, marble run, and hex bugs in there. DS2 isn't allowed in there. Legos really are the best. How old is your oldest again? We had mega bloks for DS1 but started on regular legos at like 3 maybe? But he's super into building and was never mouthy so they were fine 🤷♀️

DS2: *This M&D Pelican thing (big fan of putting things in and out of other things): Melissa & Doug K's Kids Hungry Pelican Soft Baby Educational Toy www.amazon.com/dp/B00EX5K0DA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_e.G9BbX13ZBPZ*A little chair *Little utensils *mega bloks table DS1: *karate tuition *reading pillow *pokemon stuff *art stuff Me and H: We don't really do gifts. Sometimes, but not always. I'm buying myself a roomba this weekend so I'm calling that my present to myself. H has been spending a loooooot on hunting crap this fall so I'm calling that his present as well 🙄

DD (4) is getting a lite brite, books, dinosaur pjs and a Disney charm necklace. Santa is bringing a big LEGO tub. In her stocking she is getting a movie, book, Christmas ornament, some chocolate and a paw patrol watch.
DS is getting a vtech tool box, books, and matching dinosaur pajamas. Santa is bringing him a Christmas duplo set. Still need stocking stuffers for him.
DH is getting the LEGO hogwarts castle for a Christmas/birthday (Jan 1) present. I have a couple little things for his stocking but need a couple more.
Suggestions I gave to family: DD - science or craft kits, kinetic sand, polly pockets, games, leap pad games and little live pets (she got the mouse for her birthday and loves it)
DS - go go smart wheels, beat bo

i am done shopping (i think) for M and DH. M is getting some pajamas, 2 board books, a little wagon, and one of those tubes she can crawl through. DH is getting some gloves, socks, formula 1 hat and shirt(formula 1 has been our thing since we've been together - it's a recurring gift), wallet and belt, and pajama pants. i know for sure i got 2 le creuset dutch ovens. Williams sonoma had an amazing deal on them on black friday. i can't wait to start using them!!
i suggested to my sil that M likes little people, books, and puzzles. i really have no idea. she doesn't need anything. i would like to get her a little table and chairs set but haven't figured out which one yet.

We have a kids table (I actually think it’s a regular end table, not the actual kids table) and chairs from ikea and while it’s nothing fancy it works for a little craft table! They have wood and plastic I think

I've been meaning to reply to this! I'll try to update this weekend but I think I've got a decent list going and found some stuff this week which was why I haven't been checking in. curmudgeon , thechickencoop I thought about that but as our last resort punishment, DS gets sent to his room so having toys in there wouldn't exactly seem like punishment although he has all his stuffies and books in this room. Plus keeping lil fella out of there is not possible since he loves going into big bro's room and playing on his bed and all his stuff. DS is about 4.5 yrs.
