Weeks pregnant/Due date: 22w4d March 21
Baby is the size of a: Corn on the cob/reusable water bottle
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Blue 💙
Appointments: Supposed to go tomorrow for fetal tones with nurse but will probably reschedule due to car trouble.
Symptoms: Right when I was beginning to think the reflux and getting sick was over....😂😣 it's still random though and not often at least. I've also been waking up early for no reason and unable to go back to sleep, which is making the days long! I'm crying all the time, it has to be a joke. I can't stop it, everything makes me cry lol. Feeling him move a LOT, and so strong. I'm still amazed by it.
Milestones: Hm, nothing new I don't think?
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm excited for the holiday but feeling overwhelmed at everything else we have to do this week, just a lot of extra family events and I'm already tired thinking about it. Our spare car that I use is also being a major dump and won't start, so I'm feeling cooped up being stuck at home all the time.
GTKY: what's your favorite and/or go to Thanksgiving side? Feel free to share recipes too! I love stuffing, but prefer Stove Top, haha. I also love corn casserole but am partial to the recipe I use, I don't add cheese since I don't really like it anyways. One can of sweet whole kernel corn, one can of sweet cream style corn, one package of cornbread, one egg, half a stick of butter. Mix it all in an 11x7 dish and bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes.

pambee We make a very similar corn casserole. I think we also add sour cream to the mix? I forget, but man is that stuff delicious.

It is so good though. I made some for a group get together yesterday too and there were only 6 of us there and they ate the whole pan, lol!

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 18 weeks today, due 4/22
Baby is the size of a: bell pepper/ sweet potato
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: blue! Maxwell Brian
Appointments: no idea
Symptoms: dyseugia, nausea, constipation, anxiety. If y’all have any cures for puking in the mornings, I am more than ready for that symptom to end.
Milestones: almost half way!
Rants/Raves/Vents: we got our first gift for the baby! A random cousin of H’s sent us our bouncer and a bunch of teething items. 💙 I also really popped at some point. Now I just want to be able to feel him moving, I got myself all worked up the other night that I haven’t really been able to yet. I know it can definitely be a few more weeks as a FTM. I never imagined being so invested in this kid’s kicking me lol
GTKY: what's your favorite and/or go to Thanksgiving side? Feel free to share recipes too! I make the Pioneer Woman’s stuffing/ dressing. It is SO GOOD. I lessen the amount of liquid bc I like it to have some texture, but it’s super tasty.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 18+3 / April 19 Baby is the size of a: sweet potato FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Pink Appointments: I had one last week. Just a super quick HB check. Next up is my ultrasound at 22 weeks! Symptoms: I’m pretty good as long as I’m taking unisom. I’m definitely moving a bit slower. Feeling lots of wiggling in there which is always wild. Milestones: We told DD. She kind of gets it, but not really. She says she also has a baby in her belly. And sometimes she says I have 2 or 3 in mine. Rants/Raves/Vents: Just tired of having to take Unisom. I was not this sick for this long with DD. GTKY: what's your favorite and/or go to Thanksgiving side? Feel free to share recipes too! I’m excited to make sweet potato au gratin again. I spotted the recipe in Real Simple a couple years ago and now I have to make it every year. Sometimes we do it again for Christmas. www.google.com/amp/s/amp.realsimple.com/food-recipes/browse-all-recipes/best-sweet-potato-gratin%3fsource=dam

lemondrop Have you tried eating a couple of crackers in bed before you get up? I had to do that last time. Now I’m taking thyroid meds and can’t eat for an hour after taking it. And I know how you feel about lack of movement. With my first pregnancy, I had an anterior placenta. I never felt the little kicks. The first real movement was the same time that it became visible from the outside (20 something weeks I think). Even then, I got so nervous because I couldn’t always get my kick counts. I had a lot of monitoring and they’d be picking up movement and the nurse was always surprised I couldn’t feel anything.

Haha If my husband ate stuffing, I would 100% do this. Weirdo will eat the shit out of bread/bagels/anything carby, but for some reason doesn't like stuffing. I just don't understand.

I tried eating crackers back in the early weeks of morning sickness, and the dryness of the crackers (I think) made it worse. I could try again. I can't even look at my phone until like 8am because the scrolling movement makes me nauseous. Whenever I go for my A/S, I'm going to ask them about the anterior placenta. I assume I'm just too early, but my anxiety is all, "hi, something is wrong, you should panic now!" Just a couple jabs to my kidney would make me feel so much better lol.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 22w1d, delivery date week of March 3
Baby is the size of a: 2 spaghetti squashes (seems timely with Thanksgiving, lol)
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM/TTM (twins)
Team: Double blue, no names yet
Appointments: Just had 22 week blood flow (dopplers) and fluid ultrasound check, all good! Had an OB appt last week, and my uterus was measuring as if it were 31 weeks for a singleton. 😮
Symptoms: Insomnia, hips hurt from sleeping on my sides. How are you all sleeping now for comfort? Also, some heartburn and general slowing down.
Milestones: Thinking we'll make an announcement on social media this week. Also my H felt a kick from the outside.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Just super busy with work, dr appts, and Thanksgiving. Lots to do in the next month for the holidays! I forgot to check in last week, so my biggest splurge would be a house manager so I didn't have to do adulting like taking our car in for an emissions check. 😂
GTKY: what's your favorite and/or go to Thanksgiving side? Feel free to share recipes too! Dessert. I'm making a pumpkin cheesecake but haven't settled on a recipe yet. Anyone have a good one?

Eames I'm having a hard time sleeping comfortably too. Despite always being a side sleeper, now all I want to do is lie on my back. I got a boppy pillow wedge that helps a bit, and I have to make sure I don't lay my knees/legs directly on top of the other on my side or I wake up so sore. I usually throw my top leg over further so I'm laying more towards my belly but still on my side and it helps to keep me from rolling back at least, but I don't know how much longer that will be comfortable... It doesn't help that I always want to spread my arms and legs out almost perpendicular to my body but MH and the dog take up too much room 😂

I always feel a little bad about this, but I sleep great thanks to my tempurpedic mattress, pillow, and 2 regular king pillows I use to wedge around my body. I swear this tempurpedic mattress has made my life so much better since we got it 7 years ago. I would pay for it all over again too. The knockoffs I’ve slept in just aren’t the same. I swear I’m not a paid spokesperson. I mostly sleep on my side, and occasionally find myself on my back. I’m currently using an extra pillow under my head to help with cold drainage.

You look awesome @jewelofthenile! Eames I’m sleeping with a pillow under my head, one between my knees, one under my back (wedged), and one under my belly. The back and belly pillows rotate as I turn from side to side at night.

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 25/March 6
Baby is the size of a: Napa cabbage (?)
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Blue
Appointments: the 26th is my next OB and I have an ultrasound on the 13th of December... when I will be 28 weeks... which freaks me out!!
Symptoms: pelvic pain is there, but it’s not SPD yet. Praying I can get through without doing that kind of damage again. In general, a glass cage can not contain my emotions.
Milestones: still celebrating viability week!
Rants/Raves/Vents: feeling this guy move around like crazy, and he’s in the weirdest spots. I really think he might be in the double footling breech position? He was “breech” at my anatomy ultrasound and seemed to keep returning to it. I know it’s too early to matter (and truly doesn’t matter, besides my comfort, because I’m having a planned C section) but it’s so weird to be on my third kid and feeling surprised by new movements. I can feel kicks in the creases of my groin, it’s so freaky.
GTKY: what's your favorite and/or go to Thanksgiving side? Feel free to share recipes too! I’ll just be the most boring of all time and say that it all comes down to cranberry sauce for me.

TW, loss mentioned, just some PGAL thoughts...
I feel so awkward when I say this is my third pregnancy or third child when I’ve had so many early losses. I hate being asked how many pregnancies I’ve had. This is my seventh child. But also my third. All my babies matter. Sometimes I wish I wore a sticker that said “please don’t ask me that.” I am very private IRL about my history, so I just feel like a weirdo stuttering when a friendly stranger asks “is this your first?”
No hugs or anything needed just venting because sometimes I feel so lost about how to answer that.

TW, loss mentioned, just some PGAL thoughts... You have every right to feel however you want about this, my friend. You matter and each one of your kiddos matters. You have every right to say this is your 3rd, or 7th, if that’s how you’d like to remember them. You shouldn’t feel even remotely uncomfortable about it - if others do, that’s their problem. I really hate that anyone asks ANYONE those types of questions - especially now when miscarriages and infertility are being spoken about more and it’s become obvious that many women have struggled. It’s such a painful, personal question. I don’t have a long loss history, but I know I effing HATED it when people used to ask when H and I were going to have babies - in the middle of our infertility struggle. Now they ask when we’re going to have #2 (uh, after I birth #1? If I even can at all? But thanks for bringing up a really sore subject, Aunt Pauline, you jackass.).

TW, loss mentioned, just some PGAL thoughts... Hugs Tlex PGAL is hard I know I am always waiting for something to go wrong with this pregnancy. Even though I had 2 normal healthy pregnancies before my MC. I have never really thought about this. If a random stranger or acquaintance asks about if this my 1st. I say 3rd even though its technically my 4th. I dont feel like I have to go into detail. I am not sure if that does a disservice to my miscarriage, but I feel like I would only go into it with a close friend or family member if I was in the right mood. Most of my immediate family knew I was pregnant when i did miscarry so they know its my 4th.
