I’m currently in the 1 hour Glucose wait. My head really started hurting about 10 minutes ago so I’m thinking it’s probably related since I haven’t had too many headaches lately. I’ve gained way more weight than I wanted to as well. Feeling pretty bummed about that. My goal was 25-35 total and I’m at 24 right now so FX I can stay at this weight for a while.
They also couldn’t find the HB with the doppler which freaked me out for a second even though I knew she was okay since she was just moving around. A quick ultrasound showed a strong HB. My OB said she was just hiding. Wish I could have seen her face but she had her back to us 🤷🏼♀️ looking forward to the growth ultrasound next week though.

This morning has been quite the example of non-glamorous pregnancy stuff. Not only am I super short of breath and feeling dizzy and weak (combination of huge baby + side effects from my BP meds), but I also have an upset stomach, and baby’s movements this morning are extra large, rolly, and painful.
But the best was realizing that my shirt was wet where my nipples had leaked. It seemed like more than colostrum! That made me really have a feeling of “holy crap, I’m having a baby soon!”

cch good luck! I’m sure that was scary to not find the HB right away. dashook crazy! I have not had that happen before, but I have had a few feelings of my milk being let down which is super weird! Never had that before while pregnant. I’m excited to nurse again 😊. I don’t think I’ve ever said that before...

I just got a call from the doctor I failed my one hour test and have to go back on Monday for the 3 hour. I cannot stop crying. Not a great start to the week.

strawberrykiki I’m sorry lady. When are they having you do the 3 hour test? Hopefully you pass that one and it ends up being NBD. Hugs!

tngrl3 I know you do. Hugs! I’m worried now my baby is going to be huge and I’ll have to have a csection. My mind is just all over the place.

Tomorrow I go for a growth ultrasound. At my appt last week I was measuring 2.5 weeks ahead -36 weeks. No wonder I feel huge and no shirts cover my belly. So we'll see what the ultrasound shows (although I know they aren't totally reliable this far), but then I don't see my doctor again until next Friday to discuss.

For all you people saying you haven’t watched tv this year... what DO you do? Lol but seriously? I’m no TV junkie, but at the end of the day after DD’s asleep we like to turn it on and veg out for an hour or 2 before we head up to bed

I can’t even believe MH right now. We got up at the same time this morning and he actually had the nerve to jump in front of me for the shower. 26 minutes later I’m still waiting and we are supposed to leave in 10.
Not how I needed to start my surgery day.

Thanks for all the well wishes, ladies! Everything went well. I’m in a lot of pain right now (all they gave me was Tylenol in post-op) but the adenoma is gone and baby is doing great. Just had a good NST and I’m going to have some food soon (first I’ve eaten since last night), then I’m going to ask for some stronger meds and pass the eff out.

Man I thought DS2 had forgotten about boob milk. It’s been like 3 months since I weaned him. He saw me without a shirt on tonight and wanted to nurse 💔. He’s easily diverted, but I hope he’s ok with a new baby nursing in two months.
also...is anyone doing gifts from the baby for older siblings? We did this last time but I’m not sure it’s necessary and I can’t think of anything 🤷🏻♀️.

We did this last time but I’m not sure it’s necessary and I can’t think of anything 🤷🏻♀️. A couple weeks ago I was rocking and cuddling DD at her naptime and she randomly asked me for milk. It threw me for a huge loop because it’s been 5 months since I weaned her and even before that she hadn’t been nursing at naptime in forever. I told her “Mama doesn’t have any milk” and then started ugly crying. She probably won’t ask me again 😆

k to your second question, I may do baby gifts to the siblings but it will probably just be something edible because I don’t want to give them any more “stuff.” We get absolutely inundated every year between DD’s birthday in late November, Chanukah, Christmas, and then DS’s birthday in early January (and this baby will only add to our chaos lol).

I like the edible idea, my boys love to eat haha.

k I got presents from my little brother and sister when each of them were born... My parents made a big deal of it, they were in the hospital room with big red bows, and I know for my personality at least (an only for five years) it was very appreciated.

One of the ladies who runs a playgroup my boys attend has told me the last couple of weeks that I'm looking "really large." 😳😒🤔 Ohhhkay... I'm in 3rd trimester with my 3rd baby, have a small-ish frame to start with, and am carrying it pretty much like I shoved a basketball up my shirt, so... 🤷♀️ On the other hand, I've already gained 25-30lbs, so maybe I am getting large. Hmmm. People need to keep any and all comments on pregnant women’s size to themselves. Hard stop.

When they don't even know how far along I am... It certainly looks and feels big enough to me! And Ute is measuring 2-3 weeks ahead! WTH.
