Graduated, got my rental car, clothes are all washed, packed. Ready to hit the road at 0200 to Minneapolis then fly home! Get to bed! That’s an early wake up call. Drive safe. |

kim22 glad he’s home safe!!! Dh is doing good tonight. So we have had a tradition since Landon was a baby of our elf on a shelf (I know, people hate it, but we started it with L before it got obnoxious kids popular and over the top) shows up on thanksgiving night with a letter, the book and matching Christmas pajamas for the family. Well, normally I get all the kids stuff, pick up something for dh (I usually get him a funny Christmas T-shirt or socks or something) and pajamas for myself. Well, tonight dh came home with a bag of Christmas pajamas from VS for me and told me to pick the pair that the elf was going to bring. It made me so happy, not because he bought me something but because I put so much effort into holidays and traditions and it was so nice for him to do something like this without me asking or nagging or dropping hints. That was so sweet of him! |

Had the kids conferences today, both seem to be perfect angels and their teachers love them. We went out to a favorite restaurant and basically going to eat out every night until we move to hit our favorite haunts. We are such saps, thank goodness we aren't actually moving far away and we couldn't come back basically any day. I'm going to do a run over tomorrow to take over bulky toys, hang curtains, and shower curtain to feel like we are making some progress.

DH is home! I sent him right to shower because 5 airports = lots of gross germs So glad he made it home safely! |

kim22 I'm glad he made it home I hope you are sleeping in and he is on duty but I think you are probably off at a sport event
