I just had a very sad lunch of a baby romaine and avocado salad. I had a disappointing salad, too.

lahdeedah, I have a friend who is a certified baby wearer. I had dreams of wearing B (I rarely did) but she recommended anything from 5 minute recess I got a soul sling from there that I only used once or twice b/c I never felt super comfortable. But another friend ended up buying 3 of them and she loved them. When I did wear, I was more comfortable with the baby K'Tan. It made me more comfortable.

Sscs aren't great for tiny babies though. Btw the local crunchy baby store here is going to be carrying KPs very soon. You know the owners, right? Yeah, the ring sling vs. SSC debate really depends on how big of a baby you have. If you have a big enough baby, you can use an infant KP pretty quickly. If you have a smaller infant, a ring sling will do. I remember V was a pretty chunky guy, and my girls were too so after about 6/7 months I preferred to wear the tula for most things. I still wear S pretty frequently in it.

I forgot until now that I'm the only KP person on this board. It's always been me against N13 on this I swear KPs are better for chubby chubby babies! Three panels of fabric! Breathable mesh!

Hi. We ran to the chiropractor then the playground now Z is napping. Later I'll probably take the kids swimming at our gym pool if the weather is still good. inthekitty I love hearing about what you and the girls are up to. I look forward to when my two are those ages because it seems like it's so fun. So many new activities when they are just a little bit older. This. I feel very limited when it's just me and the two kids because I have to keep such a close eye on Charlie, and Josie is not quite old enough or strong enough to do things on her own. I'm so impatient. It's so hard for me.

Hey! I've been so busy all day running around. It was C's end of year ceremony.
I have taken C to fireworks every year. The beach, Disney, etc. We're supposed to put ear protectors on him? Whoops.

I should say we're nuts over here (no joke). On New Year's Eve most people buy fireworks and light them in the street. It's a stupid tradition that causes accidents and amputations every single year. I don't think I would put ear protection on for public fireworks from a distance.

I have a Ktan ( only used with M as a tiny newborn, then got a little tight), a boba (too heavy to wear this summer, but I liked it with M), and an ergobaby( love and will be using eventually with this one. M wasn't big enough for that until about 6 months.)
M was on the small side, and always was <20th percentile. Every kid is different, so I'm not sure how big 2.0 will be. I think I'll be using it for drop off and pick ups with M and will try to use it for outings with both kids on weekends, too. MH will be in his busy season come August so I'll be with both kids solo quite a bit. Just need something easy on/off and lighter weight. I'm willing to give it a shot.

I had a disappointing salad, too. I had Wendy's. I keep complaining that I am gaining too much weight. Gee, I wonder why. I had Wendy's yesterday. They put everything on my burger (which was supposed to be only cheese and ketchup) and worst of all....no spoon for my Frosty! Not impressed! I picked off the lettuce, pickles, onion etc. but the mayo was just too much. I could only eat half of it because I can't stand mayo. Then I stopped at a gas station that had a baskin Robbins in it and stole a spoon! Lol. If I hadn't been I. Such a hurry I would have gone back and made them give me a new burger.

Oh, I believe you. I just didn't want to shell out the $$$. I had an Ergo for Dude that I was pretty happy with. I did get a Wildbird RS for X but he hated it and the Ergo. I kind of hated the RS and I'm reasonably sure that trying to wear him in it is what messed up my shoulder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
