L only says mama when he's crying and wants to be picked up. He used to say Hi dada and wave but we can't get him to do it anymore.

N says da. Sometimes. And ya. And ca (for the random stray cat that has adopted us apparently).

That was N's first word too! Nothing official from E except uh oh. But, that boy loves to babble all day long. We get a lot of uh-oh over here too, it’s so cute! C says uh oh and then throws something. We're onto you, kid!

Ds2 says mama, dada, and kitty (for cat and anything else that is fluffy ie the fake fur on the hood of my winter coat 😂). He babbles up a storm. And signs milk and more. I feel like ds1 had more words by 13 months but ds2 has so much more chill lol.
Also, hi. I had a meeting this morning for work so we were out the door by 730am to get ds2 dropped off with my mom and to my meeting by 9! He did well with her. She didn't have to put him down for a nap or anything (which would have been the real test lol). My alarm went off before dh's this morning. So I'm a bit tired. The cat who sleeps with us glared at me when I got out of bed lol.
It feels like snow here but it's not quite cold enough. I ordered our Christmas cards yesterday and they already shipped! Going with Vistaprint vs. tiny prints/Shutterfly was a good call.

AJ can say a lot of words. But lately he's been saying "ah-da" all the time. I have no clue what it means, there is no context. Sometimes he says it with inflection and lifts up a toy, sometimes he says it when he sees someone, sometimes he says it when he's excited, playing, upset, I have no idea 🤷♀️ lol he did just learn "all done" which is super cute when he says it in the middle of a diaper change

quinn when DD says ah da, I always think it's ta-da! Haha. She has some words and some that obviously only we understand, some of them are just the first syllable. Dad, hi, up, moo, woof, head, hat, hair, dog, wa(ter). No Mom yet 🙄 and pointing at something and 'uhuhuhuhuh' all day long, haha. Not what was I going to say to everyone else? You guys were chatty today!

It’s cold here today. DD2 just woke up at 845am (the sorcery) and of course we have to be at daycare at 9:30 for her trial run. I’m supposed to be getting a call from the OR this afternoon/evening for my surgery time tomorrow. How was daycare? Hopefully you had from the or as predicted.

pootsen, I agree about swimming lessons 😣 sarahandben108, it's shitty, but the other day DD was crying and DH said he'd go and I was like 'should you bother if I'll just have to come help in five minutes?' belle0720, I can't believe they're walking already! Beat my DD by a mile. cdnfarmgirl, N is just so grown up in his bday photos! jules1614, I wish DD liked bananas 😣 cakewench, get that kid some food, girl! 😁

I'm so glad that ds2 has decided that tonight is the night to party. He's been up for about an hour and a half. Dh nearly jumped out of his skin when I angrily got out of bed again to deal with him. I am freaking tired. He was clearly not being woken up by the yelling baby like I was. 🙄 I gave ds2 some Tylenol so hopefully that will help.

I’ve been up for the past hour and a half with L. He kept falling asleep in my lap and then screaming bloody murder when I put him back in his crib. I finally tried putting him in bed with us which just woke him up more. So now he is playing in the living room and I am anticipating the need for large amounts of caffeine in the morning.

Heading home shortly Wow it was obviously bedtime for me when I was typing that! How nice that they give her lunch, one less thing to think about. I'm only a month in and I'm struggling with packing lunches. Glad the surgery was quick! Hope you get a bit of time to relax now.

So cute 😍
