Week/Fruit/EDD: 5/Apple Seed/ July 15th
FTM, Etc: 3TM
Appointments: We met with he home birth midwife on Saturday. I think she would be a great fit for us but I have to find a way to make it work financially (not covered by insurance). We are on the very edge of her service area so she is charging more than I anticipated.
Milestones: None this week.
Symptoms: All. Day. Effing. Nausea.
Rants: See above? Also that my mom wasn't excited when we told her. And that my family has decided to change it's 20+ year traditions for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm kind of angry about it.
Raves: Idk if any of you are into essential oils but I highly recommend Young Living's Tummygize to help with nausea. I had a friend give me a bottle and I tried it yesterday. I made it through the day without throwing up! Every time I got nauseous, I just took a big sniff.

Week/Fruit/ED: 6+4, July 4th
FTM, Etc: STM, 4th pregnancy
Appointments: This Thursday with an RE. Just in case.
Milestones: None until we see a strong heartbeat.
Symptoms: So. Much. Nausea. And the sore boobs. And peeing all the time.
Rants: I have my first US scheduled for the 29th. I'll be 9 weeks. I asked to not have an early one because of the possible ambiguity and the stress it will cause for me if they don't see what they need to. They said that they might try to give me a US at the appointment on Thursday with the RE. So now I'm not sure if I should let them do it (they are likely better trained than the people who will be doing my 9 week us) or just stick to my original plan. All opinions welcome!
Raves: Nope.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 6w3d size of a sweet pea
FTM, Etc: STM, 3rd pregnancy
Appointments: I had my first appointment last Friday with a nurse and have an ultrasound scheduled this Wednesday
Milestones: I've made it farther that I was with my loss last time. We also told our families over the weekend.
Symptoms: Exhaustion and my boobs are killing me. Nausea is there, but not too horrible yet.
Rants: I'm not getting much sleep, so I've been pretty cranky in general.
Raves: Claussen dill pickles are the only thing that taste good to me right now.

blackcat my mom doesn’t seem to thrilled either. Which is weird. It kinda stings. I’m sorry you are going through that.

sammysam I have very little self control so I would probably want the earlier ultrasound. But I completely understand your reasoning for waiting.

She thinks we should be don't at 2 because we have a boy and a girl. It just irks me that she can't be happy for me. I'm sorry your mom is trilled. Hopefully she will come around soon!

rachacha pickles are one of the few things that sound even remotely good. I ate like a million of those pickled hot peppers the other day. The greenish yellow ones (no idea what they are actually called) and they were amazing!!! All things pickled sound good to me right now.

sammysam, Can you cut the difference between the two dates? Maybe try to get a US at your RE sometime next week? That way you are still getting a more experienced tech but you are waiting a little longer. No idea if this would work with your RE office or anything but it's a thought.

That's actually a really good idea. I'll ask if that's possible:)

Week/Fruit/EDD 6+2, sweet pea. EDD 7/7
FTM, Etc: 2nd time
Appointments: nothing till the 27th
Milestones: none
Symptoms: Fatigue and nausea. When I do get hungry, it’s usually for a specific food, and anything but that makes me gag.
Rants: the food thing is going to kill my grocery budget. At least 4 times this week I’ve gotten takeout or made a special trip to the store to get the one food that sounded edible at that moment.
Raves: fresh fruit and pickles are the best.

I’m in the same boat in regards to the food budget. I’ve had so much takeout for lunch when I normally eat at home or take something.

Week/Fruit/EDD 5 weeks today! Orange seed. 7/17
FTM, Etc : FTM
Appointments: 6 week ultrasound scheduled for 11/23. If all goes well I’ll officially graduate from my RE
Milestones: we have told all our immediate family (moms, siblings, grandma) now and everyone is so happy for us. My grandma was so excited when I told her we are due on her birthday. She also told me that she was born on her grandmother’s birthday which I didn’t know.
Symptoms: None really which actually makes me concerned since it seems like everyone else has them. I have been having headaches and I’ve been more tired but I thought it was from giving up caffeine???
Rants: Giving up caffeine. This sucks. I love coffee and miss it so much!
Raves: Just so so happy to be pregnant

Radley How did you beta test go today? blackcat I’m so sorry that your mom wasn’t excited for you. Third borns are the best...just ask me since I’m the youngest of 3 😉 sammysam I met with 2 REs and it is standard for them to do an ultrasound at your first appointment. I would obviously tell them I’m pregnant and let them do the ultrasound if they still will. Typically their technology is more advanced so I only see it as a good thing. rachacha how did the ultrasound go?

champagne, it went okay. It looks like I’m not as far along as we thought based on LMP so we couldn’t see much. After my loss a few months ago this is making me nervous, but then I remind myself that the same thing happened with DS and 6 years later he is a healthy little boy. I will most likely have another ultrasound next week and hopefully we will be able to see more at that point.

champagne Thank you for the input:) I'll take your advice and if they offer it tomorrow I'll take it. It's just my own fear that would be holding me back. But I'm feeling good about this one:) My EDD is my dad's birthday so maybe having a close family member's birthday as an EDD will be good luck for both of us!

From what I know babies catch up all the time and/or you may have implanted later than you though. Let us know how next week goes.
