Sherrod Brown is thinking of running for president . He's amazing and could probably win. Love Sherrod & Connie. Me too! This would be awesome.

How fucking hard is it to design a ballot? Very, apparently.

RIP, Stan Lee. Saw this on Twitter and thought it was worth a share: I just saw! No more funny cameos in MCU movies. RIP

Trump didn't go to Arlington today bc it might rain. I CAN NOT. So he truly is some monster type creature that melts in the rain. That can be the only logical conclusion drawn. QUICK SOMEONE SHOVE HIM OUT IN THE RAIN THEN.

As of last night, only Delaware had certified its election results. IT'S ALMOST LIKE COUNTING AND VERIFYING VOTES TAKES TIME. Night of results is actually a more recent phenomenon and we should stop demanding immediate results I'm imagining the election of 1800 and men having to deliver results by horseback after tallying them by hand. Anarchy! How the hell is she goung to argue that junior prom is not a school sponsored event? I call bullshit. I'm guessing they are going to argue this photo was taken before prom on private property. Still bullshit. And no way no one saw this for 6 months. Also, that photographer is an idiot.

Sherrod Brown is not allowed to run for President. We need him here in Ohio and he is much loved here. I don’t want to end up with 2 GOP senators.

mathlete, except it wasn't on private property. It was on the steps of the courthouse (almost feels worse than if it were school, like a giant "fuck you, 1st amendment"). As it's all unravelling, I'm laughing a little. These people were so unprepared for their shit to hit the fan. All these lies and b.s responses that are easily blown apart. I almost lost it on my cousin. She tried to "not all white men" at me and then bemoaned the media for blowing it out of proportion and going hard at the school. But I didn't have to- her sister yelled at her for me. I mean, come on. This picture has been out there for 6 months and no one in the school or city community was properly outraged enough to make it an issue until social media blew it up. The school deserves a whole lot of grief for their inaction until now.

RIP, Stan Lee. Saw this on Twitter and thought it was worth a share: I just saw! No more funny cameos in MCU movies. RIP I read somewhere that they have taped a whole bunch of his cameo's in the last year or so. I think they did around 10, so there should still be a few.

I took glee in those kids shitting their pants at school today. While I think it needs to be addressed individually with the pictured students, I feel as if a HUGE opportunity is being missed to address the entire student body.
Like there should be a big fucking assembly and you have to sit there and listen to Holocaust survivor tapes for a couple hours.

From the article I posted, the social studies teacher was at the whole photo thing. He had posted a picture on his twitter from behind all of the parents. It wasn’t the picture of the hand signal but it showed he was there and a ton of parents were there. So I guess we should expect this social studies teacher to not help.

Also the entire senior class should lose out on Sr. Prom. Let those kids be ostracized for the entire year for messing it up for the whole class.
Instead of prom, they should have to do some sort of service project.
Yes I am harsh but thats a lesson that would hopefully stick with them for the rest of their lives.

Was it the whole senior class (boys...)? I've seen conflicting language? Otherwise if its just a typical prom photo - I'm surprised the kid who isn't participating is with them in the photo - that he's even in any photos with them? So if this is everyone - something about that is making it feel more school sponsored too. The parents should have to have an assembly too. They didn't learn this themselves.
ETA: sorry, Jr class. Last year.

Even though it was off property, my prom was most definitely a school event. Confirmed by the giant ass picture of the mascot behind the deejay.

How the fuck is prom not a school event? These people are morons. Back in the dark ages our prom HAD to be held on school grounds so 'we would act appropriately with respect for our schools property'.
about 3 years after I graduated, they started holding them offsite.
And to be fair in a town with less than 30k people and a graduating class of 400 there were not too many places to hold prom locally besides the gym.

Teachers and school admin were also our chaperones. And let's just play this out; if it wasn't a school event, does this mean there was no school-enforceable dress code? Were girls allowed to wear what they wanted without rules or being harassed about showing too much cleavage? I'm going to guess the answer is no.
