Ds2 did not sttn again. And was up earlier than usual today. 🤷 We have family pics on Saturday and it's supposed to be 50 degrees. So I may just keep his shirt and put a navy fleece on top of it to tone it down/keep him warm lol. I'll snag a better picture of all the shirts once ds2 goes down for a nap in a bit.
We DTD last night for the first time since dh's surgery. It all went well lol. I was nervous about him getting hurt. He said he's a little sore but doing ok.
Ds2 just caught me watching him standing and waved to me. 😍 He's my favorite. Ds1 actually had a good day at school yesterday and did really well at home too. More teachers in the room has definitely helped. We are also trying to do better at reinforcing things they are teaching at school (using your words, asking permission, etc. Respecting it if someone says no, no negotiating). Now we just have to get all the grandparents to do it too.

Sounds like a good day all in all grumpycat! Glad your DH got to experience what it's like to dtd after childbirth haha. I'm just standing over DD waiting for her to wake up. I hate waking her! At least if I pack her breakfast to daycare they'll feed her there. But if I let her sleep in too long she won't nap on time. Sigh.

blabbermouth I hate waking ds2 up. Both of my kids, despite MOTN wake ups, genuinely love their sleep. I do too 😉

clucky jules1614 roloma it's going to be cold so I'm going to put a navy fleece over it. So you'll only see the collar. I think it will work.

3 wakeups with E last night. Mostly due to gas. At some point, gas and poop shouldn't be a problem, right? Right??!! (lie to me and tell me yes).
Just got word that our 3rd graders have been given permission to go to the local movie theater tomorrow to see the new Nutcracker movie. We are going to a special showing of the ballet at the end of the month, so this will be a great compare and contrast activity. They are going to be so surprised and excited! The local ski mountain donated the tickets so they even get to go for free.

L keeps randomly waking up for seemingly no reason. I have been rocking him back to sleep and he is fine but he did it 3 or 4 times last night. I don't know if he's hot, cold, just loses his paci... H is coming back from being OOT all week this afternoon. I think he will be glad to be home and I'm sure the kids will be excited too.

grumpycat, love the outfits! I think I might even like it better with the fleece over it. Me and DD both like sleep too sarahandben108, yes, but you think they'd have outgrown it already? Sorry! Awesome day for your class tomorrow though. Hopefully all the kids behave so you can get some down time too. spacecadet, teeth? Oh boy, it's becoming a day! I forgot my phone at home, which is fine, but like my right hand, so it's an unsettling feeling. I already have one employee on vacation and now another one is sick. Welcome back to work and management, blah.

grumpycat,I think it is much better with the fleece over it. It looks better in that light as well. I think toned down it will work fine. And brrrr on outdoor pictures! We were supposed to do our family pictures outdoors this weekend but it is going to be 30*, so no thank you. I am trying to figure out an indoor location that will work for us. N was not loving sleep last night. He woke up at 2am (his normal MOTN w/u) but then again at 4:15am. I was NOT waking up for the day then so I made him lay on the couch with me to go back to sleep. He woke again at 4:45 so I fed him and then we went back to sleep until I had to get up at 5:30am. If I had to guess I would say his ears were bugging him. Ugh. I am a walking zombie today and just keep laughing at super awkward times. I am trying to figure out what needs to be done for N's bday party on Saturday. Spoiler alert: the answer is everything. MY mom is going to make dairy free cupcakes and a smash cake so that's helpful. I need to buy the stuff to make chili and then buy the munchie stuff and drinks. I am going to grab some of that stuff at Target after work today and then the remainder on Saturday morning before the party. I am starting to feel kind of guilty that I didn't get him a special personalized onesie like I did for DS1. Oh well, too late now. Maybe I will look for a cute outfit at Target.

I feel so old. I raked leaves yesterday and my back is so sore. I told ds2 that he's got to take it easy on me today lol.

grumpycat I love the outfits and the just the peek of plaid over the fleece! Also, glad DTD went well LOL blabbermouth I totally wake my girls if they sleep too long. I never did it with DD1, but I'm all about the schedule with them. It doesn't really happen in the mornings, but with naps I cut them off at the 2.5-3hr mark otherwise it'll domino effect into bedtime. No thank you, I need some time to myself in the evening! sarahandben108 I've never talked about gas and poop so much in my life than I have since having children haha! spacecadet Glad your H is coming home, now you can hand L over to him MOTN so you can get some sleep (Wishful thinking, I don't know about at your house, but my H is the worst at handling MOTN wakeups and I usually end up taking over )

Ds2 woke up a bunch last night. The first wake up I fed him because he didn’t nurse well before bed. Then he woke at his “usually” time so I fed him again and then he woke again before our normal morning wake ups. Maybe he’s growing or is going to start walking soon??? I can only hope lol

C was up 3 times last night. I made him CIO the 3rd time.
We are down to one nursing session in the morning when he first wakes up, then before naps (if I’m home with him), and in the MOTN. Sometimes before bed, but DH likes putting him to bed with a bottle. I can’t wait to completely dry up. Weaning makes me so anxious but I’m so happy to be almost done.

Hi, all. I read everything and forgot what is happening already. I am mentally checked out- T minus 1 hour and 15 minutes before my 5 day weekend starts! Tomorrow I have off for C's 1 year appointment, and DCP asked for the day off. So I plan to take both girls to the appt with me in the am, and then a sitter is coming to watch DD2 (so that potential post vaccine naps don't get interrupted) while I drop DD1 at preschool, go do a workout class, and then pick her up. I may be running an errand in that span of time as well.
Then Saturday we leave for nor cal where we are dropping the kids off with the ILs and then heading to wine country for a couple nights!

My students have a 1/2 day tomorrow, but then I’ve got parent-teacher conferences 12-6 with almost no break. They’re making us earn our 3 day weekend. 🙄

I was down to one pumping session weeks ago but I’ve been trying to move it later and later. Today I got to 4pm- I just HATE feeling full/engorged, and then I only pumped 3 oz. Then it kind of sucks because I feel like he’s not even really getting anything when he nurses. Blah.
