Besides formula or breast milk, what is your LO eating these days?

All the things!
Lol I usually just give him some of whatever we are eating. For dinner last night he had green beans, mashed potatoes and chicken. For lunch he has leftover pasta. Today for breakfast I am going to make him a scrambled egg. For lunch I am going to give him cheddar cheese, blueberries and maybe some bread. He literally eats everything.

I am still nervous about choking (even though he has 7 teeth and seems to chew things OK- I can't get over it!) So a lot of what he eats is still pouches. Plus, I just feel like they are so much easier for me at this stage. But, if we are eating anything that I feel he can eat pretty easily- eggs, pancakes, mashed potatoes, cheese, oatmeal, soup- I do feed him that!
I would say on an average day he gets 2 pouches or other puree, and then something like a banana, a yogurt, an egg, or some other version of what we are eating.

Oh and he LOVES puffs! I worry that I give him too many of those but they make him soooo happy. They are his favorite thing to eat for sure, although he is pretty happy eating most anything.

This kid eats absolutely everything. We always serve what we are having to both kids. She’s had things from fruit to filet mignon. 😂

We also give everything. She has loved pretty much all of it: chick peas (especially chick pea curry), beans, cucumbers with hummus, ground meat, grilled meat, baked oatmeal, yogurt, toast with PB, noodles, crabs. The only thing we have not done is sweets/desserts. Or choking hazards, of course (nuts, popcorn, chips, etc). Or honey.
Any recs on decent crackers for babies? I want to get something that isn't too high in sodium/preservatives but a good texture for her. Looking for something that is not a baby product though.

I may have asked already...are you guys giving your LOs water with meals? I haven't tried any sippy cups yet but day care was asking about it. We'll use the 360 ones when we start.

I have given him sippy cups and straw cups with very limited success. I have some 360 cups then I am going to try. He only gets very very little water when he manages to get any.

easternshoregirl yes use a sippy for both formula and water at meals and snacks. We typically offer it about half way through. We use the munchkin sippy straw cup

We do a sippy cup....it's been a few weeks but he's finally getting it and drinking out of it. It's a Munchkin one but I want to try the 360 one soon!

Dd2 also eats whatever we are eating... she has recently become fairly picky tho which is annoying. She inspects what is on the fork/spoon before she allows it near her mouth 🙄 ... She HATES purées. She will tolerate a yogurt pouch or a baby food pouch every once in a while but usually swats me away when i try to feed her any sort of purée.

DS2 still has no teeth so he gets frustrated trying to gum anything so we still do a lot of purred. He loves pouches too. And his favorite thing to do with the soppy is bang it on the tray or eat the bottom of the cup.
We’ve recently done yogurt and he loves it. My next goal is something like noodles/toast since I don’t think just grits/veggies alk the time fills him up.

kbw, we still don't have any teeth either. She mainly gets pouches and puffs at daycare with her bottles and at home likes soups, mac and cheese, pasta, beans and anything else soft. We have done small pieces of meat and she is fine with that too. We have a sippy cup with water that we give to her each night at dinner but she hasn't really figured it out yet.

We also feed LO whatever we eat or puffs. He has 2 teeth. I give him a 360 cup of water. A lot gets on his shirt though. Neither of my kids have liked pouches.

He eats just about everything. Doesn’t like beef or pork but does love chicken, turkey and tuna.
Still won’t put anything in his mouth.... it’s pretty frustrating. We’ve gotten close with mum mums. If I put it in his mouth, he will often grab it and hold it there. So there is hope. I think he’s just lazy and wants us to do it lol.
We offer water often, he drinks some about half the time (same at daycare). He’ll use both a 360 and a standard sippy cup, but of course we have to hold it.

My kids eats most things and has almost 4 teeth. He’s been eating everything before teeth tho. He’s starting to get a preference and will eat something one day and not the next but then eat it the next day. If that makes sense! lol he feeds himself but also likes to throw food on the floor So that’s fun, NOT! Drives me nuts. Feeding themselves is nice is all but most of it ends on the floor! 🤷🏼♀️

Little man had pork chop, carrots and a little bit of rice for dinner. He devoured it. I hope his appetite stays this way but oh my to my food budget. lol

Last night we had salmon, pasta, and zucchini for dinner. She went straight for the protein.
At breakfast she went straight for the bacon. It's like she knows what has the most protein. Crazy. She categorically avoids eggs though.

What kind of snacks are you sending for your JF18 babies? I’m in a snack rut for school. They give lunch but I do snacks. Once she goes to the actual toddler room at like 16ish months she’ll get snacks.

Mum mums with peanut butter (you can use sun butter if you can’t give nuts) Cheese and fruit Puffs, yogurt melts and crunchies from gerber. Steamed veggies
