Today at C's pedi appointment he was naked aside from underpants. After she listened to his heart she said "ok can you turn around so I can listen on the other side". Kid turns around, bends over, and sticks his butt in the air and starts singing/dancing "you want to see my booty!" It took a while for the Dr to compose herself from the laughter. This kid kills me!

Grrrr.
I FINALLY heard back from the therapy group I’d been playing phone tag with for the last three weeks. Two weeks ago, they said they accepted my insurance and would call me with an appointment.
Today they said nobody who works with my insurance has any openings soon. Would have been nice to know that weeks ago!
So, the search continues.

I have to pick my kids up at 5 every day, all my guys know this, yet the same driver wants me to do a carrier packet at 4:45 at least once a week.

Hiiiii!
I'm hopelessly behind and may never catch up, but we're back. It was a lovely vacation--just what we needed. Luckily we had smooth flights today, and my MIL and parents all did a good job of holding down the fort.
B's surgery is tomorrow so we have to shift back to parent mode like, now!

xolastunicornxo I’m so sorry. How heartbreaking. jewels You can call EI yourself. The evaluation is free in NJ and then you pay on a sliding scale based on income if he qualifies. You should also research your insurance to see if they cover speech though. Your insurance may require referrals from the ped, my old insurance did, my new one does not. T had an evaluation with EI for his eating issues. He didn’t qualify with them but if he had, it would have cost me more than I ended up paying for private treatment at the Children’s hospital because my medical paid that with just my copay.

Glad you had fun flamingo and good luck tomorrow! cagoldi that is so frustrating! I finally got a counselor to call me back and was squeezed into a space Friday. In the meantime I know my meds need to be increased but my PCP refuses saying it can take 4-6weeks to be fully effective. While true, I’m on the lowest possible dose and if I’m in crisis now then just speed it up. I see the psychiatrist for the first time on the 26th but I’ll talk to the counselor about it tomorrow. I spent about an hour yesterday pacing my kitchen full of anxiety trying to remember all the stuff I need to do. It felt just like PPA. Anyway I hope you get the help you seek soon. |

I think when I took lexapro I could do the same thing. Although that was to prevent migraines and I was decreasing the dosage so he told me to just take half. I just hate that you have to wait so long. Could your OB be more helpful? |
