Yea that’s who it was! I wish she would come back so we can ask her follow up questions. I’d really like to know what other people think. I’m not talking about all the trump apologists, but level-headed people who thought he was “the lesser of two evils.”

snoopmommymom, interesting you ask this. My BFF is an independent who leans slightly right. She was a never hillary person. We actually had a conversation this morning about how she thinks Trump is terrible and it was such a bad choice (for her) last time that in her eyes there was just no good solution.

She said in 2018 she would vote for a sock if it was running against Trump.

It made me feel a bit better about her.

Yep.

I always really liked her, but she definitely wasn’t backing down from that decision and I don’t recall her articulating a feeling of him being the lesser of two evils. She genuinely liked Trump.

AFAIK, she was still standing by that a year or so ago (we remained FB friends for awhile). I remember her posting an article about how she didn’t understand how the election could cost people friendships...

Hi, everybody! Voting this evening with my hubby. We've got a gerrymandering proposal that I'd like to see go through. Senate seat. Governor. Big one for Michigan.

We're doing well! Young man's hearing has stabilized. More testing in December, but it looks like he'll be fitted for hearing aids then.

I'm not teaching and have really mused the intellectual stimulation, so my husband asked if I'd help him with training and managing a new hire. We're currently interviewing. Looking forward to that.

We're beginning infertility testing. Pretty sure something's up with him. I've been cleared by three docs, and meanwhile his libido has tanked. So he's taking some supplements, and we're working toward IUI in January if nothing happens in the meantime.

S is doing really well. Speech is much better, fine motor skills are dramatically improved We have a meeting tomorrow to go over her IEP for Asberger's. If she does indeed have it, it's quite mild, and she functions well with it.

B is so, so fun. Her vocabulary is ridiculously high, and she and S are best friends. I was so hesitant about having her, but watching them love each other like this, I'm so glad we did.

I have choked on hard candy before, when I was a kid, and you would def. notice if she was choking on it. It probably hurt doing down, but it probably isn't stuck in there.

Nope, one is already gone and the other has a meet and greet today and they think she will be adopted. I'm not disappointed, because I'm not in any hurry to get a dog, but would look at an adult with a mellow temperament if the right one came along.

Oh my God! She only swallowed the candy part. It came apart from the stick while she was eating it. If she had swallowed the candy and the stick, I would immediately be in the er!
