Votesaveamerica.com is a good site that has information about each location and initiatives on local ballots. I always get stumped by them, so this helped me.

I’m dropping the kids off now and going to vote.

The NJ race is terrible and I hate the person I have to vote for. But I’m doing it.

I mailed my ballot in 2 weeks ago. KS allows for early voting, so no waiting in lines for me!

We were supposed to do family pics Sunday, but my friend who does photography, wasn't feeling well, so we rescheduled for late afternoon today. It was supposed to be 60 and sunny. It's now supposed to be 50 with a 50% chance of rain this afternoon. If we don't get them done today, I give up on scheduling it. H is being a jerk about it and I'm over it. I feel like I'm the only one who tries to schedule anything in the house and I'm done.

For today at least. Well, this morning. I need to make a vet appointment and Evie's 5 year appointment. THEN, I'm done.

Thank you! When I dropped him off at DC, he ran to his little friend saying “today is going to be my birthday!”. I left cupcakes for the class. It’s not really permitted but the teachers were kind of “well, if some kind soul leave us cupcakes....”

When I got home yesterday J met me at the door and said ‘Mommy my belly feel better, no puking’ then proceeded to do a little dance. That girl, gets right back up and dances 💜

I’m on a course today and tomorrow so I might not be around much, I hope everyone has a great day!

I got an early start and took M2 with me to vote. On the way, my car went to shit. 🤦🏽‍♀️ It started doing the same thing g it did last year. Hoping it’s just the coils, which is an easy fix. If it’s anything more, it might be time to give the girl up. I just hit 200,000 miles a month ago. As much as I want a new car, I want to finish paying off my student loan first- which I should be able to do by feb/mar, so I hope it’s nothing major.

Dropped the kids off and voted! Now I’m working from home since it’s cabinet install day! Yay! They were supposed to call yesterday to tell me what time they’d be here. Instead, they sent an email at 6am, that I read at 6:45, saying they’d be here at 7:30... and then showed up at 7:15. Good thing we were all up early.

H was up just before 5 which is 2 hours earlier than normal... that’s not how daylight savings works, kid! Only 1 hour is acceptable.

Dh is out of town overnight so I’m planning on an early bedtime for the kids and catching up on shows.

I’ve already voted. I forgot the LO’s school is a voting place so parking was not fun. Plus it’s next to a retirement home so lots of people blocking the door for LO’s class.

Work was very productive yesterday. I finally feel like I’m catching up. I have a meeting with IT. I’m also teaching S how to review invoices from one of our vendors who always charges us wrong.

Morning! We voted as soon as the polls opened this morning on our way to the hospital for MH’s surgery. The babysitter got to the house early this morning and when I came walking out of the bedroom she was sitting in the living room. Scared the crap out of me!

Well hmm, the clinic just called.. the culture came back from N’s urine test from our urgent care visit on Saturday and she does have an infection. She’s been totally normal since Sunday so I’m surprised. 10 days on antibiotics..

slenle you mentioned about N’s going to the bathroom more frequently the other day. I wanted to mention that anxiety can cause that too. So may be related to that? When my anxiety picks up a bit I will have to pee every 30 minutes sometimes.

I was thinking, remember when Trump was elected 2 years ago and we had an election thread. There was an n13er who said they were happy that their candidate (trump) had won. Who remembers who that was? Did they never return after that? I wonder what they think of the last two years and whether they have regrets. tallb and cagoldi because I’m pretty sure you both were in that convo.

Lol, thanks! When the test originally came back negative, we thought it was anxiety related too. Guess not!
