Today -
BF - Weetabix with milk and a sprinkle of sugar
L - chicken and mayo sandwich with a rice crispy bar
4pm - just had half a packet of cheese and onion crisps (DS shared) as I was hungry
Dinner - English butter muffins with crispy bacon, dessert is the best vanilla ice cream I could find while shopping today
Snack - I haven't decided yet. It'll most probably be crisps or chocolate lol. Just something to nibble on to keep me from going to bed hungry

I just ate my weight in cheesy hashbrowns. We have had meetings in our office for the last two days with meals catered in and it is not doing me any favors. (refer to yesterday's post about ALL of the mexican food). Typically I have something small for breakfast, a nutrigrain bar or hashbrown rounds with ranch from the market near my work. Lunch I eat an ungodly amount but then I rarely eat much for dinner. Usually I just have a small snack around 8 or so. I try to work in a mid-morning snack as well if I have something. I was so sick in the evenings for the first 13 weeks that I just got used to not eating much. I am going to try to get better about making sure what I do eat is mostly healthy now that I am getting into the weight gaining stage. So far I haven't done badly at all but I can see that changing rapidly if I don't get my shit together.I'm in the same state. I weighed myself this morning and am up 3 pounds from last week. Looks like I need to get back on track.

I had some tortellini with pesto and salad. Then I go into the kitchen and the chef has amazing french dip sandwiches sitting there and asks if I want one. I so did want one but i turned it down since I already ate. Hopefully next time.

Just had poutine for lunch I had to go right next door to run a work errand, so I had to, right? For my afternoon snack I'll have more of the broccoli cauliflower salad I made yesterday.

blabbermouth, I would eat poutine every day if I could. I love that fact that it is becoming more mainstream "down" here so there are at least three places I can get it in my city. Thanks for that Canada! I had a big plate of cheesy hashbrowns for breakfast, a big ass ham sandwich from Jimmy John's for lunch (I didn't even heat the meat - for shame!), and am literally counting down the minutes until 3:30 since that is when I told myself I could eat some beans and rice. I will like have nothing for dinner and then some sort of snack before bed. I haven't had any candy today so that's something, right??

Nice work roloma. I will go to the bank and then eat some of my broccoli salad, FINE. It's like my guilt reducer salad, I don't care what else I eat in a day as long as I can say I had broccoli haha.

This morning I had 2 eggo blueberry waffles with toast on my way in (4 am). For breakfast I brought rice chex and milk but I cannot stop thinking about the pretzel panini I had yesterday from the restaurant in our building. I think I have shared here before, but it is a pretzel bun toasted with cream cheese, tomato, and crispy bacon on top. So looks like that is actually what I will have for breakfast. I want that pretzel panini so badly. What's the name of it? Maybe I can convince dh to make me one lol. Haha, just pretzel panini! It isn't a chain restaurant. But it seems easy enough to recreate at home...

I wasn't feeling breakfast this morning, but then made the mistake of calling about my shot right before I was going to make lunch. I was on the phone for 1.5 hours and then too pissed to eat, so no lunch until around 2pm.
I had a buffalo chicken wrap (just chicken, bleu cheese, lettuce, and Frank's) that I dipped in ranch, a maple doughnut, and a handful of saltines with peanut butter.
Currently deciding what I should pick up on my way home from work in about 45 min.

FFTC: (which I'm pretty sure I've shared before) I HATE POUTINE!! Wurst French Canadian ever. I don't even understand the words that you are saying. Hate and poutine don't even go in the same sentence unless that sentence is "I hate that all of my poutine is gone"

Today-
Breakfast: dunkin donuts egg and cheese on a wheat bagel Snack: a peach Lunch: staff picnic, I'm going to do my best. I had a little bit of everything. Grilled chicken, caesar salad, fresh strawberries, pasta salad, chips, sweet potato casserole, banana pudding pie thing. I think there was one or two or things I tried, but I forget. Dinner: frozen broccoli and sundried tomato pizza Snack: three white chocolate macadamia nut cookies
In my defense, I ran two miles this morning then walked two more with another teacher on the track before going to the picnic. So I'm going to just assume I'm good.

Dinner was a spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries from CFA. Ranch, CFA sauce, and ketchup for dipping. I also got a watermelon mint lemonade which I highly recommend to anyone who hasn't tried one yet!

But I guess I should ask, snuff9861, what don't you like about it? I don't like curds. And I don't like melty stringy cheese (which should never be on a poutine anyways). If I go to smokes I get fries, gravy and other things....but no cheese. So is it still poutine?

I think it requires the curds. But okay, I feel like once you explain it, I feel better about it

It's funny to see the difference in what foods are acceptable to eat in pregnancy in different countries.
I've seen you guys mention a lot about cold meats? I'm assuming that's like sandwich meat. Here it's totally fine to have it lol
But all this talk about cheese, reminds me that here, we are stay away from cream cheeses. Not sure about soft cheeses as I only really eat grated cheddar, I'm not adventurous with cheese. Melted cheese freaks out my stomach even what not pregnant lol

blabbermouth, your avatar is the reason I just sent MH to go get us donuts right now. My DD was standing next to my laptop and pointed out the donuts and we both decided that we needed them. Perks of H working from home. I caught him before he went to his office he is now out with her picking some up.

beefinch, we're told to stay away from deli meat because of the risk of listeria, so a lot of people will heat it up first. Soft cheeses are only a problem is they're not pasteurized, which most cheese in the US is.
