Can we do an ongoing food thread?
Tell me what you've eaten today! I just need some ideas as I've been so hungry and bored of my regular snacks.
Share any good recipes you've made too!
I have a head of cauliflower and broccoli so I'm going to make a salad for lunches.

Breakfast was an egg wrap (egg, cheese, and salsa on a tortilla). For lunch I just had some fruit salad, but now I'm starving. I'll probably hav some carrots and hummus to hold me over until dinner. Dinner will be beef stir fry with broccoli and white rice.

Well this thread will most likely be the end of me since I freakin love food and I am easily persuaded. I really want broccoli now.
Cheetos have been my obsession this whole pregnancy.
Tonight is roasted whole chicken and red potatoes. Haven't decided on a veggie yet... probably broccoli.

YES! I love food in general, but it's the BEST while pregnant - after getting through that pesky first tri of course.
I woke up at 4am starving so I had an egg, turkey sausage, and cheese breakfast sandwich on English muffin.
Second breakfast was Starbucks lemon loaf and a decaf coffee.
Morning snack was a banana.
Lunch was a lean cuisine (blech-but I had no time to make anything) and cucumbers.
Afternoon snack was spicy trail mix and white cheddar cheese-its with a Coke Zero.
I think DH is making chicken for dinner since I have to work tonight.
As you can see, I'm pretty much constantly eating. Need to work on more fruit/veg
I've been craving pizza, Philly cheesesteaks, and all things spicy/vinegary like jalapeños and pickles. Mmmmmm

I had leftover pizza and cheesy bread for lunch and am going out for Mexican tonight with mom friends.
Tomorrow, I'm roasting a chicken in the crockpot with sides of asparagus and Pioneer Woman's crash hot potatoes for dinner. Pretty excited about that.

1st breakfast was oatmeal 2nd breakfast was a breakfast casserole Lunch: bacon/egg/cheese spinach bagel Dinner: meatloaf, zucchini, potatoes

Breakfast was toast with butter and coffee
morning snack was string cheese
lunch was out and I had a cheese pie with hummus and lentil soup and a diet coke
dinner was spinach and artichoke squash and pasta with garlic bread
I have had some popcorn and three cookies so far tonight, but I think I'm done.

This thread is danger zone for me.
Breakfast was... an everything bagel and cream cheese (I really had to think hard about that one) Lunch was the chicken avocado chipolte panini from Panera. Dinner we went out to Smokey Bones. I got chicken tacos. I also nibbled DD's mac and cheese and french fries.
That's it. I surprisingly enough did not snack at all. Huh, weird.

What was I thinking starting this?!?
Anyway, to answer my own question:
Breakfast: toast with peanut butter and banana Snack: Apricot and two fig newton kinda cookies Lunch: Teriyaki chicken stirfry with cabbage and broccoli and rice (take out) Snack: cheezies (I already had these on hand, haha) Dinner: Eggs, bacon, toast, beans, tomato slices
Evening snack is yet to be decided - healthy = smoothie b/c my banana from work was too brown to eat alone or unhealthy = chocolate mug cake. I mean, I could have the smoothie tomorrow morning.
In case anyone is wondering why I've gained a number greater than 10 lbs, this is why! We'll see how much I'm up at my MW appt next week.

Today has been a weird eating day. On the way to work (4 am) I had a few fig newtons, or whatever the trader Joe's version is called.
Breakfast was raisin bran crunch and milk (yum) and an iced mocha.
Lunch was a lunchable and a single serving thing of pretzel chips and hummus.
Dinner was a hello fresh meal that was delicious: garlic shrimp with an orzo salad that had grape tomatoes, avocado, and basil. So good.
I bought Just Cookie Dough at Target today and I want to eat some, but also I am too full from dinner.

I ate my feelings today: Breakfast: cereal and toast Lunch: fish n chips Snack: strawberry banana smoothie Snack #2 Chips and dip Dinner: Roast beef sandwich and fries Snack: lucky for me our local ice cream shop has $1 scoop Tuesday's. 2 scoops of ice cream for this girl.
ETA I forgot a snack!

Anyway today I've just had weetabix for breakfast. Going to have a chicken tikka panini for lunch, and I have no idea for dinner, because we don't really have any food as it's shopping day tomorrow lol!
Snack is always unhealthy... as I never want something big at 8/9pm, it's just to stop me from going to bed hungry

Little nugget will let you know when she needs more. This exactly. My meals and "snacks" end up being about the same size, which is usually less than a regularly sized meal. So I am basically just having snacks more often throughout the day. I am just trying to listen to when my body is hungry.

Team no breakfast here too. All I want is a cup of coffee until lunch time. I tend to have a light lunch, an afternoon snack, dinner, and lots of snacks after DS goes to bed (last night was fritos, string cheese, and a bowl of banana nut crunch cereal). Before I got pregnant, I had cut out the night snacking and was eating more during the day.

I just ate my weight in cheesy hashbrowns. We have had meetings in our office for the last two days with meals catered in and it is not doing me any favors. (refer to yesterday's post about ALL of the mexican food).
Typically I have something small for breakfast, a nutrigrain bar or hashbrown rounds with ranch from the market near my work. Lunch I eat an ungodly amount but then I rarely eat much for dinner. Usually I just have a small snack around 8 or so. I try to work in a mid-morning snack as well if I have something. I was so sick in the evenings for the first 13 weeks that I just got used to not eating much.
I am going to try to get better about making sure what I do eat is mostly healthy now that I am getting into the weight gaining stage. So far I haven't done badly at all but I can see that changing rapidly if I don't get my shit together.

It helps me keep my blood sugar stabilized, otherwise I start feeling like crap right before lunch or dinner. Today I had a bigger breakfast (smoothie AND toast w/PB), so I might not need a morning snack, but no guarantees!

A breakfast skillet with tater tots, peppers, onions, jalapeños, cheese, eggs and taco sauce. We had no tortillas, so tater tots to the rescue.
Chocolate pop tart
Chili dogs on Hawaiian rolls and sweet pickles.
Ice cream and a cookie.
I ate like a college kid today.

Breakfast: dunkin donuts egg and cheese on a wheat bagel Lunch: Chinese from Wegmans, like three full servings worth Dinner: Grilled cheese sandwich. I was still full from lunch seven hours earlier but forced something down so I didn't wake up starving in the MOTN Snack: 3 pineapple spears

This morning I had 2 eggo blueberry waffles with toast on my way in (4 am). For breakfast I brought rice chex and milk but I cannot stop thinking about the pretzel panini I had yesterday from the restaurant in our building. I think I have shared here before, but it is a pretzel bun toasted with cream cheese, tomato, and crispy bacon on top.
So looks like that is actually what I will have for breakfast.

Breakfast is usually my biggest meal. It hasn't always been that way, but that's how it turned out. I forget who mentioned that with their morning sickness, they got used to eating less in the evenings because that is when they felt shittiest, and that is absolutely true for me this pregnancy.
But anyway yesterday was yummy. A couple fig newtons on the way in, pretzel panini and iced latte for breakfast, fruit salad, yogurt, and hummus and pretzel chips for lunch, and then a Hello Fresh meal for dinner that was fantastic. Lobster ravioli in a mushroom bacon cream sauce. Soooo good. Oh and some mocha almond fudge ice cream to top it all off.
It is a blessing and a curse to have my appetite back.
