So, N was up again at 4:30. Awesome. Part of me is glad I have conferences tonight and won't be home until after bedtime. I won't have to deal with the implosion later.

Ugh, Monday’s!
Ds2 was up from 215-3, I let him CIO and he finally gave in. He woke at 5 to eat and then slept until I woke him for the day. He’s transitioning to the bigger baby room at daycare and I have a lot of feels. And I reallllly need to get on planning his party so I can send out the invites. I’m thinking the theme will be “wild one.”

C only got up twice last night despite going to bed at 4pm. But he started making noises around 5:15 this morning, I let him squawk it out so I could doze a bit more.
I went shopping yesterday for C’s party. I was going to make all of the decorations myself but I ended up at 3 different stores because I couldn’t find what I needed. So I said F-it and went to party city and dropped $40 on their lumberjack party supplies. There, done.

AJ woke up at 5am. I tried bringing him to bed with me but he kept scratching my face. Seems like the time change finally caught up to him. Soooo sleepy 😴

I’m sorry for all the early rising kiddos this morning. C was stirring at 515, but went back to sleep. But, A woke up and hung out with my mom before she left lol. I’m sad my mom leaves this morning, but we will see her in a couple weeks at Thanksgiving!
I don’t want to work today but it is an easy day at least.

I really hate daylight savings time. I am dragging. My kids do well, but I don't.

Based on the level of gross on ds2's pants, I need to vacuum today. 😂 Also, shower and get some work done. And I need to run out at some point to get a shirt for myself for family pictures on Saturday. I may do that tomorrow evening after the kids are in bed or tonight depending on when they go down.

Sorry for the early risers, add me to the club...
BabyWaffle was moving around all night long and between that, my blocked nose and weird anxiety at 3am I am in pieces.
I was alone at work and super busy + still met my pt at lunch so yeah, just finish me off...
H on the other hand only managed to get half of what we needed from the supermarket and put a washing on at 5.30 pm so too late to have her sleeping bag ready for bedtime.
😴😔😩😐😡

Siena was up in the middle of the night, which is unusual for her. I haven't nursed the girls MOTN in forever, but she seemed hungry and didn't nurse much before bed, so I gave in and she was fine after that.
It was a little hard getting up when the alarm went off, but it's not so bad being at work this morning. We had a super productive weekend and I got a lot of cleaning done yesterday.
We did some photos yesterday to use for my holiday mini sessions ad. It would have been easier if I had another family to use aside from my own, but my sister's H was sick and another family I was messaging about "modeling" for me couldn't make it. But all I really needed was three good photos and I got them so it's fine. I'm pretty nervous to put my ad out there, afraid that no one will book. But I know I need to go for it. In the past two days I've had two people I don't know subscribe to my website newsletter which is exciting, since my goal is to of course build client relationships outside of my family and friends. Fingers crossed that things start taking off!
In other news, apparently Paris took a couple of steps on Thursday when she was with my mom and SIL. She hasn't done it again for us though. I guess my mom and SIL weren't going to tell me and let us see it for "the first time" and we had been talking about how we think she's going to walk soon so I think they just expected her to take off after that, but nope! It's interesting because Siena is much sturdier than Paris, but Paris is braver than Siena. So Siena can stand strong on her own for quite a long time but won't step forward without holding onto to someone/something. Paris tries but is pretty wobbly.

I am trying to finally lose the baby weight.
I am going to eat a tire...and I just ate.
I am not good at planning this.
There are days I eat less and I am not this hungry.

L started with a fever last Tuesday night so we ended up missing all of the Halloween fun. Then it kept coming back so I was home with the kids the rest of the week basically. He finally got past the fever but started with a rash on Sat. He seems mostly better, just really tired now. We went and got new iphones yesterday with both kids and it took forever. So stressful, but at least we don't have to do it again for awhile. Hopefully anyway. H left to go out of town for work today and wont be back until Thursday so that should be interesting. I'm hoping the time change will make putting both kids to bed on my own less of a nightmare. We shall see.

Why is it I can put two kids to bed and pick up the toys and yet when my H does it, the house looks like a bomb exploded?

you glad things are going well for you guys! Good to have you back! I am going to try. Life has been nuts with three kids. J got his liver transplant in July. It was a little rough looking back. Right after transplant, he developed a clot in a vein and had emergency surgery that night before we even saw him. He did well until a week later and his hepatic artery had poor flow. They took him back to the OR to put a doppler right on the artery. The surgeon decided to make a conduit for it. Because it was four surgeries in a week, he ended up on a vent for four days because his airway was swelling up when they tried to take the tube out. After that, he did really well. We've been home. He got a stomach bug last month that ended up being a hospital stay and then a line infection. He's all recovered now. :-)

So the last day of our trip ALL the big boys threw up. It was exhausting.
DS2 was first while we were at the park, he was with my parents and just lost it. They cleaned him up. Then as we we're figuring out how to watch the parade (DS2 was crying he missed the train ride), DS3 puked. It was horrifying. A super nice man helped H clean up DS3 and gave him a t-shirt. DS2 then threw up in the car (thank goodness for gas station cups just hanging out in the car). Get back to the room, get them in bed, DS3 puked. Change the sheets, all back in bed DS1 pukes. H moves DS2 to our bed (not per my advisement) and he begins throwing up, while DS1 throws up moving towards the bathroom. At 12:30am, we had to call for a full set of dressing for the heads in our room. Thank goodness A slept through it ALL. We went through SO MANY linens while we were there, we may be blacklisted. If we had been home, it would have been nuts.
First day pack post vacation and I'm working on dyeing a bunch of stuff for my first craft fair, I'm so nervous and worried I won't be ready.

Oh man clucky. That sounds like the stuff of nightmares! Is everyone feeling better? It really was. I think so, DS1 was a bit mopey today, it was his last day off for a fall break. It seems this bug is working its way out the other end. I'm hoping I can get A to nap with me tomorrow while the big boys are at school.

clucky, oh no, sorry that happened! I guess one of the bad things about having 4 kids so young, none of them can get to the bathroom effectively yet Good luck with the craft fair. Hi you, glad to hear J is doing pretty well!! belle0720, good luck! I love all of your pics on IG too, so I think you'll do great! Also, I definitely finished my lunch by 11 today. I'm always hungrier on Mondays. spacecadet, you are brave going for new phones with kids! Waffle, hope you have a better night tonight. thatgolfb, nice that your DD got a few more minutes with your mum!

We had DD's birthday party yesterday and today I went back to work full time! Surprisingly both went really well. DD had a blast at her party, it was insanely busy in our house, but all of the kids were really good and had a great time. My cake turned out as good as I could have hoped. I used some leftover salted caramel to decorate it. Today went well, she was super happy to be at daycare when we got there and still in a good mood when DH picked her up. Let's see how we're all doing on Friday!
