1. Does anyone know who painted this? It was the FB header photo on a friend’s ex- girlfriend’s page (I was FB stalking bc I’m a creep). Anyway, I NEED this for my dining room but I can’t for the life of me figure out who painted it. Looks like Leonid Afremov is similar but in searching his work, it’s not one of his. It’s driving me batshit. I’m sorry if this is huge! 2. Talk to me about your non-alcoholic beverages. I really only drink on holidays and I’m hosting my in laws/ grand in laws for Christmas. I still want to share in the fun with something fancy and champagne-y (I’m assuming I’ll be buying stock in sparkling apple juice/ grape juice). Anything that makes you feel holidayish that can be made virgin?

1. I have no idea who painted that. I hope you find out who it was though! It’s pretty.
2. Cranberry ginger ale is good and the cranberry makes it festive. You could add cranberry juice to it also for the color and more cranberry flavor.

Adding some more cran to it to make it a little less soda-ish could definitely help. Thanks!

lemondrop, it's kind of fallish, but I like warm spiced cider. You can put out bourbon for adults that want to add a shot. One year I made these cranberry drinks using a cranberry syrup that I boiled down with orange, added soda and vodka (I think??). It was awesome. I'll have to dig out the recipe, because it would be great virgin. ETA, I think it was something like this: www.zestuous.com/cranberry-orange-simple-syrup/

lemondrop, no prob! I think we I made it last time, we added some to dry bubbly and it was great (like a bellini-ish!).

I have nothing to add but I am going to revist this list at holiday time because...I miss all the alcohol and pop is too much after 1 can, so it would be nice to have something fancy that i can pretend has alcohol in it to sip on.
