The babies couldn’t have cared less LOL and wouldn’t keep their costume accessories on, but it was fun dressing them up and taking pics of them. We went Halloween crazy the past week, so I’m looking forward to a relaxing night of tv and eating my kid’s candy 😊

The only time someone rang the door was while we were at the top of the house doing bath so we had to ignore them. It's not done a lot here and there aren't many kids of the right age in the street

Just got back from the zoo. It's 70 degrees so I couldn't resist! Ds2 loved the giraffes so much! You can feed them at our zoo so they basically stick their mouths in your face ha ha. They had a really cute baby giraffe and a baby kangaroo. I also got to speak with the reptile keeper about the Komodo dragon for awhile. Learned some fun facts and that she gets to go prowling around when the zoo is closed lmao.

Cool grumpycat, I like a good zoo! DH is off today so we dropped DD off at daycare and went downtown for breakfast and a haircut for him. It's his and DD's birthday 😁 so it's nice he got to sleep in and then we'll go and pick DD up soon, visit DH's aunt and my mom then we're having friends over for dinner. Busy day! We had about 40 trick or treaters last night, just the right amount if you ask me! DD liked answering the door with us.

Our city does Beggar's Night the night before Halloween so last night was just a standard night. However, it was basically a giant shit show. If something could go wrong, it did. I pounded a very large glass of wine once the kids went to bed. Tonight should (hopefully) be better.
My H is doing paperwork to restructure his student loan payment plan. It is driving me nuts trying to get everything together for it. I think he is finally ready to submit though. We are hoping to decrease the payments a bit, or at least not increase them, so we need to find every cent that we spend to submit. I think it should be ok though since we have two in daycare and a car payment that we didn't have the last time it was evaluated.
Today is my 7 year anniversary at work. I can't believe I have been here that long. Prior to this job I usually got bored by 3 years and bailed. There have been times over the years I wanted to bail but I know the grass is definitely not greener. I have it pretty good where I am.
I can't get much work done because I am basically living and breathing politics right now. Election day can't come soon enough.

I had a field trip today. I’m exhausted. There was what felt like an entire elementary school at the zoo for a bit when we first got there. It was ... A zoo. No pun intended.

I taught a class today and it ended super early so I went home and took a nap. Now I’m watching some shows then I’ll prep dinner before I get the kids from daycare.

Hello hello... just about to leave work and pick up the boys. DH already left for up north for the weekend 😬 luckily my MIL is a saint - she fed the boys dinner for me and already offered to take ds1 over night on Saturday.
